2981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People claiming themself satoshi on: March 27, 2022, 03:52:08 AM

There is a lot of news stating that someone claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto, and I'm sure everything is a lie, I better believe that Mr. Satoshi is dead because there has been news that wants to track about Mr. Satoshi, let's don't waste time thinking about who Satoshi, but we deserve to thank because the idea makes everything easier.

We don't know he's alive or dead but he chose to stay silent so anyone claiming to be Satoshi is a liar. People who claim to be bitcoin creators just because they want people to notice, they can't access any assets left by real satoshi.

Satoshi Nakamoto is actually alive or dead, many say he is dead. Now it is seen that many people are claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto. I visited his bitcointalk account profile and saw Last Active: December 13, 2010, 10:45:41 PM Satoshi Nakamoto, Now the thing is that those who are claiming can claim themselves as satoshi by posting from this account? And even if he can do it, why not do it if he is still alive ?

This is the simplest way to prove someone is Satoshi, but I think no one will do that because all of them are not real Satoshi.
2982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's approval of BTC on: March 26, 2022, 04:46:53 AM
If Russian president Putin accept Bitcoin as a legal tender, i think it is because of the problem between Russia and Ukraine, because before now i over heard that Russian country ban Bitcoin before now, maybe from what I'm seeing the country have notice that Bitcoin is one of the options that will liberate them from this economic crisis's that is in line to affect both parties that is in battle line between Russia and Ukraine
true, because bitcoin will not only bring Russia out of the economic crisis but the main role is that it will not make anyone in the world who will be able to embargo them. because it is currently seen in many countries that have started freezing the assets of Russian citizens, both for individuals and even for companies that have assets in the country that carried out the freezing. Of course this will make the Russian economy disrupted because the Russian currency will be difficult to accept, by providing an opportunity to receive bitcoin, there is a solution that can be done from the embargo that has been carried out.
The sudden approval of bitcoin before the war started, I think they only see bitcoin as one of the temporary solutions when sanctions are imposed. Bitcoin is very difficult to help Russia out of the economic crisis, it is impossible. Bitcoin will be better for individuals than Russian government.
Assuming the Russian government accepts bitcoin as legal tender to evade sanctions, the US and Europe will impose bans on the crypto. We need to see clearly that the US is looking for ways to kill the Russian economy so they won't give up any way.
A China bans bitcoin, it probably won't affect bitcoin much, but the US and all its allies ban bitcoin, I think that's a big problem with crypto.
2983  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency Awareness Campaign on: March 26, 2022, 04:10:09 AM
Only social media I think do have large impact for create an Bitcoin awareness to anyone, each person must have at least one social media, they might accidentally saw an account promote about Bitcoin. The other thing might create awareness is when popular brand accepting Bitcoin e.g. Subway, McDonald, KFC, etc.

Agree. With the development of the internet today, most of us have at least one social network account to connect with people around and the outside world.
Nowadays, people are looking for what they need most of them will search on social network so social network is the best place to help people have fastest approach and awareness about cryptocurrency.
2. Bitcointalk.org. In this forum one will be educated on all the aspect of crypto currencies Bitcoin
Even this forum has altcoins section, but Bitcointalk purposely only for Bitcoin's enthusiast not shitcoin's enthusiast. I don't see any good discussion on altcoins section, it's only flooded with spammer and scammer. If you want to discuss about shitcoin, better move to altcoinstalk or cryptotalk.
People on this forum are mainly focused on bitcoin and ETH. Most of the rest of altcoins are not warmly welcomed here, people prefer to be safe rather than looking for something new.
2984  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of BTC dropping? on: March 26, 2022, 03:45:39 AM
There is no market that only increases without decreasing, it is like a country's economy will have growth and recession depending on a lot of objective factors.
Market correction is no surprise, everything goes as predicted bitcoin hits ATH in 2021 then falls is evident.
Moreover, bitcoin is a long-term investment you should not be too worried when its price drops in the short term. Look at the future, bitcoin is brighter than what you see now.
2985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Bitcoin, No fun for you! on: March 26, 2022, 03:27:13 AM
These girls aren’t stupid, most of the ones who are even slightly above average in their chosen occupation earn more than the average guy. People can laugh & look down on them but mostly they have the last laugh. Good for them if they are migrating to crypto & specifically BTC, I wish them the best of luck.

Not only are they not stupid, but I think they are also very smart to keep up with the pace of life. RUB coins are having bad days, holding them right now people are killing themselves. Bitcoin and cryptos are for everyone rich or poor, so it's great to see bitcoin spreading to every corner of our world.
2986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: March 25, 2022, 03:23:43 AM
I have never mined BTC and I think buying and holding BTC would be more appropriate for individuals. Just have a little money, you patiently wait for the market to drop, you can buy BTC and hold it for a long time, you will definitely make profit.
Buying and holding BTC does not require you to have as much money as mining. Example 40k you can buy 30k BTC and 10k you can buy ETH to get more new experience of the market.
On the contrary, mining will be more suitable for organizations and businesses because it requires a lot of costs and human resources to exploit.
2987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honduras to declare Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: March 25, 2022, 02:59:43 AM
This might be fake news, but even if it's true, then so what?
Another small underdeveloped country accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender. Is this a reason for the Bitcoin community to celebrate? It's not like the USA or China adopted Bitcoin as legal tender. Grin
It doesn't make you happy is it because it can't make bitcoin price go up because of that news?

When one more person or organization accepts bitcoin, i think that's also a bitcoin success. This is a country, although the 3rd world countries are small and do not have a voice in the world economy like the great powers, but this is a good thing we should be proud of and proud of for bitcoin.
What will happen when all the small, underdeveloped countries of the world accept bitcoin as legal tender?. I think it won't be small anymore. The world is full of surprises so don't look down on anyone, as China is increasingly becoming the world center in place of the US.
2988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2022, 02:39:05 AM
If Bitcoin is a better and higher currency than fiat, why then do bitcoiners hurdle it?
I think money is best used for buying and selling not hoarding, we get to see the value more when using it.
This my thoughts, wby?

It depends on your usage needs, buying and selling still happens every day with bitcoin.

Most people try to accumulate bitcoins for themselves instead of trading because they are saving for the future. Looking at bitcoin history, you will see that the value of bitcoin relative to fiat has increased thousands of times while fiat is still depreciating day by day. So the best way to increase wealth and protect it from increasing inflation holding bitcoin is a great idea.
2989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of bitcoin if Satoshi Identity is revealed on: March 25, 2022, 02:18:04 AM
One of the reason for high trust on bitcoin is that the bitcoin owner Satoshi identity is hidden. If all of sudden Satoshi come in the public and his identity is revealed, do you think it will have a bad impact on the bitcoin price and it can dump?  Or do you think that bitcoin price will pump on this revelation? Mind you that i am talking about the real satoshi, not the fake ones claiming themselves to be satoshi.

If he shows up there might be some disturbance, people trust bitcoin because of its decentralization and Satoshi can't control the whole bitcoin so I don't think it can adversely affect it. Bitcoin exists and thrives to this day thanks to the worldwide community of bitcoiners.

We are grateful that Satoshi made bitcoin for us but at this point, bitcoin is no longer private to anyone including Satoshi.
2990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you even helped anyone with bitcoin? on: March 24, 2022, 04:24:33 PM
I never transfer Bitcoin to anyone because many people I know don't know about Bitcoin. but if to help my friends or relatives with the results I get from Bitcoin very much, I exchange it to Fiat and then give it to them, I think it's enough to make me satisfied because I can help the people closest to me even I don't want them to know about how I am get it all, because I think those who need help don't care about all that.
Transferring fiat to them I think it's still more practical. We don't necessarily have to transfer bitcoins or altcoins, I find that rather gimmicky and impractical. as they will eventually exchange for fiat to use for their purposes. Like OP's case, he is at the hospital and what he got is bitcoins, what if the hospital doesn't accept bitcoins?. It takes him longer to convert them and sometimes market volatility makes the price lower than he really wants to use.
2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: March 23, 2022, 04:09:52 PM
I'm not sure that out of all the options you mention it can go up to 10x, maybe 3x the most because they are high quality coins, of course it takes a lot of volume to move the price.
So far I've only followed the popular trends, I'm sure they still have good potential to generate big returns, at least they will hit a new ATH in the next few years.
If it's the two coins I chose they are XRP and Cardona, they at least prove that they are very strong from their fundamentals and their community is filled with real investors.

The coins he mentioned have increased many times over the price of ICO, IDO. So going to 10x can be difficult or take years to achieve, but all these coins have a lot of potential and are a safe bet behind bitcoin. Instead of following the trends in the market will give you huge profits but that doesn't mean you won't risk even losing everything if you invest in shitcoins.
2992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As big as binance in the future on: March 23, 2022, 03:58:28 PM
Most exchanges these days have their own tokens and of course they want to be as successful as Binance. In my personal opinion, the kucoin token is worth the long term investment, besides there are some newer exchanges like bybit and mexc.
To be a top exchange like Binance may not be easy but cryptocurrency is always full of surprises, before Binance became the top exchange we also had bittrex and it was defeated by BNB. So please allocate your capital to optimize profits as well as risks .
2993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend crypto? If yes, for what? on: March 23, 2022, 03:19:43 PM
I used BNB, TRON several times for mobile credit payment. Crypto are still not legal where I live so it's quite difficult to use them often, I can barely use my coins for other services. As I know, the government where I live is said to be drafting legal issues for crypto, I hope they will legalize it instead of banning it, if it gets banned this will be very bad for crypto users in my homeland.
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how does coin price UP & DOWN @ pancakeswap? on: March 23, 2022, 02:38:12 PM
Let's say there is a coin listed on pancakeswap and not listed elsewhere. Users keep on sell and purchase the coin..

So i am curious to know; how does the price go UP & DOWN because now the coin is on DEX only...

on CEX the price goes UP & DOWN; totally depends upon demand & supply... but how this thing work on DEX?

There will be a slight difference here. In addition to the exchange based on buying and selling, when we trade on the DEX there is an additional liquidity pool. This means that it doesn't require you to place buy or sell orders and wait for someone else to do so to match orders like the CEX exchange. You just need to order your token and the token is in the liquidity pool using user provided liquidity and the transaction will be done through smart contracts.
2995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 23, 2022, 02:21:02 PM

What do you think about this project? Will it have a future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

2021, Solana becomes a bright star of the market. However, for those who follow Solana, it can be seen that the ecosystem is not having much growth, even declining recently.
IMO, I still rate SOL as one of the potential and long-term investment projects. Of course, the SOL development team needs to work even harder to fix the problems that SOL is having. SOL as well as other projects are still very young compared to ETH. No project is 100% perfect so SOL needs more time to perfect itself.
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: March 23, 2022, 02:07:44 PM
One of the biggest problems when investing in a bear run is selecting which project to invest into because a lot of them won't survive a bear market. Investing in a bull market is pretty easy because in bull everything goes up. However, when the market is bearish, investing in the wrong project can make you lose all your investment.
The bear market is an opportunity for us to buy coins at a low price, but the choice of project is extremely important.
Yes, I agree. Many projects will not be able to survive the prolonged bear season, including topcoins 10 or 20 on CMC. Therefore, you must research carefully before investing or you will lose money.
2997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Malaysian Ministry proposes cryptocurrencies as legal tender? on: March 21, 2022, 04:16:24 PM
Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country with a cryptocurrency ownership rate of 20%, ranking 2nd in the region after Vietnam, accounting for 28% of the population. Currently, bitcoin is also the most sought after and owned crypto in this country.
Deputy Minister Zahidi Zainul Abidin predicts crypto will be the financial industry in the future, so he wants the government to approve this proposal soon to attract young people to participate in crypto more to boost the economy of Malaysia.
2998  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what could be Vladimir Putin intension for the war? on: March 20, 2022, 09:26:10 AM
Despite the fact that the negotiations for peace between Russia and Ukraine is making good progress, it really appears that Vladimir Putin just want to destroy Ukraine. If the intent of Putin is really in the best interest of Russia and not personal grievance for what so ever his personal reason could be, why not call a halt on his troop until the negotiation is over.
source
Ukraine joining NATO began since 1992, and began its NATO membership action plan in 2008, why didn’t he start this war then? Was he friends with previous Ukrainian Presidents and probably do not just like Volodymyr Zelenskyy? Source
I would like to know your opinion on what could be the real intent for this war

Despite the fact that between Russia and Ukraine there is a fourth round of negotiations, they are absolutely not successful. At first, representatives of Russia only threw ultimatums, setting unrealistic conditions and in fact demanding that Ukraine unconditionally surrender to the invaders. As the Russian blitzkrieg failed and the losses in manpower and equipment left the Kremlin in shock, now the ultimatums have disappeared and at least some signs of possible agreements have begun to appear. Yesterday, the negotiations were put on a technical pause until today to clarify positions.
If not for Ukraine's desire to join NATO, Putin would still have found another reason to attack Ukraine. He needs Ukraine and its history of Kievan Rus for his empire.
As far as I know, Russia's request is: maintain neutrality so that Ukraine does not join any military group or alliance, recognize Russia's sovereignty over Crimea, demilitarize the government Ukraine. please correct me if I am wrong.
After all, if Ukraine joined Nato it would be really dangerous for Russia. The US sending troops and establishing military bases in Nato countries is to preserve peace and territory. but for Russia, this is a serious threat to its security. We all know that the US, Russia and China are the three biggest powers. they will never get along and will seek to isolate and strangle each other if given the chance.

2999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 20, 2022, 07:04:36 AM
I just store it on the exchange I’m using since I can’t do day trading if my tokens are not on the exchange.
It is the same with me. I also often trade in CEX (Centralized Exchange), so I just put my coins or tokens on the exchange wallets. I think we don't need to worry about our coins or tokens there as long as we choose reputable exchanges. I don't want to send my tokens to private wallets, and then send them again when I want to trade. This will take too many transaction fees, so I avoid this. Top exchanges such as Binance, Kucoin, Gate, or Huobi, are secure enough as a place to keep our coins and tokens.

Its true that there is a risk if we store our tokens on centralized exchanges as we do not actually hold the private key. But I think most day traders will leave their cryptocurrencies on the exchange instead of having to withdraw them to personal wallets, this will affect the trading orders we are executing.
Therefore, choosing an exchange is very important. Binance is the choice of most traders as it is the largest exchange today.
I'm also storing some of my tokens on Binance, I'm pretty safe leaving my coins on Binance and I haven't had any problems.
3000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2022, 06:17:15 AM
Yes, I think the war between Russia and Ukraine affected the movement of bitcoin, both countries have the key to the world's global economy, currently the world economy is a little disturbed by the war, starting from the price of crude oil, gas, raw materials for chips, gold, and bitcoin are also affected by the situation. Therefore, if the war between the two countries is resolved properly, it is certain that the global economy and all digital markets will grow positively.
Conflict is messing things up, inflation is high, this war will definitely have to end because it doesn't benefit russia and ukraine. The current bitcoin price has dropped a lot since the most recent ATH, plus the instability in the world, things look to be slowing down.

This can be seen as an opportunity to buy bitcoin before things return to normal and we will soon see bitcoin have a new ATH. It's never too late to invest in bitcoin.
