This project can be great in many ways, but the original post sounds iffy for some reason still...

cant wait for the client release.
I do think however, that a java client is a bit of a mistake, but a beginning needs to be made somewhere Wink

Apologies to BitKoot, for not shedding more light on this.
I have been forced to drop this project due to many new open source similar projects are popping up.
I have not used any of the work BitKoot has provided (please PM me if you feel I am treating you unfairly and you want some sort of compensation, but please bear in mind, that I did not actually ask you to do anything, you offered it yourself)

As to the allegation of me not replying - please understand, that if you see me offline, it does not actually mean that I am active on this forum. I have dropped in once or twice after your messages - yes, but had no time to reply to them.

Once again, I do not want to have a bad name in this forum, so please contact me to resolve any issues you may have.
My sincere apologies for not letting you know on time.
2993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First Video Explaining NameCoin !! Go Check it out :) on: June 09, 2013, 12:13:24 PM
it does. .bit is yet to take off properly. At the moment cencorship from govs is minor compared to what is coming.
.bit and other alternative networks will book within 2 years from now. Then you will be hitting yourself saying "STUPID! Stupid...Stupid!.." for not getting into this earlier.

Personally I am going to invest some of my own time and money to produce several services for NMC. It deserves it. It is the only coin with an actual purpose.

2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eMunie (EMU) - NOT a BitCoin fork/clone - call for beta testers on: June 05, 2013, 03:14:12 PM
I am interested in getting involved.
Let me know what you need. I have extensive background in IT technologies and Retail systems (think POS hardware and software)

I really think that backing EMU's with USD is a call for failure before start. The whole point of all cryptos is to replace fiat (at least it should be. i hope it will - in the long run)
Backing it up with a worthless paper might cause issues, since we all know that it isnt stable enough and will only lose value.

Platina, Gold and Silver (maybe even some diamonds or preacious stones as opposed to metals would drive some more interest)
If you decide to go this way, make sure you dont buy bonds or shares, but actual physical item (ie gold bars, silver bars and diamonds, saphires and such). These things will only gain value in the long run. If you have the 50-100K - use it to buy something more valuable Smiley

thoughts?

P.S. Please let me know when I can start testing your stuff. I simply love innovative solutions to problems others seem to ignore Smiley Wish you all the best with this project, and I will do everything I can to help this move forward.

2999  Bitcoin / Project Development / [CODERS NEEDED] Edit simple code [BOUNTY = 40LTC] on: May 21, 2013, 01:07:57 PM
Hi all,

I am in the works of starting to make physical crypto currency debit cards.
I need someone who is able to alter the https://casascius.com/btcaddress-alpha.zip (this includes the source) for it to be able to generate similar outputs as the original. It would need to create public and private keys also and the ability to change the size of the QR codes on the fly would be a great feature to add.
Initially I will need this working for NMC, BTC, LTC to start with.

I am looking for someone to simply change the templates used in the above code to match my designs, make the qr codes smaller, place them in different locations of the card, thats basically IT!

Please PM me your quotes.

Since this requires altering a source code and throwing up  a site together I am looking for reasonable quotes from you guys!

Apologies if the description is vague, - I am currently not at home. Please ask questions if there are any and I will do my best to answer them all!

Regards,

bittick
