Another thing. Since which version is pkg-config required? since 1.5.7 or earlier?
Quite a while back. I just hadn't put that into the documentation till recently since the patch to require it came from Ycros who helped get it working on multiple platforms originally.
But...i compiled all the previous versions without the need of pkg-config, yet with version 1.5.8 i am getting all kinds of issues.

Partially because of my laziness, i will stay with what i've got for now. I.e 1.5.3

Conman, can you tell me how to get pkg-config? I did the usual: mingw-get install pkg-config, but no dice.

Source Code of 0.20 for Linux released.

GCC requirement lowered to 4.4
AMD CAL/OpenCL supported (compilation works, but really not tested under linux).
Was that so hard?

It does indeed contain malicious behaviour, the detection is correct.

I suspect they think that any BITCOIN software is malware.

Anyway, to users who afraid about backdoors:

1. Create separate user account in your Windows.
2. Limit this account to access any files on your disk (except %USERPROFILE% of this account)
3. Launch the miner via "Run As" context menu.
4. Add Firewall rule, allowing the miner connect only to the Pool's IP addresses.

This way any software is safe to run. It cannot to steal or damage anything, or use your PC for Spamming.
Oh, so a malware program cant delete the wallet? Get real..

Removing the CPU mining code from the miner would mean you'd have to rename it to G-Miner....

It sounds a bit like "Yo, Big G in da house"

Nope, no matter what i set, what i remove, it is always 11 seconds. Something is very wrong. And i think the problem is in this "reactor"..

Just a small bump in case someone misses the image above(even though it's huge)

Ok, well i do seem to have a problem with phoenix. The askrate is broken. I changed the askrate to a higher or lower, however phoenix always requests work every 11 seconds, not 10, 11. I even modified the code, and it still asks work every 11 seconds. What gives??
It really likes the number 11?  Well, the easiest way to track it down is to figure out what the ask rate counter variable is called and then track it down.  Somewhere, it's deciding to add the constant of 11 into memory and ignoring stdin.  I would check what the input is since that will most likely be the point of origin of the problem.
And please delete your bump; I was responding as you bumped it.
I've directly replaced the variable with a number in

Code:
    def _startCall(self):
        self._stopCall()
        if self.root.disconnected:
            return
        if self.askInterval:
            self.askCall = reactor.callLater(20, self.ask)
        else:
            self.askCall = None
and it still asks for work every 11 seconds. I've replaced all the askrate variables with a number whatever it is, but it always asks every 11 seconds.

In fact here is a screenshot to back my claims

Here and there, there might be an ask in 10 seconds, but it's mostly 11 and rarely 12-13 but never what it's set at

Oh, new page,  i am bumping my problem here cause it will get lost.

2994  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: interesting with i0coin and want to mining continue? on: August 19, 2011, 10:44:55 AM
The front page of your pools says:

Quote
49.5 I0coin * (shares found by user's workers) / (total shares in current round)
Are you really paying out more per block than the block actually produces? That's very generous of you. You also say deepbit's fee is 10%. Isn't it 3%?
Deepbit has a 10% fee for PPS and 3% for proportional. I really dunno why people use that pool with horrible design.

Some say it was ddos-ed. The dev behind it is sleeping.
