2981  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shrew Team did not pay the Signature participants on: September 04, 2021, 05:13:33 PM
First of all the forum doesn't have any business with the bounty or signature campaign unless they break the forum rules. The forum just gives an opportunity to spread the word about cryptocurrency quickly, so here is the matter. Scammers taking advantage of that and hunters getting an advantage to earn some dust. Yes, definitely it's a scam if the team disagrees to pay hunters rewards. This isn't new on the forum, it has been happening for a long time and there is no cure, to be honest.

We always just blame the manager if the project turns into a scam. Of course, it's the manager's responsibility, but what if the manager is worst and non-reputed? Isn't hunter's responsibility to make sure that the manager is well-reputed and there is less possibility of being scammed? If the team does not pay rewards we can't do much except tagging them which wouldn't consider a cure. So hunters always should research by own.
2982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the “good” fees for buying crypto on Market ? on: September 04, 2021, 12:29:41 PM
The problem would happen only if you live in a country that isn't crypto-friendly and very strict about cryptocurrency. That's why you found unrealistic exchange ratings on peer-to-peer exchange. For me, 5-7% is enough for peer-to-peer exchange. I won't go more than 5% if there isn't any urgency. Most probably you can't find solutions easily to high exchange rates, it depends on where you are living. The centralized exchange has an issue with KYC, and the decentralized exchange has a liquidity issue. This problem will exist forever. So choose depends on needs and capacity, either avoid high fees or proceed.
2983  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how often exchanges settle transactions? on: September 03, 2021, 06:07:28 PM
When you are trading on a centralized exchange and Buying an altcoin from there means you are just buying an algorithm that has been implemented internally. This trade or transaction has nothing to do with live blockchain unless you withdraw or deposit funds. Dex is different than a centralized exchange, all transactions on dex happen in the blockchain. When you withdraw from a centralized exchange then the exchange release this coin or token from their custody and transactions become live on the blockchain. That's how centralized exchange works.
2984  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: $35m in cryptocurrency stolen from a company. on: September 03, 2021, 08:12:40 AM
Something suspicious there. The amount of $35M isn't a small amount. If that company continually hasn't been dealing with Bitcoin like an exchange then the fund is supposed to store in non-custodial wallets. Who knows if one of the directors steals the fund and making a false excuse. This is cryptocurrency everything would happen. I don't believe a company that has been holding a big amount of cryptocurrency will store funds on the web or in an unsecured wallet. Police investigation doesn't help to identify hackers always. So, I believe it's a pre-planned hack.

We need some cryptocurrency insurance providers to pop up and give us some protection.
Then we will see more cryptocurrency hacking drama.
2985  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is www.iexwls.com scam?? on: September 02, 2021, 06:55:07 PM
I am curious how did you find this exchange and from where? Many more reputed exchanges are well known, trusted, and with high volume. But why had you decided to deposit $600 there? Seems this is your first post and you joined at this forum on August 31, 2021, 07:39:09 PM. On the same day you made post-August 31, 2021, 08:17:32 PM, so your post and register time gap is 38 minutes. It's quite surprising that you made the post in the correct section by discovering the scam accusation board.

Isn't it an attempt to promote an exchange with the question mark? I am not saying you are laying, but often scammer promotes their site this way. It's not new anything. If it's possible then you may provide a few more info if you don't have a privacy issue. For example transaction link, a screenshot of the address from the platform, balance, and what error showing during withdrawal.
2986  Economy / Reputation / Re: bounty manager, Become a bounty hunter?? on: September 02, 2021, 05:08:04 PM
To be honest, still, I am getting hard to understand the situation. Do you think the campaign manager persgrata and Manish2809 connected somehow? And please describe how the manager abuse the campaign if so.

Anyway manager could participate own campaign, but he isn't allowed to participate with multiple accounts. It will consider campaign abuse. Managers can't or shouldn't break their own made rules. We have seen previously how managers abuse the campaign. The manager you mentioned here is just a spammer. It's quite surprising how he has been getting projects. Please provide a few more info to make it transparent.
2987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The joy of trading the spot market on: September 02, 2021, 02:07:10 PM
I am not much familiar with future or leverage trading nor I am interested in it. Although future trading isn't direct gambling but something similar to. It doesn't mean future trading is worst, still, it would life-changing trade for pro traders who are experienced in price predictions. Each trader has a different choice and they are stuck with that. They are taking a high risk and earning high as well. Those we aren't high-risk takers then we can't earn high as well. If you want to stick with spot trading then you can, no one forcing you to do future trading. Choose is yours, whatever you like you can.
2988  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ads auction rules on: September 01, 2021, 07:03:15 PM
Since the scam isn't moderated by the forum so most likely that's why it hasn't been added to the auction rules. I can't recall exactly, a long time ago I have seen a few auctions was rejected due to a bad reputation on the forum. And if I can remember correctly theymos point it out there. That means if theymos aware of a proven scam then he has been denied auction. And as we have seen they even reject 1xbit ads previously due to many scam accusations though the ad was approved. So the auction is open for everyone, but approval depends on theymos.
2989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the last quarter of 2021, prepare for the profit coming. on: September 01, 2021, 06:54:26 PM
Where to invest? Isn't current situations is quite risky. I don't believe in trading signals but seems even signals group doesn't want to give altcoin for a few days. They just updating about Bitcoin price. For me, it's a critical zone for Bitcoin and I really don't understand where would go the price. Supposed to be run forward, but seems not much strong movement lately. Either whales playing or investors entering very slowly. I wouldn't suggest investing in altcoin lately unless Bitcoin clears its movement. But we might take the risk of Bitcoin short. But still, I will say it's quite risky for a short trade. So any financial decisions should make yourself in this situation. Don't take other's suggestions and don't regret.
2990  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: September 01, 2021, 06:43:45 PM
I lost a lot from altcoin, so I don't believe anymore in that. I think not only me, but many more people have also lost the same like me. Especially if you invest in shitcoin then means you are gambling with your funds. And as we know most people on gambling have been losing. To be honest almost 98% of altcoin is useless. There is no use expect trading on the exchange, so from it we can't expect much. Investing in Bitcoin means you aren't going to lose Bitcoin. Doesn't matter the price, it would pump or dump at any time. But if you bought one Bitcoin means still you will have one Bitcoin. Anytime would recover price even after drop. But if you hold shitcoin and in case dump it, means you lost Bitcoin or USDT since we evaluate altcoin price in USDT or Bitcoin. So think about what is best for you.
2991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins? on: September 01, 2021, 05:29:08 PM
Every different person has a different thought, same every government has a different point of view about Bitcoin. Most countries aren't well familiar with Bitcoin technology. I am not sure about other countries, but my country's government thinks it's very easy money Laundering via Bitcoin. On the other hand, they think there is a high risk in Bitcoin investment due to much volatility. That's why Bitcoin is illegal in my country. But I will say my government doesn't know Bitcoin technology how works. Due to a lack of enough Bitcoin knowledge, they discouraged allowing it.
2992  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring Dev to make site [gambling] on: September 01, 2021, 04:50:54 PM
I think the post is more appropriate in the Project Development section rather than Service section since you are looking for a developer. Hope you will get someone to develop your gambling site.

Just for your info, many scammers would PM you or contact you via Telegram as well. So just make sure you are going to deal with the real developer. Otherwise, just use escrow service from the forum to make sure you are not going to being a scam.
2993  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scamming people, take your win, never give you money! Video/pictures proof on: August 31, 2021, 04:35:57 PM
I am just wondering why people still gambling on this scam platform. It's quite surprising people visit the forum after getting scam but never bothered to visit the scam accusation board before making a deposit. Hundreds of scam accusation have been created against 1xbit, anyone read them shouldn't involve with it. 1xbit does not care about reputation on the forum since they have gotten a lot of negative feedback from DT members. So this post would only serve as an awareness. They have always been banning accounts with shit excuses. The behavior of 1xbit will never change, so we should change our behavior.
2994  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: August 31, 2021, 03:21:48 PM
To be honest, it's not an easy task earning online at all. So many people giving many suggestions to earn from online. But it's not easy like you are thinking. Since your website is under development, hope you are the one who develops it. So if you have development skills then it would help you to earn from the online marketplace in a legit way. Sell sometime time on the marketplace for a passive income. But not sure you will get works. You may look into the forum as well in the project development section where sometimes people have been finding developers. Try your luck.
2995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Bitcointalk assisted in my financial stability on: August 30, 2021, 01:04:59 PM
A good lesson so far for me as well. Seems somehow you have been getting benefits from the forum by learning. Sadly before introducing myself to the forum, I lost a lot which is unrecoverable. Same as you, once I joined the forum and start learning about cryptocurrency then somehow I am getting benefits from here. Gain some trading skills, manage a couple of campaigns, and by doing the signature campaign. I have to admit I have earned a decent amount of Bitcoin from the forum although it's not life-changing but quite helpful.

I believe your story will motive others for learning about cryptocurrency. We always should keep in mind, the forum isn't any marketplace from where you can earn, but by learning from here we can earn definitely. Should learn and apply in life.
2996  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Think twice before making a post on: August 30, 2021, 12:46:40 PM
To be honest we might reduce creating thousands of new topics just using the search feature of the forum. But sadly newbies even a few old users don't like to use that feature. As a newbie, there would be many questions in mind, but the many answers exist on the forum always. We are just skipping them due to our lazy behavior. Those who are intending to learn from the forum, definitely think twice before posting, either a new topic or replies. Sadly we can't prevent bounty hunters from doing spam on the forum. So just use the report button and help the forum prevent spam. That's what at least we can do from our ends.
2997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading skills on: August 30, 2021, 03:16:34 AM
When you need to take suggestions about trading then that means you have to take the suggestions from a successful trader. But sadly very rarely you will find this kind of trader. I believe the only way to improve your trading skill is to lose and learn. Are you worried to hear it? But this is the truth. Because most beginners on the trading lost fund and improve skill. No, they don't trade for loss, they trade to make money but unfortunately, they lost. So what you need to do, trade with a very small amount of funds that you can afford the loss. To continue your practice and try to research on Google & YouTube how can you improve your trading skill. Hope some days you would be a pro-trader.
2998  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake elon musk 5000 btc giveaway on: August 30, 2021, 02:52:58 AM
Here is another scam domain, how easy become scam newbies. The domain is below.
Code:
https://egyptwindoge.cf
When I have been browsing Facebook in the morning, an ad with this domain pop-up front of me. So just wondered to add the link on the forum to make it searchable here. The script is very old as usual scam using it for a long time. Although old crypto users are familiar with that, but I am worried about newbies. So guys just are aware of this scam method.
2999  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Top Urgent-Bilaxy exchange Hacked Notice!! on: August 29, 2021, 01:46:37 PM
The thread doesn't belong to the Bitcoin Discussion board, please move it to the exchange section from the lower left. Reported by the way, hope moderators will move either.

As far as we can see the crypto market run to bull then hackers become active to hack crypto platform. So this isn't new for us, especially for a centralized cryptocurrency platform. Although I am not well-familiar with that exchange but worried about the user's funds. Because we don't know if it's real hacking or just a drama to shutting down the exchange for exit scam without refunding users. Hacking exchange means defeat of the exchange and it's their responsibility. Exchange should refund user's funds from their reserve and that's what we learned from reputable exchanges. Let's see what's going on.
3000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as primary currency on: August 29, 2021, 01:23:52 PM
If there is an opportunity to receive your salary in Bitcoin then you may accept 100% of your salary to avoid any harassment with the company where you are working now. But for your daily need, you may be cash out apart from your salary and the rest would exist as an investment. If I were you then most likely I do the same as I described above. For that, you should have trusted sources where you can sell your earrings easily without any hesitation.

On the other hand, if you are much interested in Bitcoin and you failed to manage your company to pay salary in Bitcoin then just make it simple to buy Bitcoin with cash. Whatever you feel easy just proceed with it, use your brain always instead of depending on others suggestions.
