I'm glad to see the dev team switch over to PoS and MN as PoS helps support the GTM network and makes it more secure from these types of attacks and also it can bring in the PoS crowd which there is a lot of them out there now days as PoS is very popular with a lot of people. I think the dev team have made the right decision with PoS switch.
It's good in general, for both the project and investors.
Nevertheless, there is at least one risky stuff, potentially higher inflation rate due to PoS.
Anyway, during the last several days, it's amazing to witness the power of Gentarium that has stood solidly despite of terrible downs of crypto market.

I think the inflation rate will remain low as PoS will only earn 2 GTM per stake from what I last heard, not sure if it has changed but if it stays like this then I think we will be fine. Gentarium is the largest masternode platform when it comes to hosted nodes and I think its only a matter of time before we see it have the most value as well.

How about swap ratio?
And how long will it last?
Lastly, will KYD be rebrand after the swap or not?

I'm sure the swap ratio will be 1:1 as they are mainly doing this to stop the hacker from dumping his coins. Not sure how long it will last as there hasn't been any details on this yet. I'm thinking that they might do a re-brand or improvements to their KYD platform for verification's which is similar to a re-brand so lets just wait and see what happens.

Hello, I believe it is around 8 hours or so before your coins become mature for staking. Now depending on how many coins you have staking will depend on when you will stake. If you have around 20k staking you should expect a stake in around 2-5 days as the network weight has increased a lot over the past few months as the coin price has come down which gives more people a chance to buy and stake. There is a discord server for RAIN, just go back a few pages and you'll find the link.

100 RAIN?
I'm searching the link

I'm sorry to say that 100 rain could takes years to stake unless you are very lucky and stake. If you want to stake regularly then I would suggest you try and get at least 5k to 10k rain. That way you will most likely stake once or twice each week. The more Rain you have staking the more chance you have at earning rewards.

@vella85 - That's the only viable reason that I understand as well. I mean there will be big money coming from it will be pump $3 million, but the money will be coming from someone whose not even involved in the sports (Gerard Pique, through his company Kosmos, a footballer) which makes it harder for Tennis fans and players to swallows. Anyways, if it will bring tons of money as sponsorship to rival Grand Slam tennis then I guess it will be for the good of the sports in the long run.

Yeah true my friend, Like we have said it is mostly for the money however like you mentioned if the Davis cup can become as big as the 4 Grand Slam tournaments then yes I think it would be good for tennis. I actually like Davis Cup tennis however it doesn't seem to be as big as it once was so this could also be why they are going to change the format of the Davis Cup. I think we just need to wait and see how it goes and hopefully it will be a success for tennis and the fans.
2986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 06, 2018, 10:09:04 PM
In the other test match going on right now, New Zealand are fighting back strong, they now have a lead of 78 runs with just 4 wickets down and Kane Williamson looking in good form. If New Zealand can get a 200+ run lead then I think they can go on and win this test match.

IMO, this match is probably heading towards a draw. Tomorrow is the last day of the match and almost half of the batting of New Zealand is still remaining (they're most probably not even thinking of declaring the inning) and full inning of Pakistan is also yet to be played.

OTOH, Yasir Shah broke the 82-year-old record... Wink

Yasir Shah fastest to 200 Test wickets, breaks 82-year-old record

http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/25466518/yasir-shah-fastest-200-test-wickets-breaks-82-year-old-record

Yeah its looking like it will become a draw unless New Zealand try and get another 50 to 80 runs fast in the morning session to get a 250 run lead and then put Pakistan into bat and see how they go. It will be tough to defend on a 5th day pitch and Pakistan could crumble like they have in the past. I think right now New Zealand is the only team to win this match or the draw.

I actually like the new website as it looks much better then the first site. HotShot is a long term project so in time the team can continue to improve things like the website and other developments but for now I think this new site is good enough. I'm looking forward to seeing the DEX exchange launch which could be very soon. By the way staking is still going well for me as I earn a few stakes daily with 10k coins.

The new look Solaris website looks great! I really like the new colour scheme with the blue and yellow. This bear market won't stop good long term projects like Solaris and this is why I will continue to hold long term as I believe the market will recover in the near future and once txbit is fully launched we could see the Solaris price start to move up.

India are 9/250 which isn't a very big total however Australia bowled very well today and I would have them just in front at this stage of the game. It will be interesting to see how Australia bat on this pitch as it did look like the ball was slow coming onto the bat. A nice century by Pujara which has kept India in this test match.

Croatia have won their second ever Davis Cup title after Marin Cilic beat Lucas Pouille in straight sets to give Croatia a 3-1 lead over hosts and defending champions France which meant Croatia already won with the final match being a dead rubber. Croatia last won the Davis Cup in 2005 so it was good to see them win it again after 13 years. Next year the format for the Davis Cup will change so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

I really can't believed that after 118 years, they finally decided to change the format. As for Croatia, they come closed in 2016 but this time they can't be denied and finally raised the trophy after 13 years.  If you still remembered, they are up 2-1 against Argentina in 2016 and had high hopes that they can be the eventual champion. So its like Cilic is having a de javu again, up 2-1 against France but this time its "no history repeating itself", as Cilic beats Lucas Pouille convincingly.

Well this time Croatia got one up over the French, its like they wanted to get this win to make up for the loss to France in the World Cup earlier this year. I'm sure that Cilic and the other players made their country proud winning the Davis Cup and making up for their countries loss in the World Cup. I know its not as big as football but at least they won something for their country.

LOL, I totally forgot the World Cup rivalry between the two. Grin. Indeed France beat them this year so this is like a revenge and at least them gave them something for their country to be proud of.

What can you say about the change in format though? the "a home-or-away qualifying round", I read that a lot of players (past and present) opposes this new plan, but still the organizers pushes thorough.

I also forgot until I saw a video on YouTube about the world cup and then I remembered that it was played between France and Croatia and that France won. Anyway it was nice to see Croatia win and give their country something to be happy about.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of these changes either as why change something that has been working well for a long time. Its all to do with money now and sponsorship deals so I guess that's why we will see the change in 2019 which is a shame.

This new wallet version is causing problems for me, I keep getting the wallet say not responding which I never had before this version. I also noticed that the blocks were showing minus blocks which was not normal. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same issues?

Glacier platform will offer people the chance to earn some money by doing what a lot of us are already doing and that is posting, blogging and creating content. Once the platform launches we will be able to do all this and be able to earn some GLPM.

I think its too early to say that Australia will win this test match, remember the Australian batting line up isn't as strong as in the past with Smith and Warner out of the team. Like I have been saying a lot in this thread, for Australia to win the series they will need to rely more on their bowlers then ever before as their batting line up is weak. Australia are on top right now, if they can get India all out for under 200 runs then Australia can really take their time to pile on the runs and try and get a big 1st innings lead. The session after the tea break will be interesting to see if India can survive a full day.
2995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 05, 2018, 09:20:52 PM
Once again Pakistan's tail order batsman have let them down as they looked set to score 400+ runs however New Zealand were able to restrict them to just 348 runs which now gives them a chance to get a lead and really put the pressure back on Pakistan. If New Zealand can get a lead of 180+ runs then I think they are in with a big chance of winning this test match and winning the series.

The big test series starts today between Australia and India, Australia have made a couple of changes with the biggest one of all with Mitch Marsh being left out of the team for the 1st test. This is going to be a great series to see if India can finally win a test series in Australia.

we are looking forward to the opening of Deposit and withdrawal crypto-bridge! I like this project and I would like to put a masternode, but how to withdraw coins from the exchange? When will you guys solve this problem?

Withdrawals and deposits will re-open once the team have completed the coin swap. Right now we know that they have finished up tests on the new wallet and blockchain so we should get the new wallet release very soon and then we can start to swap our coins. I'm thinking that they will give people a few weeks to swap so I'm thinking that CB deposits and withdrawals won't be opened until the end of December or early January 2019.

I have noticed that another signature campaign managed by Lutpin has already been paid, and yet we still haven't received any update about the current situation.
I'll be handing over the campaign to a new manager within the next days. You'll hear more from him once the transfer is finalized.

8b8e84e8395dfe83e834a5237a26849a44319e61a1d7f12b6298c1ac6881e11b
Is that already our payment? I think there is something wrong about the post count. Please double check this. We already have been work for over a month now.
The same with me. I should have been paid 0,001 BTC more, at least, not counting bonus posts. In relation to "more than a month" - it has been two months already, less a day or two.

The only thing I can think of right now is that this payment was for just 1 month and once the new campaign manager comes on board the next months payment will be paid and then we should be up to date. I could be wrong but I'm guessing this is what has happened as also there wasn't enough funds for the 2 months to be paid.

Thanks for the update!

I was having trouble trying to get my Nullex wallet to sync for a couple of days now, I even did a couple of re-syncs of the blockcahin and it worked for that time but the next time I opened up the wallet it wouldn't sync again. I believe the team can get this DMRS to work but not right now, maybe in the new year we'll see this come to life.
3000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: December 05, 2018, 08:57:18 PM
I first saw advertisements mentioning BTC when I used to participate in rev share programs in 2014. But at the time I didn't really look into BTC until a friend of mine mentioned it to me in December 2014 and that's when I decided to look more into BTC and then started to work with faucets to build up my BTC and then I started trading in small amounts. So that is basically how I heard about Bitcoin.
