In deed selling in bear market is not a good option unless you do so under compulsion to meet cash needs. The better option is to readjust your portfolio and switch from weak coins ( Non performing ) to those who are likely to trend in near future like WEB 3.0 and metaverse are expected to perform well in 2022 whereas Bitcoin price is likely to remain side ways during 2022 as money tightening policy will push pressure on Stock and Crypto markets. |

After your this post I searched about that coin which McDonalds suggested as I heard its name for the first time but I found that this coin was not in existence and it was created after that discussion and people rushed to put their money in that coin. What was his intention with giving that name? It really feels like they are playing with this community. Yes that's exactly what happened and not only one coin with couple of hours dozens of grimacecoin pooped up and it did not stop there domain name was registered and twitter accounts were setup too. And people started putting money too Brothers, I think both of them are very speculative coins with no strong use case. Taking entry into them during the hype means you put your money at high risk which can probably give huge reward as well but in such speculative situation only few are winners and majority of investors is loser so better put minimum amount in such coins which you can afford to lose. I’m not sure, obviously it’s come from nowhere with a very low price to being one of the main coins people talk about. Some people mention it as the next ETH. I’m just not so sure, it’s had several outages & tgey just can’t continue to repeat or it’ll go to zero.
Although Solana has shown remakable performance during the past one year and its price has gone up many many folds which reflects hard work of its team who made this chain one of the fastest ( more than 50,000 transactions/second) but I think Solana is overpriced when we look at its networks performance which shuts down from time due to technical reasons despite being De-centralized which raises many questions. Network outage is a serious issue which can damage its reputation. |

In my case, I am so grateful that me and my family didn't suffer from the virus glad that no one has ever contacted positive but the worst thing that this pandemic brought us is the hurdles that we faced because of losing job. I am not from Russia, but total poverty seems to be an inaccurate statement. Besides that, I would say the economy will get boosted if it comes to war. I mean, that was/is one of the tools for economy-boosting in the past. Just look at how it worked for years with their USA and their Afghanistan & Irak war. I am not sure about the accuracy of the statement that their economy is collapsing because I have been hearing that about all the other superpowers, and not much evidence behind it, but, if I would to take one clue that it might be, then war is a dead ringer for that.
I think Russian economy is not so fragile to collapse easily when we look at its huge oil/gas reserves and their skyrocketing prices but using war to improve economy might have been a good idea in the past and many world's major powers have used it successfully but in 2022 no civilized society can afford to support it. Although dumping of all Altcoins started at the beginning of 2022, in last 2 days we can see that the market has started to be bullish again. I hope it was a correction that has already begun to recover. And after 1 week the market situation will be understood more clearly.
Hopefully, 32,950 was the bottom of Bitcoin for 2022 and now we will witness organic growth in its price in coming days and weeks. It is important for Bitcoin to stay above 40K to trigger good rally in Alts. True. Good projects of Alts market will never disappoint their investors and they will definitely perform once Bitcoin comes out of current bear cycle . Its been the same story with russia for many years now. The united states, EU, UN and NATO seek to keep russia contained. Strict economic sanctions are imposed on russia to make them dependant on china as an economic trading partner. China pretends to be russia's friend so they can get close to russia and steal all of russia's advanced military technology.
Russia rattles its saber and makes threats. Whether its russia threatening to invade sweden, russian bombers flying near to alaska, russian military ships sailing to within 30 miles of hawaii or troop build ups on ukraine's border, its all the same. So far they have all been empty threats for near to 10 years.
Whether or not that will change in the future, remains to be seen.
The EU and most european nations have weak militaries and rely primarily on the united states for safety. If american inflation rises, it could diminish the united states ability to function as global police. Which could leave many parts of the world undefended if an economic crisis occurs. If russia does attack, the best time to do so, could be in the event of an american economic crisis.
There are many pieces of the puzzle and they are all moving at the same time. Which makes it hard to say what the future will look like.

Like what most have mentioned, the only thing that I see this from working is if you hire someone who does the trading/investing for you, which I think is risky enough for someone to get scammed. In addition, avoid ponzi-schemes since those kind of business models cannot work in longterm due to their nature of offering significant amount of returns in a short amount of time. I personally advise you to check your BTCs regularly and the market price. If you plan on HODLing for long-term gains, then the best way is to HODL and currently check the market value depending on your goal. Assuming that you aim for short-term profit, then withdraw them as soon as its price reach above the initial investment you put on. When I first started my Crypto Journey as a small (and stupid) private Investor I first bought ETH. After that I bought the "old & slow" BTC. When I gained 100%+ after around 1 year, I sold half of my BTCÐ to own "free crypto". It felt like I was Warren Buffet on Crack and it also definitely helped me to get through the bear market after 2017. In this time I became a hardcore "BTC or die"-Guy. I still own some stupid altcoins, but really small amounts. Its gambling and testing around for me. I don't want to outperform BTC with it, just try staking or the network itself. Right now I feel like (besides all the risks), that I don't want to trade my BTC back to weird fiat digits on my bank account - Even at times it maybe would be the more financally smart thing to do. Maximizing profits aside: How do you guys feel about selling BTC for fiat gains (or even at a loss [maybe for tax reasons or because your insane  ]? Do you guys life by the "No Neo, I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready... you won't have to (sell your btc)"-Meme or are you mere mortals that sell before they lose their fiat profits? We know very well that Fiat is an inflationary currency and it will continue losing its purchasing power with the passage of time but we need it to buy goods and services until Bitcoin is fully adopted. I don't think I am a Maxist but I understand Bull and bear cycles and would sell part of my Bitcoin in Bull market and buy it again in the bear market to increase my Bitcoin though sometimes this kind of decision is risky as nobody can correctly predict the Top and bottom of market despite good knowledge and skill of Technical Indicators. |
