2981  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon will ship 290 units by tomorrow, correct? on: March 05, 2013, 08:36:03 PM
Wouldn't it be nice if by March 10th, 2013, Yifu would send all 600 Units :3? One can dream.

He could be doing just that.  Busting ass to ship 300 units by the 10th correctly.

I can only hope.

Ship all units for great justice.

It won't happen... We will see batch 2 mid April.
I don't think to be pessimist, why do everyone here think they will become rich fast? (Irony!)

Just like I don't know, you don't either.  So why not just wait and see what happens rather and throwing salt over and over again?
Because while I have a big batch 2 order I don't act like everyone else here. I'm realist.

Acting like everyone else doesn't mean you "have" to complain.  I have a large order as well, so we are in the same boat.   Not point this at you, but much of the discontent is partly to do with where bitcoin prices are at the the profits people expect.  Its just greed coming out in another way.   You are just going to have to sit and wait and when it arrives, you can gauge you performance based on the risk you took.   Just accept it and move on until new information comes in.

I actually do, I have no problems with that at all.
If you want a point I argue people that think will receive their batch 2 order on the 15 of march Wink

Have a nice ride everyone! (I was a bear until 35).

È decisamente una bolla, avete ragione secondo me Smiley

Ciao!
2990  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am about to do something massivley stupid on: March 05, 2013, 03:18:25 PM
The biggest problem you have here is that if you need to go all in, you need to do it right now, not next week.
You will be forced to invest during the time, that is not necessarily a bad thing.

Good luck!

I admit that i'm under a huge dosage of caffeine and that i wanted to laugh when i decided to go to look at the source of the website.

Code:
<html>

<head>
<meta name=Title content="primeAsic - 80 GigaHash ASIC miner for BitCoin">
<meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html">
<title>primeAsic - 80 GigaHash ASIC miner for BitCoin</title>

<strong>&#8364;1249</strong></font></p>
<p align=center><font size=6>Website is Under Construction<br>
It will be live today (Mon, 04/MAR/2013)</font></p>
<p align=center><font size=6 color=green>Product is IN STOCK! No Pre-Orders or delays!</font></p>

2993  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch 1- Who got tracking? on: March 04, 2013, 08:43:03 PM
They said the would start shipping today and that they would start giving out the tracking 3 days later.
2994  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My Impression of Avalon Machine (cooling info updated) on: March 04, 2013, 08:42:10 PM
Is there a way to configure a failover gateway in this build of openWRT?
You better use something like zeroshell as your gateway and configure multiple upstreams on a fail over setup.
It's the way my home network works (well, a bit harder than this, i load balance my upstream via some magic called VPN bounding, a layer 3 stuff if i recall correctly).
2995  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 04, 2013, 02:59:21 PM
I call this a scam.

If it was real, it wouldn't make sense to sell the devices instead of mining with it. The only counter argument was if they had a million of devices to sell, but they claim them to be in limited quantity.

If they tried to sell it for 5000€ each I could have belived it not to be a scam.
2996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Medium term forecast for US$ / BTC price. on: March 04, 2013, 09:45:45 AM
Do you not think that the mechanism by which btc become available has an effect the price?

Also, the worst case scenario is not 144 surplus coins per day. Depending on the amount of hashrate added it could be more than that.
I think it has, but not at the level you are predicting. What are 100 or 1000 bitcoins on sale on a market that is at least one order of magnitude bigger, and sometimes 2?
2997  Economy / Speculation / Re: Medium term forecast for US$ / BTC price. on: March 04, 2013, 09:31:14 AM
So an increase of 3600BTC/day worst case of available coins, not on sale coins, on a market that does at least 36kBTC every day, should do something?
2998  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 03, 2013, 11:38:51 PM
We have a problem here. We have a real company.

Of course that doesn't prove they have working ASICs, but it's more confidence inspiring than the total opacity of many Bitcoin enterprises.

And this is somehow scaring! I really liked the way you said it, your wording, btw..

I'm only 800km away, I could drive the whole night and reach them tomorrow, to be their first client and do the affair of my life.

But I think I will simply go to sleep and follow this drama tomorrow with a truck of popcorn.
2999  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: NVC on: March 03, 2013, 11:34:33 PM
You come here talking about brainwash when you are trying to impose a new coin buying your friends at btc-e and when the only reason you are doing this is to rebuy the underpriced LTC you sold at 0.0015..
Abstractum pro concreto. (с) I thought that it's information thread, not trolling one. There is already enough sectarian garbage, isn't it? Cheesy

Let's take a closer look at the facts. You didn't try to investigate who made this picture and why he did it. I think it's pretty funny, are you agree? I'll try to explain this using simpler words... You allowed someone to manipulate by your own opinion. Blessed are those who believe, as we say.

The biggest difference between us is that you waste your time, because you prefer the conspiracy theories, ignoring the basic principles of "reasonable sufficiency".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_razor

There are many more simple ways to do what you said. And as any other reasonable man, I'm able to choose the optimal way. Without new cryptocurrency/bribes/martian's invasion/whatever.

Maybe you can't understand this, but why should I care about it?  Smiley And tip for the future... Overestimate is the sign of getting fucked up. You need to be more realistic in your decisions and statements. Do not judge people by your own thoughts, because this can expose your true self.
