2981  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: April 14, 2019, 05:02:10 AM
It's okay for Africa to adopt cryptocurrency but I don't think it's a good place for crypto because there are many factors to consider for better usage of crypto. They have good and advanced technology though but it's not quite to have a constant market for them. Assets and other alternatives will have a really hard time to grow but investing in assets of other countries, it will give them good profit.
2982  Economy / Economics / Re: Things I learned through the years of Buying and Trading Bitcoin on: April 13, 2019, 08:55:58 AM
It's good for you to have an achievement by staying here in bitcoin talk. Honestly speaking, this forum encourages us to discover all the factors of cryptocurrency and we're learning it part by part. I'm very proud of you that a newbie tells that he/she gain pieces of knowledge that will help him/her grow and by that, it makes our community more reliable too. I hope most of the beginners should be like that and be inspired or your actions, more power to our community and the blockchain.
2983  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse on: April 13, 2019, 02:35:48 AM
From the word abuse, what does it mean?

Did he use an alt account to merit that kind of post?
Do her/his friends give him some merits?
Did he beg merits to someone? If not, then it's not considered as an abuse.

Even how high is the amount of merits received to that kind of posts, you can't question him as long as he/she didn't do anything that will make it as an abusive action.

It was Jet Cash, a merit source, why don't you question him for giving a guy with low context merits? People have different taste and agenda for being a merit source, I think he has a reason for that action.
2984  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: April 12, 2019, 05:09:39 PM
It's not that easy to get people to use bitcoin as a daily currency in a daily routine because they wanted to have physical things. People especially the old generations are used in fiat and gold so it's very hard for them to believe in a digital currency. Maybe we, the new generation, might have a chance to make our community as a smart city where bitcoin is the main currency for having a transaction. We are not yet in the process of being a smart city, there are a few advanced technologies but it's not quite good like we see in the cyberpunk(lol).
2985  Economy / Economics / Re: The market starts looking real nice in Q2, 2019 on: April 12, 2019, 03:27:07 PM
I also notice that dramatic change in the market and there's an amazing hope that comes from nowhere. I think 2019 will change everything and to think that cryptocurrency will revive again from the grave. I'm not saying that crypto was dead but most of the platforms, assets and especially some alternate cryptocurrency are pure trash. I'm looking forward to this and gonna make some investment to have a good profit soon.  Cheesy
2986  Other / Meta / Re: How can we take Bitcoin Talk back into the Bitcoin community? on: April 11, 2019, 03:56:42 PM
The legitimate pro's on bitcoin evaporated already to another dimension(platform) when they gain the knowledge here. That's the kind of people I wanted to control the bitcoin talk community because they prioritize the development of the blockchain rather than some people here who literally do bounties. The introduction of this forum to others was very dirty, I can clearly say it because most of the new members here are just directing towards the income without thinking the origin and purpose of this forum. Some of the higher-ups are trying to be kings but don't really have any contribution to our bitcoin community. They're self-proclaimed king because of being the first one who discovers the forum and trying to wipe out some low profile members.

I'm a tech-related course student and trying to make some innovative research about the blockchain. I'm tired of seeing repetitive concepts like for example, about the mining section, companies are just copying the algorithms and adding some extravagant features to have investors and users of their product. Intel, AMD, and other semiconductors company are good at making hardware, components to build-up and calculate algorithms very fast while the other mining companies are just trying to take advantage of it for the growth of their platform. No one didn't try/create any innovative invention that can also surpass the current device for mining. It's very similar in here, some of here are just trying to pump their business without trying to contribute anything good for our community.

My point is, what if we create or think something different for our bitcoin community? I know someone will get offended easily but most of the people are now focusing on a good reputation but they really lack about bitcoin. Bitcoin is a very powerful masterpiece that can exist for a hundred years, maybe its name in the future is Bitcoin v.7892, like that.

2987  Other / Meta / Re: My account was hacked! Pay attention please. on: April 11, 2019, 02:40:31 PM
It's obvious that it just a story to cover up all of your wrongdoings. Accounts can't be hacked/hijacked easily if they have no access to it, simple as that. It's also your fault for being careless on your account so everything that has been done by your account will receive judgment.

You can't easily provide any proofs to help you up on your situation. It's clearly shown that you're a bounty hunter assuming that you also need merits to be able to participate any bounty campaigns. Members of this community that focuses only on bounties at some point considered as low reputation or don't-care members. If hacking was really an issue, then why my account is still visible? I have plenty of merits, most of us have great reputation, hackers should target those.

2989  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: April 06, 2019, 05:27:14 PM
Yes, I always use cash for my daily routine like getting a promo of data connection on my sim card to check daily news. I also spend my money in food, money is our need to survive.

We are working on Golden Currency project ( https://goldencurrency.money ), where we issue money that is available both in crypto and in cash form. We find the possibility to use crypto money in cash form as one of advantages. We expect that almost everybody anyway uses cash and in such a case the lack of such opportunity limits the potential use of currency. That's why we started the poll to prove it. Would be glad for your votes and comments regarding your view on such an option.
I can not use digital coins to buy special needs.
I sell them to specific people
Then bought with the money you get it Special needs.

I feel that in daily activities we don't need to use coins. because in our daily activities we need of course the cash we use. because the coins and cash are quite different. if the cash can be used transactions that require a little nominal, so don't need coins.

They're both money so there's no issue with that as long as it's spending to our needs in life. The topic title says a lot, "everyday use" means your needs in life to survive.
2990  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: April 06, 2019, 05:04:34 PM
What are you referring to?

Because if you're asking about the profit that brought us in bitcoin then it will be bitcoin. It is the first digital currency and the bitcoin itself attracts all of the investors in the world. Bitcoin created a legacy where no one can beat that easily.
2991  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: April 06, 2019, 04:06:23 PM
If I had a 10000$, I would like to have a business and being innovative is a factor to grow. I don't think to invest in the market will give you a huge income so I'll spend it wisely. When it comes to the market, BTC is the number one asset that I will invest to because it's trusted and proven to be number one. I hope also in ETH because it has the ability to stand with BTC.
2992  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 06, 2019, 03:00:16 PM
Any suggestion for things that we could invest and make money at the same time
There are some ways where you could invest while earning but you should not expect much during this kind of market situation. It's important that we'll know how and where to invest. Choose coins that are on top of the list so that you'll have a better assurance of gaining a good profit.

Agree, the current market now is not very stable and I would not recommend you to invest because you will not have a good profit there. If you want to earn money and want to invest a little on it, try to have a loaning service with 5-10% additional fee. That would work if you have a lot of starting money. Sometimes, business is the key for having a good profit so think and be innovative on your business.
2993  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: April 06, 2019, 02:20:42 AM
I really don't prefer to have a KYC for just a small amount of money especially when you're just a bounty hunter that works anonymously. I don't think it's a good idea for us to give our personal information even we're not investors that must have a contact with the devs. We bounty hunters should have contact only to the bounty manager and he will be the one to distribute the said payment, so BTC payment is preferable than their coin.

If they are hungry for those pennies for the exchange of their identities, there are too things that's on my mind.

  • they don't own the identity
  • they are desperate

It's not worth it to exchange your any ID just for those airdrops or free cryptocurrencies that they offer. I always avoid those kind of posts and ignore people them on social medias.

That explains everything.
Most of them are just desperate, trying to make a living out of bounty campaigns.
We even doubt to pass KYC verification to known exchanges, I dont understand why these people risks their essential info to the people over the internet.

True, I don't really understand why they keep uploading information on the internet. Your life can be fvcked up by someone with that info.
2994  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: March 30, 2019, 04:32:47 PM
The success is not depends on only your hard works it needs everything to be perfect and match it in your work it needs intelligence, smart work, talent, good thinking and making ability for your work so when all the things compared to your work will give the success at the end I think it definitely be in the right way also when you are starting a business.
Agree to that, there are several factors when having a successful thing so we must consider those. The abilities of a good person is also a factor so he/she can make all the plans work with a great strategy to meet the goals. Business is business, but you must consider a thousands of things to have a good business
2995  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR LOCAL BOARD - [MUST READ] 🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: March 30, 2019, 04:41:57 AM
I would like to bump this thread again;

I would like to bump this topics since ang daming baguhan ulit na pumapasok ng bitcointalk forum without any idea about sub topics on bitcoin. I hope na yung mga ganitong topics yung mas umaangat at nasa 1st page than some shitposts, non-sense topics na napagusapan na for how many times.

There's an issue about locked topics sa amin na laging nagpopost about ideas and information. Sobrang nakakadisappoint lang if ma-lock 'tong kaisa isa kong topic last year kasi nag-exet din kami ng effort dito. Kumbaga lahat ng topics na ginagawa namin dati is innovative, lahat ay nakakatulong, lahat makikinabang, I don't mind to those person na sa tingin nila ay nanlalamang ako by posting. I don't care also sa mga taong may crab mentality because of merits.

For sure, maraming tao dito na kulang sa aruga na magrereport ng post kasi ayaw malamangan or what. Bago pa kayo nandito, andito na kami at may ambag so be careful with your actions kasi baka bumalik sa inyo lahat. Be responsible member of the community, maswerte tayo may local tayo samantalang yung iba, nagpepetition pa para magkaroon ng local board so wag tayong basura, wag gawing basura, wag mag-astang basura, yun lang.  Wink

Ang dami na kasing non-sense posts na gumagawa ng similar topics pero hindi naman nirereport because tinotolerate nila ang isa't isa para gumawa ng mali, para mamaximize yung required posts sa mga bounty, tama ba?

Soon, I'll recreate a topic where you can view and learn something different lalo na sa mga taong hindi fluent sa international language.

2998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns Comparative Spreadsheets Here! Find the Best Bounties! on: March 23, 2019, 03:43:39 PM
I don't recommend this kind of method because the mentality of some beginners to do bounty will begin. They will just think of the bounty and will spend most of their time to do shitposts just to make the post requirements. At the same time, it's good to have a spreadsheet like this to help some responsible bounty hunters.

Altcoin community/bounty is very toxicated because of shitposting and one-liner posts.
2999  Economy / Economics / Re: KakaoTalk to integrate a cryptocurrency wallet on app on: March 23, 2019, 02:43:41 PM
First is telegram and now KakaoTalk? It's very unusual when a communication company enters the business of cryptocurrency. Some of the analyst seen a progressive income when having learnings in cryptocurrency.

All of the social media platforms are taking a step towards advanced technology, they have stocks and now a cryptocurrency. Even mobile company like Samsung that allows their device for a hardware wallet.
3000  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: March 23, 2019, 01:35:50 PM
A newbie and his first post are about fraud? Nice.

Usually, Newbies are trying to spam some mega threads and their posts are nonsense. It's great that you've created a topic that most of the people here must know. I would like to add something about fraud, It is being used for class A persons where they can scam people or hi-jack some income with that precious information. Even here, some of the bounty campaigns, they require KYC where we send our information to receive the payment, that's very dangerous.

The newbie must know something about fraud, don't have a mentality of getting income first than your safety.
