2981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconvex.com - Signature Campaign - Earn Up to 0.01 BTC/Week on: March 04, 2017, 10:29:34 AM
We moved our Thread back to Service ANN, because our Signaure Program is full.
Bitconvex has added Russian as new Language.
Bitconvex now accepts ION as payment.
I guess this means that the Bitconvex.com campaign is a success because Russia is among the country people sees will bring a brighter days ahead in the world of cyrypto currency....

quick question: why is posting in Beginners and Help not allowed?

also, are you also considering avatars to your campaign?

Because some beginner just make a spam and something not needed to our website. So, that why many signature campaign not allowed beginners and some section in BTT.

thank's will be active now,, hope i can get payment at next week
I want to interfere concern the above question. I think the Dev should do something concern the question because a lot of new folks are coming into the world of bitcoin now though allowing post in beginners and help will create something positive and negative . But they have to implement a rule that will bring the positive part. My believe is that every problem have a solution you just need to search too deep for it.
2982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: March 04, 2017, 10:05:42 AM
Can someone tell me how to swap BTCD into komodo coin? And Is there iguana for windows 10?  Someone else has said if it gets crash.

To swap BTCD to Komodo first get an account in http://ico.komodoplatform.com and PLEASE save the wallet seed in safe place. A new komodo wallet address will be generated . Under the menu swap you can see there is an address where you can send your BTCD. Wait till confirmation then request for a payout .
Dear jwiz168, I'm also interested in knowing how to swap BTCD into KMD but your answer did not point it out correctly and I will be happy if you can explain in details because your explanation seems to be like a dead end to me. After waiting for the confirmation then request for a payout will the BTCD automatically swap into KMD just like that?
2983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2017, 07:40:24 PM
China in my opinion can control bitcoin's price, since if all their miners sell at the same time, it would cause a very big dump on bitcoin's price. For now, I think those miners are independent and not controlled by the government. Hope that China won't plan to control bitcoin's price just yet. If they do, they will just need to order their miners and bitcoin users to sell all of their bitcoins at the same time or by banning bitcoin causing the miners to sell at the same time

Metaphorically speaking, we have already been there

The Chinese authorities have already effectively banned Bitcoin from trading in China. Now we see runaway prices going straight to the moon. Even if they make the Chinese miners sell all their stashed bitcoins somehow (provided there are any in the first place), that could only make the prices crash momentarily, and we will see buying wall rising to the sky covering the sun itself. Obviously, the Chinese government is not so much interested in controlling Bitcoin prices as driving Bitcoin out of the country altogether
Yes, you're correct because they are only interested in saving the Yuan not control the bitcoin price. Inaddition, as bitcoin price rises from December last year Yuan loose value and the Chinese government believe bitcoin had something to do with it and in other for them to achieve something they wanted, they almost crush the price of bitcoin early this year

I don't really think that they do actually believe in that

Bitcoin is too small yet to affect the value of yuan as such in any meaningful way. But the said doesn't of course mean that the situation couldn't potentially get out of control in the future. In most authoritarian countries (like China or Venezuela), the population doesn't believe their governments either, and further devaluation of the Chinese currency would drive even more people into value-preservation mode. And that's where Bitcoin could come in quite handy. So basically, the Chinese government delivered a preemptive attack against Bitcoin
You have to believe me mate because that's the scoop behind the new law implement by the Chinese government to all China bitcoin exchangers cause they believe people are using bitcoin to move there money (foreign currence) oversea which make Yuan loose value and that's the Chinese bitcoin exchangers ask for
further customer identification lately.

Chinese miners are divided into 3 or 4 camps, they are not united, nothing to worry about.

It is indeed true, it could also give a bad impact for miners or the owner of the bitcoin another. Because there is nothing to know that secretly they work together and want to get a bigger profit from those outside of China. Although china is a great country, but sometimes there are some people who have the ambition to earn a bigger profit than those who have only little bitcoin. Just be patient and see the best results in the future, for now it's the price of the bitcoin has started a fun and profitable
I think Mkc was right because no tangible relationship between most of the Chinese miners. Meanwhile, some of the Chinese miners supported the act of only a larger mining transaction fee will maintain the
balance by increasing block size and transaction numbers and the fees will gradually replace the block
reward providing enough incentive for the miners to defend the bitcoin hashrate.

China POC had a few words with the Chinese Exchanges

And now BTC market price is so stable it is almost sickening, if you can't see they are manipulating the price, you're just not that bright.

 Cool
That was your thinking isn't it? Because the PBOC conversation with the Chinese bitcoin exchange bring alot of negative change in the price of bitcoin just in 3minutes after the outcome of their meeting linked out. There was alot of panic sell of bitcoin and alot of bitcoin investors start to sell their investment. Could you remember the number of await to confirm blockchain transaction back then was around 20 thousand plus?
2986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I withdraw bitcoin? on: March 01, 2017, 08:54:51 AM
To answer correctly the question you ask will be hard without knowing the country you reside because a lot of countries currently had active bitcoin ATM. Meanwhile, if you're from Japan, UK, Canada, Brazil, Russia I think you can find some bit coin atm there , you search online for more information or you can contact bit coin trader him Snow White or Theresa White(alex2012) for deal. Hope that will help.

2987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2017, 08:12:03 AM
People here have claimed that Bitcoin is in fact controlled and ruled by China, as mining is centralized by Chinese mining institutions.

Do you think that China is controlling/ruling bitcoin yes or no?
Actually I'm not thinking about that, for all what important to me is as long as the features of bitcoin is being applied for the individuals the demand huge volume is still in the hand of the majority. And I don't think China has an ability to control bitcoin, no it won't due to bitcoin decentralized, always keep that in mind.
Before the PBOC investigation.
- Zero fees
- A lot of the fake volumes
- The condition of bitcoin is unstable

After PBOC investigation
- The fees has applied
- Removing the fake volumes
- The bitcoin is really strong right now.
yes there was a lot of fake volume right before the People Bank of China probe and the situation almost kill people thirst for bitcoin and I'm happy in the life of Japan, US, the tea company etc for bringing the thirst back which take out the power the Chinese had to control the price of bitcoin. Concerning the price of control the price of bit coin the investors, media, you and I have the power but concerning the mining section  I think China controls that.

2989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2017, 02:25:10 PM
With the People's bank of China interfering heavily into the bitcoin atmosphere the power/control of the Chinese is surely diminishing.
A handy tool though of where bitcoins are transferred to can be found on http://fiatleak.com/ there you see where coins are spent and used.

With the ETF happening a lot of non-chinese money will be invested into Bitcoin which I hope will create stability and less volatility.
so you mean when there is a lot of non-chinese money come to bitcoin investment, there will be a less volatility?
i don't think so , the volatility will always there exist ,
chinese will still in action but they will never ever control the bitcoin market ,
anyway the vote result so far :

Yes    - 168 (48.1%)
No    - 181 (51.9%)

Total Voters: 349

Yes, the volatility will always there exist and the Chinesse will still be in power concern the mining sector. But will won't be good a country have 58% power to all the 21million bitcoin will have in world.
2990  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: February 27, 2017, 02:12:35 PM
I should sell now, because ETF will be dissaproved. Just wait 2 weeks. Then buy  again.

I don't know how you guys do it, but I don't know any places, where you can sell or buy bitcoin for a good rate. If you go to localbitcoins or other places, where you can buy btc, the price is usually higher, than trading price plus you have to pay fees, if you buy with fiat and they are not so low.. usually 10 or 15%, sometimes even higher. And if you want to sell, the price is lower than the trading one. So basically the price has to change 20% up or higher to make some profit with selling and rebuying.

if you go on to an exchange like coinbase, you can even make trade without fees, if you place a sell order and it s filled, the buyer pay the fees
and if you place a buy order and it get filed then the seller pay the fees

personalty i don't do, i m bad trader,

Interesting! I'm only on Bittrex and Yobit, so I didn't know about the option on coinbase. I will have a look on it, it would really help me and I hope it won't be only for US residents. Grin
It's too bad PayPal is so unpopular in bitcoin world these days (I can understand the reasons why), because I was paid for some work via PP and I would be glad to change those money for btc, but I refuse to pay 20-25% fee for it.. it's just so huge, almost quarter of my earnings would be gone immediately. Tongue
I don't know why you fellas are talking about something that asserting the opposite of the advice the OP of this thread seek. The OP ask for your point of view concerning him/her selling now or hold his/her bitcoin for future sake and there you're talking about the local and store to sell bitcoin.

Here's my entry Smiley

Not sure if you're aware or not but you're using parts of a design that I made in the past. The middle part is based on my previous work, even though you tweaked it a bit (exact same font / Not all caps / deleted the in between parts / changed the order of the names). In a way you're presenting my past work, as yours (even if you used only parts of it).
Regardless of the fact that both of your entries are invalid (except the Hero version in your 2nd entry, although it needs tweaking in terms of size for both end parts), you shouldn't present someone else's work as yours (be original).
I have a little doubt on that but for proving that he has copied your work you have to provide the proof so that people know and decide that how he have copied your work. As you said he have copied some part of the design you provided so maybe he only copied the idea!
You're right because this is hard to believe situation and you can not accuse someone of using or edit your previous work without a proof cause no one will believe you. Though, you're have been a nice and trustworth person on this forum so far. But you need to convince people watching and the OP that what you said is truth.
2992  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: February 26, 2017, 02:41:58 AM
Don't be stupid and wait. Now it's the best time to buy.
BTC won't drop to even $800 anymore.
At the end of 2017 the price would be $2000 and each year for the couple next will rise to 150%.

That's pretty bold, actually I'm expecting quite a bit of a roller coaster this year. $2000 is attainable, but maybe after the next halving.
Why not this year? We have a good start and that can be a good basis that we can achieve what has previously done, we are stable at $1,000 now after few dump and for me, that means we are going to another pump until we reach $1,200. In terms of figures, our prediction differs, but one thing is sure, we will not fall back from $1,000 this year.
Because it is too soon, bitcoin will reach that price at some point, but to double the current price in the time span of a single year will be a big change and while that will bring profits to all of us I don’t think we need a huge pump like that because then a dump will happen.
Not really big, we have than this last year and I do not think we cannot do it again. The price would tell it all, what you see in your eyes now are real. If we have reach $1,000 now, doubling it is very easy as this year is crucial to us, once we hit the all time high, that will prove to people that bitcoin once again succeeded, and there will be a boost of confidence to the people since media will surely gonna publish this event.
The media will surely publish the event but instead of reporting this as a great news for bitcoin I have no doubt they will twist to mean a negative meaning, trying to imply bitcoin is a coin full of pumps and dumps and not a stable currency at all.
Speaking of the media publishing an events Keynote is happening in Dubai this March 6, Block chain cruise in US etc. Most of the event publish lately are for bitcoin/block chain awareness and also to boost the price of bitcoin and this is the reason why I think is not good for the OP to sell his/her bitcoin now.

2995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2017, 01:26:35 AM
Many of us here thinks that China is not controlling bitcoin for many different reasons , I think in myself that I agree that China isn't controlling it , It just happens that China has the Big number of miners and I think bitcoin can survive with out China.
50 percent of people here in forum are believing that china is controling the bitcoin price it just because of the reason of fake volume exchange that makes the bitcoin price boost into increasing price. China also had the most users who uses bitcoin and they starting to create good technology that can change the world with bitcoin.
the fact that the highest number of transactions was using chinese yuan. they have the biggest bitcoin minning in the world. they can control the price of bitcoin by influencing the supply.
Yes, China did have the biggest minning in the world and I even said China control bitcoin last year but with what's happening lately? China did control bitcoin because a lot of good tiding is happening to bitcoiners in the US, Paskistan, Philippines, Japan, Europe etc.
2996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: February 25, 2017, 01:58:21 PM
If the bitcoin is much and you sort of need some cash at the moment. My advice for you is that you sell a little out of the bitcoin you currently have and hold the rest till 2019 which will be another year of bitcoin halving. But if you're not out of cash, mate please hold your bitcoin because a lot of good tiding is about to happen in the world of bitcoin.

Please consider me,if there is an slot available if any user is removed from the camp.By the way is it a month campaign or a long term campaign?

For the moment only one month, we will review results at the end of it.
It all depends on how much traction our lovely posters can get and the quality of their posts as well as where they are posted.

If people posts in threads that nobody looks at or are only for signature campaigners to post and get their post numbers up...
Not sure if we will continue.

Ideally we'd like posts in /Altcoins/Announcements and some of the major project on Project Development.
However we stated our rules in the OP, up to people to try their best.
If I get what you're trying to say. What you said is you want to see the outcome of this campaign for a month and if it turn out positive there's a possibility to increase your campaigners?
I have an advice for you. I think you should allow your campaigners to post in beginners and help section cause it could since a lot of new people believe in bitcoin lately check the news.
