2981  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 29, 2021, 11:46:59 AM
It is really not easy to catch the dip levels and not to miss those chances. Because we don't know what price the dip is for a coin. We just want to make use of the chance when the coin price decreases at a high rate. For example, I guess many people bought Bitcoin when the price was at $30k. It was a good opportunity to accumulate after a big dump. Some people wanted to wait more and expected a bigger drop. But that didn't happen and they missed it.

Those “dip levels” are there during bear markets, but many people don’t take those golden opportunities to buy. Open a Bitcoin chart and zoom out to the maximum. Do you see it? We are given two years in every cycle to buy the lowest or near-lowest dip for that cycle.

I wish it's easy for everyone of us to spot the lowest price. Since that's the cycle, would this mean that we will soon see a long bear period since the market is still bullish until now? We saw bitcoin dip at $28k, but that was not brought by a long bear market, it's just a short correction that resulted in an easy bounce-back of price.
2982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano really reach 20$+ near end of year? on: August 29, 2021, 09:03:59 AM
I've been seeing many price speculations on ADA. Some say that its impossible due to market cap and some say it has so much potential to do it. What would be the sensible valuation you think it could be near end and why?

I think the popularity of the market is indeed Cardano right now, their assessment may be different because the speculation on the price of Cardano is very different from day to day, but for me that's what they say is wrong.

It's really impossible if we don't believe bitcoin and ETH would pump 10x to 50x of its current price now. If we let Carnado pump while coins that are on top of it are struggling, that means Cardano will be on the top, and bitcoin and ETH will go down. This is impossible for now because we are based on the current price of the leading coins, but if eventually, the market will continue to grow, we might see some major growth that we are not expecting now.
2983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 29, 2021, 08:35:00 AM
It is true that he knows how to pick his challengers because they're in the different fighting sport.
I won't call it he's good to pick his opponent, because he's not even a professional boxer too. He's mainly a youtuber, social media influencer and actor, we can say Jake Paul or NBA and MMA fighters are same which doesn't have any experience in boxing. That's why those NBA and MMA fighters agreed to fight with Jake Paul, they they could beat him. Both parties must agreed to sign a contract, it's not only from Jake Paul side agrees and then the other parties resignedly accept it.
I agree with that part because he's taking those opponents that are not really into boxing so there's still picking that happens.

While him, he may not be a professional boxer but he has somehow background on it.

I believe deep inside, he's picking opponents that he has the advantage of and has the chance to easily win. What he may be after is if the opponent can fetch good amount of money. So he's looking at the figures and how much noise it will create from the boxing fans. Don't know how long he can continue exhibition fights but so far, it is still gaining buyers of tickets.
Those opponents that will sign with him for sure will get also tons of money. They won't be up for a fight with a youtuber if there are no loads of cash that are at stake.

He knows what to do and makes a huge profit out of it.

Money always involves that's why a fight happens, against Jake Paul, he will surely get the bigger slice of the cake since he is the superstar and probably the one who choose whom he will negotiate to fight him.

Kawa said that Woodley’s base guarantee “is in the millions, already,” though he did not elaborate on the specifics of his pay. While there has been no official number denoted for Woodley’s payout, Evening Standard reported that Woodley “is expected to bank a minimum of $500,000” versus Paul.

Woodley is guaranteed $500k ,so most probably Jake Paul makes at least 1 million in this fight.
2984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a GOOD or BAD time to invest? on: August 28, 2021, 09:10:14 PM
Bitcoin has dropped a bit after reaching 50$ mark so I feel it is a pretty good time to invest some amount in bitcoin. But it can go down even more so I recommend investing small amount now and wait and if it falls even more than invest more on it.
With the price of Bitcoin going down I think this is indeed our opportunity to buy,
investing in bitcoin certainly does not need to hesitate because we can make a profit from it,
apart from that it all comes back to each other's decisions
I don't see it going down, it's actually recovering now because the market trend is bullish. Maybe the price now is lower than its ATH which is $64k, so if you think it will break its current ATH, then there's no problem in buying bitcoin at $50k. My thoughts on the current situation is I'm riding with the short term movement but not to accumulate for the long term as I'm waiting for a lower price which I believe I would see soon.
2985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big sad on: August 28, 2021, 08:48:47 PM
That's why focus is really important when you are investing, however, you should still be thankful if you made a profit selling 2/3 of your investment. Just remember that although Cardano's price is very high now, there's still an opportunity to buy it when the price will dip which I'm sure will certainly happen in the future.
2986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano really reach 20$+ near end of year? on: August 28, 2021, 12:41:53 PM
No one will be sure what the value of ADA can achieve, it is priced from the market basis.  ADA trends are pretty good for their own smart contract development news.  That hit a huge volume for ADA the past 2 weeks.  It's an impressive development on their promise.  But hitting $20 this year is really unlikely.  If institutional investors decide to integrate into ADA then based on market trend it could hit $8 I guess

That's a big dream that is unlikely to happen, you know, when we make a target price, we should not only consider the movement of ADA, but also the movement of other major altcoins and most especially bitcoin, because if bitcoin is bearish, then most probably ADA would just follow the trend.
2987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 28, 2021, 12:19:33 PM
Been reading the rumors about Kevin Love. But some analysts just created the speculation of him possibly going to the Lakers. There are no official statements nor hints, rumors, speculations coming from the Lakers themselves or a credible source on that possibility.

If that will become true, there is no other team where Kevin Love fits but only the Los Angeles Lakers. He is even more valuable and productive to me compare to Carmelo Anthony or to any veterans on the Lakers.

If the Lakers can keep Melo, he would be a big help to the team. Imagine, the Lakers have the talented big men that have won a championship in their career. They will have Gasol, Davis, Dwight Howard,  and now Kevin Love.

Maybe someone has to go, and if this rumor will happen, then we might not see Gasol in Lakers uniform.

This Lakers-Pelicans Trade Is Centered Around Marc Gasol
2988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: August 27, 2021, 09:48:52 PM
That would become your gambling activities more complicated because you are also trading at the same time, I'm afraid you might lose your focus. Actually, if we want to really focus, then we should just use a stable coin with a cheaper transaction fee, for now, the best stable coin is USDT (TRON).

My only concern is not all gambling sites have supported USDT (TRON) as part of the payment system.

Volatility has always accompanied cryptocurrencies. There is nothing new here. Since the first Bitcoin casino, this has been our reality, and it's part of what makes crypto gambling so much fun. When I think about how much Dogecoin I've gambled in the past ...  Grin

If you are looking for stable currencies, why not use fiat-based casinos? I'm sure there are plenty of them online.

There's always a choice to go with fiat sportsbook, but if you'll ask me, I would rather go with crypto gambling sites that do not require KYC and just use a stable coin to gamble if I don't like the volatility in the market. We choose to gamble here because we want to keep our privacy and it will not happen with fiat casinos as they are fully regulated and your transaction can easily be trace since you are required to pass the KYC requirement before you can start.

Crypto gambling made gamble easy, even kids nowadays can use crypto to bypass the age requirement, so whether we use bitcoin or a stable coin, this is still the place where we enjoy 100% freedom.
2989  Other / Off-topic / Pacquiao vs Ugas rematch on: August 27, 2021, 10:53:32 AM
It seems like Manny Pacquiao is still interested on the rematch.

This news came up and we might see a rematch early next year.

https://www.foxsports.com.au/boxing/boxing-manny-pacquiao-vs-yordenis-ugas-rematch-latest-news-reaction-dates/news-story/a375d046b5266f71734a83fc998ddd06

Quote
Pacquiao, 42, told The Athletic website that he may consider fighting Ugas again in January following his unanimous decision loss to the 35-year-old in Las Vegas on Saturday.

“Yes, I can come back in January. I will see about it,” Pacquiao told the website. “I know I can rematch him if I want. I’ll just need to tell (promoter) Al Haymon. That would be no problem.” Ugas said in the aftermath of his win on Saturday, where he clinically picked off Pacquiao from long range to score a deserved victory, that he would be willing to offer the eight-division world champion a rematch.

He wants to fight because he thinks he was not able to give his 100% in that fight, his legs were tight so he was not able to move well like he usually do in his previous fight, and we all witness that, so maybe let's give him a chance.

Please post some updates and speculation regarding the fight so this thread will be more informative.
2990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 27, 2021, 10:11:43 AM
Dudley seems a little bummed about not getting another run with the Lakers as a player. I did hear that he’s close to signing a contract with the Dallas Mavericks to be an assistant coach of some sort. I think that’s probably a better role for him, but I was surprised to read quotes from him talking about how the Lakers were making a mistake not resigning him as a player… I think he was probably kidding.
He had two seasons with the Lakers and we almost did not see him play.
he played less than 10 minutes in average and produce 1 point average for the last two seasons.

I'm not sure why the Lakers are not using him very well, he is not in his retirement age yet and this guy can shoot.
2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of cryptocurrencies are fraudulent on: August 26, 2021, 09:16:04 PM
In a recent speech at the annual PNWER meeting held in Montana, Neil Kashkari, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, sharply criticized cryptocurrencies, stating that "95 percent of cryptocurrencies are fraud, deceptive advertising and noise," and he also said he had a more positive view of cryptocurrencies in 2015. Kashkari also referred to the large number of altcoins and called them "garbage coins."

In 2015 there were not many coins circulating in the crypto market. So the level of fraud is also still minimal compared to now. If you check the CMC story, there are about 500 coins, and no Tokens. It was only after the emergence of Ethereum, Tron and others with smart contract systems that more tokens appeared in the crypto market. Those who want to create tokens so easily do so. So this gives rise to a lot of fraud in cryptocurrency.

It started with the ETH tokens, that explodes in 2017 to early 2018 bull run, however, we can't blame that on ETH, but it should be the people who should be more educated to choose the legit among the scams in the space. People at that time think that whatever they buy will give them long-term profit, and though it happened to some coins like BNB which is an ETH token at that time, for most ETH tokens, that dream is not achievable anymore now.
2992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of cryptocurrencies are fraudulent on: August 26, 2021, 01:27:20 PM

Most of these scam projects are also built by the same scammers under different names and profiles. It's important that you can recognize some faces in the team before putting money into the project unless of course, they have a big market cap already.

Sometimes they don't put the same face, they just steal a different identity just to scam people. We should be aware that, if we are educated with these scams, we will likely succeed in investing as there's a lot of great projects that could potentially give our investors a good return.

New projects are risky, but if they succeed, you will enjoy a big profit, but it's still up to you if you are willing to gamble and how big the risk you are willing to take.
2993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 25, 2021, 09:47:53 PM
Stamina is also an issue too for Donaire but you can really see the tenacity of Inoue and able to adapt the said situation when he's fighting an experienced
boxer.
The adjustment that Inoue did in the fight was very impressive, he has a cut but it does not slowed him a bit.
Donaire is a one punch KO fighter, but he was not able to do that with Donaire, so he lose in the decision, a rematch would be nice so once in for all their rival will end, and probably it will make Donaire retire as he has nothing to prove anymore.

If ever there would be some possible rematch if Casimero wont sneak out for a fight then i would still stick with Inoue.
Inoue would always be the favorite, I would also go with Inoue if there's a rematch but it its against Casimero, I'm going with the bad guy.  Smiley
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of cryptocurrencies are fraudulent on: August 23, 2021, 09:14:48 PM
When it comes to being fraudulent, I'm not sure whether the percentage is that high. But I can say that at least 90% of the cryptocurrencies in the market are just garbage coins. They won't be able to maintain themselves for a very long time. Some day, they will disappear suddenly and the investors of those coins will be really sad about it. So, I don't trust majority of the market to be honest. I choose to invest into only the coins which are credible like Bitcoin, Ethereum etc..

Better be safe than sorry, invest in the major coins as they have a better success rate in the future.
New coins that have a small marketcap is a high-risk investment, there's a chance that you'll be scammed, but if you will be able to find the gem, it could probably change your life in the future.

That's why for me I also allocate a certain percent of my investment on new coins and I even created a thread about that, so I could get some suggestions to diversify my investment.

2995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 23, 2021, 08:41:33 PM
you can confirm that by searching in google, I did a quick search and have not found any information that Leonard will join the Spurs, and you are right, he just recently renewed his contract so there's no chance he can play in his old team. In addition to that, we have to remember that Leonard demanded a trade when he was still with the Spurs that's why he got traded to DeRozan, so it doesn't make sense that he will get back to the Spurs to play again.
Really ...I was wrong and I believe I misinterpreted this information.

Well, I believe Kawhi Leonard and PG are still excellent players and can make the Los Angeles Clippers a strong and competitive team (with little chance of being champions of course).

But for your chances to increase I believe it is necessary for the Clippers to bring another excellent player to join the team!!

Who would that player be?

For some teams to be successful, they needed a big 3 but the Clippers at the moment have no big 3.
I guess they need a good center, a dominant one and they'll be a good championship contender IMO.

If they only have Drummond who already sign with the 76ers, he could be a big help to increase their chances in the next season.

https://twitter.com/sixers/status/1422993293487521798/photo/1

They have 3 centers.

1. DeMarcus Cousins
2.Serge Ibaka
3. Ivica Zubac

Two of the centers particularly the number 1 and 2 are not anymore on their prime, and Serge Ibaka was injured and did not play in the playoffs, so they are really undermanned. Cousins as well are prone to injury so he is only getting few minutes.

maybe if they can get a center that are in the list from this https://www.insider.com/ranked-best-centers-nba-joel-embiid-nikola-jokic-2021-4, they could very much compete in the playoffs.
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you suggest a small marketcap project with high potential? on: August 23, 2021, 08:05:51 PM
Hello there, stadus here looking to invest in a low marketcap project with a potential to give folds of profit in the future.

I'm just inspired by those who invested in start-up and made x10 to x100 profit in just a short period of time.

Please suggest certain projects with some basic information or details, I like to know the following information.

Bitcoin talk ANN Thread
Social Media accounts links.
i am inspired by a Legendary account who has been in the cycle for almost 6 years yet willing to learn such thing , about how to find or what to invest for the future .

will be Booking mark this thread as i am also looking for potential project that only requires small capital so at least risking such amount will not cause me big trouble no matter what happened in the investment process.

Thanks, though I have a legendary account I am still willing to learn, I must stay I made some good profit in the past but that was all from old coins I invested way back in 2017. Now, I'm looking for new investment as I have some struggle in my real life business due to pandemic, hopefully crypto will once again makes me financially free.

2997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: August 23, 2021, 06:40:20 PM
We have been waiting for a long time and now it has come true. After a long time, we saw above $500 again. Now there has been some pullback, it's priced around $495. If the trend continues in this way, we will exceed $500 in a few hours.
Those who want to invest should be a little more careful, we are in a risky time right now Smiley
for now bnb has already reached $500, so we have to be careful when buying it, if we look at the left side of the chart, we can see resistance in that area up to $600. but for long term investors I don't think this will be a problem, because later many people predict bnb can reach $ 1k, along with bitcoin's rise for now

It's necessary to be careful when the market is bullish as it could also turn the opposite side, but with Binance or BNB, I'm confident that this coin will not dump knowing their big influence in the market, if you see it dumping, there's nothing to worry as BNB is bound for success, so just focus on long term success then short term as the price could be very volatile.

$1000 is the next target now, the ATH was around $600, so we are so close and we just need another big push of bitcoin uptrend to make it happen.
2998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: August 23, 2021, 06:14:00 PM
But I think that Binance is hated for their recent changes in politics and all that "attack" from government and financial institutions.
Previously for a regular trader, trading limit of 2BTC/daily without passing KYC was more than enough. Now, after they reduced that to 0.06 BTC, start to force passing KYC or bribe (this week they give $500 voucher if a freshly registered users passes KYC). Also all that restrictions to use Binance in particular countries and Binance doing nothing against it. This all looks like they try hard to keep user funds on exchange, while risking their reputation. And we all know how such things might end. You have funds on exchange, and exchange is locked for unknow period.

Binance is hated by competitors because they feel like Binance had it easy and just escaped jurisdictions every time regulators started chasing them. Binance is hated by pure users because their CEO keeps talking about decentralization and ethics when he is the most centralized crypto business out there.

$500 vouchers for KYC? That's part of why they're hated. But you know, others did that too.

I wish I had not verified my account yet so I can enjoy that voucher amount, lol.

Actually, Binance got a lot of promotion and they are taking care of their reputation that's why they are way ahead against their competitor.
When they purchase CMC with a huge amount, we thought it was a crazy move but it turns out it really help them to grow more as they can use that advertisement to make the exchange more popular.

look at the disparity of the trading volume compared to other exchanges.

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

You can tell they are dominating the market.

2999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why reputable gambling sites closedown after some years of success. on: August 23, 2021, 05:43:11 PM
The competition is getting tougher, it's either they feel they can't compete anymore or they would pursue another field. The parting words are very positive, they are thankful and we are also happy to play with them as they are a reputable site.

We don't know if the reason they stated is the real reason, but we should not waste time finding out the specific reason as there's still a lot of gambling sites that could offer the same or even better experience these sites are offering.
3000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano really reach 20$+ near end of year? on: August 23, 2021, 12:21:38 PM
Am no sure if this appropriate but one thing is certain that Cardano had created an ATH this year so for me this is enough reason to celebrate as we are already in gains of more than x2 of our capital.
as asking for 20$ is bit too much for this year alone , but I think in the next halving of Bitcoin , ADA will make it there (if being maintained at least 2-5$ value this year and the next before halving)

Most likely because $20 means x10 of its current marketcap which is  $90 billion means it will increase to $900 billion which is similar to the marketcap of bitcoin now. With that, we can also assume that bitcoin will increase its price as it's unlikely for altcoins to rise when bitcoin is struggling, so in my estimated, bitcoin will be trading $200k to $300k that time, hope these things will happen but the likelihood of happening is quite low this year.
