There is also Dana White Contender Series I am watching recently and they are great to watch, Dana is forcing them to show all their skills. That should count for both sides casino and for player, but that is not always the case in gambling  I don't know what is the reason for limiting your bets but it's probably based on history of your bets, maybe they noticed something suspicious. The hype is because he is 17 and he is in UFC ? Or that 17 years old kid compete with adults? I dont understand that. He is allowed to his people in the face, get paid for that, but is not allowed to buy an alcohol - lol  I remember Mike Tyson started boxing very early and he had his first official fight with 18 years old, but I would say that MMA is much more dangerous. Someone even said that Tyson had to lie in one of his fights because he was underage but he didn't look that young. Manny Pacquiao was age 16 when he started fighting inside the ring with adult boxers, but back then the age limit was very strict so he used fake age when he fights inside the ring, they say that he is already willing to fight a guy with 10 years gap to him, but you can never be young or old to get what you wanted, or to be who you wanted to be, It just that in a young age he is early to look for things that could make him money for his family,

Yeah, although Izzy did move up a weight class, and was significantly under weight, since that division allows a larger amount of weight difference, obviously. So, it's understandable how he was taken to the ground a lot. The most surprising thing to me was due to that ground threat he was actually losing on the stand up exchanges. I'd expect him to be a lot better if he were to go up again though.
I won't compare Pereira with Błachowicz this is what happens when you start to think you are invincible so much that you can move category with same weight. Izzy is going to be much better against Pereira, but people are demanding to see more action in his fights so he must take more risks in this fight. He can't go on with his safe attitude for long as a champion his division. As far as weaknesses go, Adesanya is no match vs Blachowicz. In hind sight because the match was at 205, Adesanya showed that he couldn't bulk up enough to make the full weight... And Blachowicz turned out to be yuuuge. Adesanya almost didn't change his standard weight and any other top light-heavyweight would won that fight, not just Blachowicz. Same thing would happen if Blachowicz would go to heavyweight category to fight Francis Ngannou. |

It's also worth noting that Izzy pretty much dominated until getting knocked out. So, while Alex is definitely a good knockout artist, he probably does get beat convincingly without getting that knockout. Obviously, it doesn't matter if he can continue to find that knock out, but I'm not convinced he can.
We are going to see if Izzy has Achilles' heel or not, but he showed weakness not just against Alex Pereira but also in fight with Jan Błachowicz. His game is great but far from perfect and I think that mental condition will be the key in fight against Pereira. As much as I like Adesanya I think that he can be little cocky sometimes and he can pay the price for this. Whatever anybody says MMA is as close as it gets to real fighting. Western boxing is just a part of MMA's whole. It's a skill set that every MMA fighter needs to learn but it's not the end all and be all of the sport. I used to watch a lot of boxing but once you get into MMA, esp the UFC and know the all fighters from top to bottom, it's just better, more well organized and it's an easy sport to follow overall. And as far as the betting market goes, MMA is waaay better.
You can be a great MMA fighter without top boxing skills, Khabib did great for years before he improved a lot in that area. MMA can be better because it combines other combat sports, but some people don't like wrestling or grappling and find it boring. No wonder there are such huge cuts only in MMA. It is impossible to make such a cut with boxing glove. Such cuts can occur in boxing after head clash or if a bloody bruise explodes. But boxing, imho, is much more traumatic, mainly because there is no pause (like clinch, ground game) from receiving punches.
Most of this terrible cuts are done by elbows or knees and that is not allowed in boxing, there are gloves in MMA but I think they could be improved a lot to avoid or reduce eye pocking. When I say cuts I always remember Diaz brothers that are always bleeding a lot, and once you get cut it's easier to open old wounds again much easier. I think I never saw Adesanya seriously getting cut, maybe because he has such a great defensive play for avoiding punches. |

I think that some clubs are doing dirty deals with managers and players, so you never know real amount of money someone payed. Sometimes this could be to avoid paying high taxes, and sometimes to trick players so that other people could earn extra money. Just look what boxing promoter Don King did with Mike Tyson and other boxers, I am sure there are people like that in football, if not worse. |

I don't watch Cage Wariors but this Bellator 285 event could be very interesting to watch with Yoel Romero coming back in octagon again against other oldtimer Melvin Manhoef. If I was making this card I would move Manhoef vs Romero for main event instead of Henderson vs Queally, but I am not even near matchmakers Romero should win, he is huge favorite and he has the reach advantage, but I don't like this odds at all, so much that I would even try small bet against him.
