2981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to sports bet ( BITCOIN book) on: October 25, 2021, 09:20:32 PM
Hey I want to deposit a little bit of BTC, I like to sports bet and do maybe 20 a game, but I do not know which book to choose.  Any suggestions?

How much is that "little bit" of BTC? Sportsbetting sites do have minimum deposits.

Can't find any list and previous threads here regarding minimum deposits of any sites to somehow sort your concern, but my advice is, once you already selected your preferred gambling site, check their minimum deposit. It should appear on the deposit page or much better, post a query on their ANN thread here in this forum if any. No need to contact the support but you can also consider it.
2982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 25, 2021, 09:13:22 PM
Reymart Gaballo is looks strong, because the opponents are weak . This match is going to test Gaballo's skill, at this age we can't say that he is slow. On the other hand, Donaire  lost to Naoya Inoue on 7th November 2019 by unanimous decision in their WBA Super World Bantamweight While Gaballo looks strong his hits are lacking in accuracy.

Weak? But all of his opponents were within his same class therefore they are all in their comfort zone but it just happened that Gaballo defeated them all. It's still hard to reach a clean 24 wins record with 95% of those wins being thru Knock Out win.

What accuracy do you mean? Punch landed stats? Can you share your analysis here with stats?
2983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 25, 2021, 09:09:28 PM
It seems that Logan isnt still contented on how much he did get on that Conor fight? And now we are seeing that he do set up some fight again against with the greatest boxer? LOL!!!!!!!!

Don't have any idea about Conor and Logan but did they fight before?

What event where Logan Paul did get much money from any related event with Conor? If I remember it right, it was just a plan but never got pushed.

And now we are seeing that he do set up some fight again against with the greatest boxer? LOL!!!!!!!!

Actually, it's not just Logan Paul but since Mike Tyson also participates in that, it means everything was just for pure entertainment.
2984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 25, 2021, 09:01:24 PM

It should be obvious that before, it's hard for the majority to play online because of few methods and lack of convenience compared to today. The technology of course becomes better while its progress.

Online betting is not always crypto betting. Fiat betting nowadays is also convenient to most people where deposits and withdrawals are instant and quick. The same goes for the advantages we are experiencing in crypto betting.

About privacy, it should also be obvious that any fiat-related transaction, especially if the bank account was linked thru a gambling site, it requires KYC. It was already common in fiat betting. In crypto, it should be not but let's accept the fact that maybe someday, a hard regulation might also reach the crypto-gambling site and KYC might be imposed. But for sure, it will only ask depending on the account status like big withdrawals, etc.
2985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New York launches RFP for new casinos rising the taxation to 64% on: October 25, 2021, 08:51:51 PM

As far as the article is concerned, the 64% tax just applied to online sports betting and not on the usual casino games on land-based casinos.

Don't know how the setup of land-based casinos is there but maybe there is part of it where gamblers can place bets online right at the casinos. People should not overreact to the figure of 64% without seeing the whole "tax matrix", breakdown, and what is covered regarding taxation.
2986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 25, 2021, 08:44:33 PM

Just to change the discussion regarding officiating, I like to point out the adjustment (or I considered it as a test strategy) that Magnolia did during Game 3.

We all know that no guards or any forwards from Magnolia can keep up with the phase of how TNT's Mikey Williams is playing. Magnolia is having a hard time how to stop his dominance. In their Game 3 win, M. Williams was still able to produce 39 big points for the TNT despite a loss. That's not a usual production for any players in the league with consistency.

During the 4th Quarter, Magnolia assigned the veteran Rafi Reavis to guard the unstoppable M. Williams, and guess what, he only shot 1 out of 5 attempts from the rainbow area. Effective or not, looks like Reavis is able to slow down him although just for a single quarter.
2987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 24, 2021, 06:52:34 AM
I wanted to see this fight and Myke will not respect it if ever the fight is fixed and decided to knockout Logan Paul in a single hit. Myke Tyson is unpredicted and Logan Paul should not take that easily because the guy is the real bad boy in boxing history. even though he is already old, he can still knock anyone out when he releases that power punches.

Let's take note that the fight is an exhibition match. There is no sense to me that this fight will meet the expectation of the community. It's like entertainment as it was supposed to be. Nowhere we can see serious punch here. If trashtalk will be thrown by both parties prior to the fight, surely it was for hype and making a noise.

There's no way this fight will be serious. We should have already learned from the past exhibition match especially regarding a person that just got into boxing.

We can't apply the "Tale of the Tape" here regarding the match.
2988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: October 24, 2021, 06:40:43 AM

I'm not sure if this had been asked before. This is just an example of some odds that I saw recently Fighter A (1.30) vs Fighter B (3.65). With this obviously, Fighter A is the people's champ and Fighter B is the underdog.

Regardless of who is bigger and undefeated record, let's say you have no idea who these fighters are because the names can't even be read like Ulshrkubyki vs Ykwehgyfvbh. If you only have $10 left in your sports betting account, would you go for the champ which you can only earn $3, or go for the underdog which if he got lucky can triple your money?

$10? In most cases, I always bet that amount left on high odds especially in live betting where you can see mostly odds over @10. It's like throwaway money for me so not taking seriously my bet. So go ahead, bet that $10 on high odds since like you have mentioned, let's say we don't have an idea about the match. I'm always like that when a small amount happened to be left in my gambling site's account.

But if I go serious mode and of course, it's not a $10 bet, I always take lots of considerations before placing a bet on high odds. For the record, I'm an enthusiast of high odds and there are lots of settled bets already that I was able to win with high odds.
2989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 24, 2021, 06:35:23 AM
What do you think guys? are they capable of getting into the playoffs after winning this game?

A one-game can't decide the overall outcome.

Regarding their chance to make it on the playoffs, can't conclude right away as we have only seen roughly 2-3 games played by teams this season. For the record, Memphis Grizzlies always finished at the bottom of the standing in the competitive Western Conference. They got into playoffs last year but go thru via play-in tournament. Unfortunately, got eliminated by the Utah Jazz in the first round and only manage to get 1 win. Take note, prior to that, their last playoffs appearance was way back in 2017. That's how they struggle in Western Conference.

LA Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies has started I wanted to see another dunk like this.

Don't worry. You will see lots of dunk highlights like that courtesy of Ja Morant throughout the season.

2990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 24, 2021, 06:22:17 AM
Bulls are playing great basketball therefore I'll back them against the Pistons although they are in a back to back game.

The odds which is Bulls -9 make me believe that they will again have another easy win and that the high odds will be covered without a problem.

Good luck everyone!

Damn this Chicago Bulls. They are playing great so far and it seems their newly acquired players are been a teammate for a long. Their chemistry is already solid. From starters to the bench, everyone is contributing. The ball always rotates and there is not much isolation plays that focus on one player. Everyone should be defended properly or else a sure bucket whether outside or in the paint. They are now undefeated since the pre-season and they destroyed most of their opponents by a large lead right from the early phase of the game.

This team is undoubtedly one of the competitive teams in the Eastern Conference. Looks like Chicago Bulls fans will now see their team in the playoffs. Their last playoffs appearance was in the 2016-17 Season on which they lost in First Round.
2991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 24, 2021, 06:13:49 AM
I doubt a trilogy would happen if one of the parties always avoids the potential fight. It will be very entertaining of course. GGG and Canelo are two of the best fighters who could give each other the best of fights. It's just unfortunate that Canelo seems not interested with a rematch when their business is not yet actually over. He may have won according to two judges' score cards in their first rematch but the boxing fans are clamoring for a second rematch because it was never a clear win for him. A lot of boxing fans are ever thinking it was GGG's game.

GGG is open for a trilogy but Canelo is not interested anymore saying he already won the series and no need for another fight. But if he will look into the massive requests from the community, I hope it will change his mind and fight for one last time against GGG.

But before anything else and proceeding on that discussion, he should settle properly first with Caleb Plant. Although he is seen as the Favorite to win the match, we should not consider that as an easy win for Canelo.
2992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 24, 2021, 06:01:40 AM
I'm with you mate, Terence Crawford is nowhere near the footsteps of the boxing legend Manny Pacquaio. The Filipino boxer has taught most of the famous Mexican fighters like Barrera, dela Hoya, Marquez, and Morales not to mess with him. And surely Pacquiao made a huge steps on his career just to be the only boxer who holds 8th division world championship.

Crawford is also an aspiring professional boxer who wants to carve his name in the boxing industry. But given his age, we can't compare him for a bit with Manny Pacquiao.

We should not compare the success between Manny Pacquiao and Terence Crawford.

It's just unfortunate that Crawford didn't have a chance to stand up against popular boxers in his prime. That's one he always wanted even before but I don't know why his promoter didn't work on that. Even he has a good credential of simultaneously winning titles within WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO, he still unable to take part in fighting on a big main event with the same level as Pacquiao's main event.
2993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 24, 2021, 04:00:22 AM
So it would be a professional bout based on his own words

Quote
Paul, 26, said in August that he knew who his next opponent was but couldn't reveal the name, although he suggested it would be a professional bout.

if the fight push through and it's not an exhibition match, Paul is in big trouble Tyson base don what we've seen in his last bout still packs a lot of power and he is still accurate in his punches, Tyson may be old but this is a short distance fight and Tyson can knock him out in the early rounds, let's see the development of this bout I'd like to see the formal and official announcement.

There's no way this match will be turned into a professional one. Mike Tyson already sealed his boxing record and later matches will be for exhibition. He accepts getting back into the ring because of the charity event. As he mentioned, "This is better than fighting for championships".

Not feel excited or thrilled about this match. Remember that Logan Paul's last exhibition turned out to be a staged one and guess what, no winner was announced. I don't know what Mike Tyson is thinking but if it's again for charity (no mention in the article though), then I will support his initiative.
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is it difficult to apply TA on altcoins with low marketcap on: October 24, 2021, 03:19:59 AM
Then I started thinking and wondering, why is it difficult to apply technical analysis to coins with low market caps. unlike bitcoin and other major altcoins whose movements are still predictable. Altcoins with low market caps are difficult and even impossible to predict. whether this is all related to manipulation or there are other reasons that make it difficult to predict.

So you mean to say that bitcoin and any other major altcoins are easy to predict? I think you end up thinking like that because you don't have a good run analyzing the altcoin's behavior. After all, it's just common not to predict easily the movements of some low cap market cap coins since they don't have a decent trading volume in the first place so what do you expect?

And besides, 90% of traders I believed are trading with their instinct and TA are secondary and will just act as a reference.

Anyways, what coins are you referring to that can consider having a low market capitalization?
2995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 24, 2021, 03:09:28 AM
IMO, the officials need to help by rigging the game so TNT will be in foul trouble and Magnolia will continue to attack using their advantage. If you notice the series between the Magnolia vs Meralco, it was Magnolia who looks unbeatable then suddenly Meralco won a game without Almazan and I think there's were the fixed happened, the series end in the score of 4-2.

I don't see any benefits if the league will extend the series. They are just getting viewers on the web. There's no paid gate entrance compared to before when they are hitting up to 17,000 to 19,000 live audience on the event place so extending the series is necessary. Magnolia will now feel pressure next game and I think it will somehow boost their aggressiveness to stay focused as losing the next game will now give them a slim chance to snatch the PBA All-Filipino title.

The same scenario always at TNT, if they got the lead by 10 points at any phase of the game, it's now hard to bounce back. That's what Magnolia should try to avoid again and again.
2996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 24, 2021, 02:58:42 AM
Anyway, those who bet on Gaballo must definitely have a huge risk to gamble, while betting on Donaire could be a more comfortable bet.
I honestly still confused on whether to bet on Gaballl or not   Cheesy

I'm not thinking that way. Gaballo is a rising star and if bettors will place a bet on him, it's worth betting and not actually can be considered as a huge risk. Donaire's experience and firepower can't be ignored and even at this age, he can still explode but it doesn't mean he has all the advantages on that match.

In terms of betting, there's no comfort bet whether you bet on Donaire and Gaballo. I don't see Donaire as a Favorite nor Gaballo as an underdog. The latter just becomes an underdog because of Donaire's experience. Gaballo's 24 KOs out of 20 matches should not be treated as an easy task just because most of his opponents are far from being popular.

I'm not with Gaballo to win but I'm sure he will give the veteran Donaire a close match and possibly an upset.
2997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 24, 2021, 02:46:24 AM

So let's say, what if the Lakers won against the Grizzlies? People will now say there's now chemistry. Then if lose the next game, they don't have chemistry again and repeat...

My point here is, let's not assume right away what's happening on the Lakers just because of the current status of their run. We can somehow give our wild and fearless forecast maybe after the All-Star where it marked the halfway of the NBA season.

The Lakers veterans already know what's happening and they are fully aware of what are things need to be done. But honestly, should not be a big deal. It's just that most people are eyes on them but I'm not even considering them as a team to beat. The majority of their core players are already past their prime. They are playing thru experience as their foundation.
2998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: October 24, 2021, 02:35:53 AM
Have you used the platform from Newscripto and what do you think about the platform assistants in crypto trading?

Checking and browsing the platform, I will assume they are good and will help newbies in terms of basic trading and fundamentals.

For a start, users can just use the basic tier, free and no-cost. While advancing the knowledge, users can opt-in to purchase the Professional tier (starting at $14 in NWC tokens/month) but sound not necessary for me unless users really want to fully take advantage of the platform's service.
2999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have the potential for growth? on: October 24, 2021, 02:23:03 AM
Anyone who has been into cryptocurrency for a while knows that scaling is the number one priority for massive adoption to take place. This is why I paid attention to the development of a bridge between two giants - Polygon and Stellar. The development of this project will be carried out by NewsCrypto, which previously was engaged in the creation of educational content.

I think this is a good reason why all these coins should go up in value after the bridge is launched.

Nowadays, people are again hoping that other altcoins will follow in his footsteps, but there are no guarantees if we look at current market conditions.

If your research leads to a conclusion like that then just follow what you believe will happen. We have different preferences regarding what coins have the potential to grow more counting years from now that's why we have different projects on our list.

No one knows what will happen in the future so make sure to choose those projects that are active in the development and somehow, always keep in touch with the community. While at the same time, for advance users, we can play at those altcoins that are driven by the hype and make sure to have a good exit strategy once we anticipate that a rug pull is now close from happening.
3000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to list my altcoin on: October 24, 2021, 02:13:06 AM
I have created altcoin from Bitcoin source code. I would like to list this, but I would like to know the specific steps. Please give me some sources of information.

For a much better and accurate response, I suggest contacting your preferred exchange. Specific steps might now be changed over time.

They should provide you with all the information you need regarding listing including the cost.
