2981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: February 25, 2022, 08:16:46 AM
This is one of the most risky times to enter the Crypto world, since BTC is not in a very good position at the moment. The position that has kept BTC in great support is still maintained, a very good time for those who can afford the risk.  Come on BTC will not cross its big support below 34000, BTC which will take a very long time to position the pump. Investors may have to wait a long time for big profits. Great time for long term investors.
Then, what are you supposed to say? Encourage people not to invest because of the hard times?

People won't succeed if they are afraid to take risks and those who have patience will certainly be getting paid off. If you think every drop meant not good for investing, well, you are not a real investor anyway. Because real investors will simply take a look like this is a good entry and every drop could be an opportunity.

The market will move in a very unpredictable way, we have to keep positive otherwise, we are missing some opportunities.

Honestly, the telegram group is having a huge number of scammers, talking to anyone from the group is not good, especially when talking about trading and money. And that if someone unknown person sends a message for you with that as the intention is obviously to scam.

It was needed for us to be more vigilant about what we are doing and those people we talk to. We can escape from being scammed if we are too careful as well and certainly, not to easily trust people online unless you both have a history of successful transactions. It is a need for us to widen our awareness and we only have to use legit exchanges if possible.
2983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold with ease on: February 24, 2022, 10:52:14 PM
Just hold, don't mind the price changes as the time that we are tracking the price daily becomes bothering, and the more it triggers to think about selling.

* Don't check the price daily
* make some fun of other stuff
* Don't rely on crypto alone (another source of income is way better)
* Set a plan or target year that you are committed to holding, not just a plan only

The success of holding depends on us literally.
2984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 24, 2022, 11:37:53 AM

Checking those lines, I'm eyeing for GSW, but I'll wait. ML and Handicap seem not interesting.
Maybe during live game it will change up, going to wait for something that will value my money. Tongue

The handicap is +7 for the Blazers,.. I think that's too high to cover considering the Warriors are not yet pretty dominant in the past games, but if you will take the ML, it's still not attractive too because they are -7, so most likely that will only be 1.20 or 1.30.. but you are right, get them during live, just hope that the Warriors will be down a double digit early so you'll get a good odds.
Curry though might have gain so much confidence with his shooting that we might end his worst shooting percentage for a month so I'm thinking that the Warriors can cover the spread.

Plus we all know that the Blazers are in a disarray right now, and still no Dame.

Of course, we love to go bet on live, lots of advantage, but a handicap might be good for Warriors to cover.

Curry does not need to gain any confidence, he already knows that he is the best shooter in the world, it's his teammates that have to gain confidence, the ball rotation should be well executed so he will have a lot of open looks and that will convert to easy basket.
2985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 24, 2022, 11:08:37 AM

I have nothing to say about how long the process will take, my point is that the judge should be fair.

In the Philippines, it will take forever, especially if the accused has enough money to fight for the case. However, this is not good for him if there's enough evidence to convince him, it's better to settle it the soonest so the problem will not get worst and will not distract his training.
2986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: February 24, 2022, 10:10:20 AM

Don't allow the challenges you experienced from crypto trading to make you quit crypto trading because such mistakes occurred for you to become a professional trader in future.
Trading isn't going well always, sometimes we suffer major losses that could even ask ourselves if we continue doing this or quit. I was in this situation before and even have the time to decide to quit, and I really did for just a few days as I was thinking that I can make things good if I have to give focus on my trades. Fortunately, I win the feeling of being doubtful to myself and turn to have the confidence after making a good profit after the break. And I also realize that we need some time to relax in times of suffering losses as this could help to think of the best way to overcome this failure and turn to success.
2987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the safest coin to stake? on: February 24, 2022, 09:41:54 AM
Using the top listed coins for staking is a good choice but even that, this never gives you the fullest level if we are talking safe as there are many factors that could influence that, and one is the exchanger we use.

if we are into staking we have to put these things into consideration,
* coins(preferred old coins)
*exchanger (must be reputable)
*term of staking (flexible or fix)

But for me, I'd choose flexible so I can able withdraw them anytime and if I need it to trade.
2988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be prepared on: February 23, 2022, 08:34:44 PM
First of all most of us here are aware that crypto market is highly volatile and things can change really quick and neither bull nor near are permanent, I would have appreciated you if you would have suggested some solution or precautionary measure instead of making a post about something which is nature of market.

I would say we should be cautious with our invetsment and should not experiment with altcoins without proper research and also should use stop loss or OCO functionality without fail for all the trades.
I think these are the things we needed in anticipating the market volatility.
*invest the right coins
*keep our mindset positive
*patience

It is all about how we manage our investment like how we manage ourselves in times of difficulties. Though that was hard but NO. Preparation is always important as whether we like it or not, things like this (drops) is existing.
2989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 23, 2022, 03:42:48 PM
Is it me or this is one of the worst dunk contest I ever watched? I think the one that is best for me is the 2016 All star dunk contest, I think it's better to have a Aaron Gordon vs Zach LaVine rematch I would want to see those two competing to dunk contest again, I hope we would have a good one next year.

I totally agree. This year's dunk contest was awful. If any of the 2016 dunks had been made this year, they would have won unopposed Cheesy
There are many good dunks, but they often fail to make creative dunks. I think we can't see different things like before because there are many moves that can be done. Actually, the players are quite athletic and talented Smiley

Actually not only the dunk contest but also the Clorox Clutch Challenge, Barnes and Maxley should win an MVP in Shaqtin' a Fool have you seen how many failed shots he did with a baby hook... a baby hook with no one defending and him near the ring... I'm not really sure if he is unlucky but how many attempts was that?

Forget about that, lol.. SKills challenge has never been fun to watch at least for me, but for the Dunk contest, man, we are all anticipating a good dunk contest and yet we were just disappointed because it seems like they don't give enough effort to prepare for it to entertain the fans.

2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find ICOs worth investing? on: February 22, 2022, 10:13:14 PM
Hello! Is it still worth to invest into ICOs? If so, how do I find the good ones? Any recommendations here ?Smiley

I think ICOs are very dangerous. IEOs are more advantageous. Try joining IEOs of sites like Binance and Coinlist. Kucoin and Gate IEOs also earn very well. You can see how well they earn here: https://cryptorank.io/ieo-platforms-roi Additionally, Tokens you buy with IEOs reach your wallet. But the tokens you buy from ICOs may not reach your wallet. Exchanges provide a quality brokerage service in this regard. I wish you good luck.
ICO's reputations seem badly ended a few years ago when the majority of them are worthless and scamming. I have that experience and it was really my regrets of buying them. That is why for now, I certainly ignore these projects, I'd rather take my time and risk in new projects. I wish not good luck but I wish that people will do the research first before investing as maybe there is something left that is worth investing in.
2992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I can't access a casino while my country isn't got blacklisted? on: February 22, 2022, 12:15:07 PM
Hi fellow gamblers,

I live in a country where gambling is actually legal, but due to some religions that consider gambling is illegal... gambling is pretty strict in my country but it's still allowed if you play on licensed casino, that's just my story.

Well, I've seen so many online casino in this forum and it's really attract me to play. But I don't know why I can't access the casino, while I can access the other casinos. My internet connection is good and my country doesn't got blacklisted by the casino, what's the problem then? Does this because my internet service provider, what should I do to solve this?

I wouldn't play with VPN since it's breaking their rules, I'm really looking to solve this. It's really sad when you want to play on specific casino but there's a barrier obstructing your desire. I know there's an alternative casinos, but I have some personal reason to play in specific casino...
Maybe it's not only your country that really prohibits gambling, even in my country, we can't access casino gambling sites without using a VPN, there are many countries that do prohibit online gambling and most of these countries are countries with a majority of Muslim population such as afghanistan, pakistan and indonesia, so even though your country is not included in the black list of prohibitions by a gambling casino, usually your country authorities have pressured internet providers to block country residents from accessing gambling or porn sites, so if you really want to can still do gambling, you should indeed use a VPN now.
That's the best resort if you want to avoid restrictions, however, you also have to understand the risk of using a VPN, when a gambling site will require you a KYC, that's where your real problem will start, and therefore you should be ready of that possibility.
2993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 22, 2022, 11:44:23 AM
Have you heard that some people gamble for fun and not necessarily to make money?
No, that is not the exact worlds, I only hear the words " gamble for fun".. In such way, you can gamble to make money at the same time but regardless of the outcome, you should make sure you have fun, I know losing is not fun, but if it will result to addiction, then gambling is not fun to you, but destructive.
2994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD seems to be majorly targeted towards well perfoming assets like Bitcoin. on: February 22, 2022, 09:59:08 AM
That looks the same as what happened with Bitcoin now and the rest of cryptocurrencies. FUD is hitting back again but not only crypto as we notice but also in the other form assets. Many speculations arise that this dropped because of the Russia and Ukraine conflict but seems it was wrong. Honestly, it was the media who spread FUDs caused panic and make people sell off their assets.

Hmmm, real investors are benefiting from this and say thanks to the media influencers who did this FUD.
2995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 21, 2022, 01:14:19 PM

Casimero is a good boxer, though we all know him as a trash talker and this case is really possible to happen considering his attitude most probably they have a strong evidence against Casimero, better to act faster now.
Bring the legal problem to the court, it's hard to speculate it here. Before I remember Pacman also have some lawsuit but the fight still happen, so it's hard to speculate because the court will do a due process if they decided to sue him.
2996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 21, 2022, 12:55:58 PM
Team Lebron won the All-Star game as I predicted. But it ended by a really close score like 163-160. And I didn't know that there was a thing like that the side to reach 163 points first wins the game. The game would have been more boring if Stephen Curry especially didn't put on a great show here. He got 50 points and scored 16 three-pointers which was really insane. It was like he scored three-pointers from everywhere and showed how great player he was. He is one of the legends for me already.
With what we saw, I think there's no more debate on who is the greatest 3 point shooter of all time. Curry maybe not be in the top 1 yet per record, but eventually he will break that record and own the top 1 spot. Curry is still young and as long as he is remains healthy, he can continue to generate points especially from the 3 point line.

He is already the greatest 3 point shooter that we have seen in the NBA and will continue to pile up more 3 points in his career that it's going to be very difficult to break. And the thing is that he knows how to position himself, to go around screens and that's what makes him un-guardable and can shoot anywhere he wants, there is no range for this guy.

That's right, maybe @stadus missed that Curry just recently dethrones Ray Allen at the top. For verification, we can look at the all-time leaders in Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Basketball_Association_career_3-point_scoring_leaders

2997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally got paid for some work in bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 03:55:14 PM
I write apps for a living.  Someone wanted a crypto one done and they paid me in bitcoin. Living the dream.
It is a sort of motivation and proof that we can make a living in crypto. Many just doubted how it works but you have made it and to tell everyone that it can be possible.

Well, being an apps writer is a skill, that is kinda special and of course, it pays higher than the other form of job. This will be a stepping stone for a brighter future and being paid with Bitcoin is really exciting. And I hope that other offices can make that offer as well and make this a trend.
2998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 18, 2022, 03:14:43 PM
Actually the performance of ethereum is very dependent on bitcoin, if you say bitcoin does not have a bright future, maybe other coins will have the same fate as bitcoin, but why do you just say bitcoin does not have a bright future, when you have it. your own reason that the future of bitcoin is not bright, but at least bitcoin has accompanied me for more than 11 years, it all started with bitcoin, if there is no bitcoin most likely other coins will never appear..
Some people don't appreciate how Bitcoin does to them while they give it to others, I haven't wondered why OP talks like that.
Anyway, they are just a few of them while many of us had made the right choice. They'll say there is no bright future from Bitcoin but not knowing it is most likely those coins that they have choosen. In fact, with the existence of Bitcoin for more than a decade and seeing upon its performance, that was clear enough to see that Bitcoin does great over the others and still remains to dominate the market.
2999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 18, 2022, 02:08:18 PM
Soon, maybe MPBL can have their own channel or they will be offered an airtime to the new owner of ABS-CBN. We don't know but hopefully.

That would be a good start as TV 5 has the PBA already therefore they need a big network that will televised their games. However, if they still could not get into a big channel, I guess having it through live streaming platform like youtube is already good enough, for sure now many people are watching online too aside from their tv screen.
3000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 18, 2022, 01:37:44 PM
76ers are doing great and they won another game against a really tough opponent like Bucks this time. Embiid was the star of the game like he is nearly all the time. I hope that they can maintain this effort in the playoff round too. Because there have been many teams that were very good in the regular season but were terrible in the playoffs. 76ers deserve to be successful this season and I hope they wouldn't be eliminated earlier in the playoffs. But after Harden's joining, it doesn't seem very likely. The most important thing is his adapting to the team quickly.
That's a good win by the 76ers, though Harden is still not playing, they still manage to beat the Bucks. Embiid had 42 points, which was a huge one, he beat Giannis here and he take his team to success. Looks like 76ers is still a strong team despite of the trade happened recently.
Joel Embiid is really a MVP candidate in my opinion. He has been carrying the team without Simmons this season. And after what had happen, losing some of its best players like Curry and Drummond, he still manages to carry the team in his back. And it's a great win against their rivals in Bucks in the East. So for me this is a statement win for Joel and the Sixers.
As of now, he holds the lead because of his good games, prior the season was opened, he is not even in the top 3, but now he is already in the top 1.

you can see the entire list in this link - https://www.oddsshark.com/nba/nba-mvp-betting-odds

Quote
Joel Embiid   +125
Nikola Jokic   +325
Giannis Antetokounmpo   +375
Stephen Curry   +800
Ja Morant   +1200

I'm not sure yet if there are still betting sites that have opened odds for the MVP betting.
