It is nice to screw fiat but if you earn bitcoin in fiat value, then naturally you have to pay btc in smaller and smaller amounts as the price goes up,,, but that is okay for me. So clubhouse is always a nice bonus if it gets, if not also no worries. I am not betting in less than 0.1 mbtc soon when Bitcoin moons I will be betting in ubtc Wink
2982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is falling fast right now. At what point do you get out? on: April 01, 2021, 08:37:37 AM
I have been holding ETH for a long time, so if you count the time I was in loss and in profit I have still spent much more time in loss than in profit (but this will change this year as long as price never goes down below $500 again).

Never been a huge fan but I was convinced by the proof and what numbers were shown by Ethereum. You have to hand it to them. Great project with solid devs.

Precisely because Ethereum has been a solid project for years and has proven more than once that someone who trusts in this project can earn a lot is the most important argument for me not to sell it. I think it is worth keeping Ethereum despite the falling price, because after the introduction of Ethereum 2.0 the price will definitely go up very high.

Add to that the fact that I initially distrusted them because of the DAO,,, and only when they came back down from their ATH did I change my mind about them. The work they did and the projects they continued with it,,, yes the ICO period was the worst and now defi could almost be the same thing but in the end,,, they have proved that they did their best and won me over.
2983  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 01, 2021, 08:02:32 AM
^ leea yeah, I'm actually ashamed I've been not picking the right teams in this tourney, especially having bet a lot on teams like Lux before the finals. Although on the African continent I've been eyeing some good runs of form for island nations like Madagascar and Comoros (also having such a blast).

Anyway, so good to see SB do that matching offer with Saints. They were in a lot of charity matching events last year too, it's good to see them give back in these tough times. Gotta remember where we are.

I have to say I know very little about African football except during World Cup. I guess you watch it because you have team members from your  club playing in their countries,,, this is the only way I sometimes can watch those international games.

And yes good charity project to support,,, Sportsbet is always doing its part for the community here on the forum and elsewhere in the world. Not everyone is kind like this:)
2984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB still undervalue on: April 01, 2021, 06:45:02 AM
People are still thinking it is not really centralized in the sense that Binance can't print more whenever they want, or they can't make a rollback whenever they want, sure they could add it to other things if they want to, but it all depends on us you know that right? Like if bnb users hate a new feature they could ignore it and not use it and Binance has nothing else than just accept it and move on.

I would have to say it is not really a "copy" of ethereum, it has its own blockchain that's true but it is nearly getting to ethereum levels already and even have more volume in swaps and the cost of bsc transactions are like 20-90 cents which is why it has a huge advantage.  But, everything they do so far is awesome so we take it and use it. Look at eth 2.0 situation, does that make eth centralized? Of course not, same way why BNB is not as centralized as you think.

Centralized because yes users can add whatever they want to it but have a look at pancakeswap which is fully supported by binance. They can still do what they want and reject projects as they like if they want,,, sure they can go elsewhere but they will not get the good volumes. This is the power of supposedly decentralized yet run by a company.
2985  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽Albetrage.com|✔First arbitrage Sportsbook in the world|✔guaranteed profits🚀 on: April 01, 2021, 06:08:37 AM
This is not a sportsbook from what I can see but a site selling a sportsbook service. You are not a sportsbook if you do not take bets,,, which I cannot find at your website at all correct me if I am wrong:)

It is down now and definitely NOT SSL secure. you have to type https to get that.

Lots of World Cup Qualifiers tonight, always a good chance to win an accumulator with good odds. It’s probably my most placed bet, I do love a good accumulator.
I won a lot of bets in yesterday night's matches. Easily predicted that Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands will win easily. Belgium won 8-0 and the Netherlands won by 7-0. I also won my bet on the Slovakia and Norway's matches. I lost my bet on the Czech Republic and Turkey's matches. I thought the Czech Republic would win, but they lost. The Turkish team shared the points with Latvia, I placed the bet on their win. Overall, the night was good for me.

Good for you! I was thinking to bet on England and Wales at Half time (because of the Spurs people playing in both Wink ) but I decided not to and saved myself some money,,, Wales did win but it took them very late goal.

Turkey is strange to win the games they were expected to lose but draw with Latvia of all people.

I notice also how the "small" teams seem to be able to score goals easily now?
2988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins having an ICO next are to be good? on: March 31, 2021, 12:00:46 PM
There aren't really many quality projects enough to confidently open an ICO to fund startups. This is far from 2017 or new projects are not good enough for preparation or scam. Most investors also trust IEO more because of its liquidity. Really, good projects will most likely succeed in the presale like Sovryn. https://sovryn.app/

I hate to say it but right now,,, you are far better off investing in one of those new IDOs that you can see almost every popping up on Sushi or Uni or even Polka. Get in early, get all the APYs you want and cover investment in first few weeks.

Not advice but that is just how bad the ICO scene has become that even IDOs that take seconds to launch are doing much better than everything else now.
2989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: March 31, 2021, 11:12:34 AM
I have to find a way to check this place often because am missing many of the matches for a long time:) Just read now that you guys came so close 2 games ago,,, and last night was not so bad actually that it was 9 points in the first half (similar to the night before right?).

I would not want to end up not playing if and when you guys finally hit:)
2990  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cannot find a portfolio tracker that will show current PL and BTC daily balance on: March 31, 2021, 09:36:52 AM
You can use PlasmaFinance (you can look it up url is plasma.finance). I have been using it to track my portfolio and soon they will release in any currency you want.

It is a defi platform but you do not HAVE to use it if you just need to track balances and portfolios for free:) You just have to connect it to your wallet that makes trades.
2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB still undervalue on: March 31, 2021, 09:03:06 AM
IDO is more popular but Binance isn't conducting Ido, BSC is skyrocketing the crypto corners and many upcoming projects are building on it, they are actually dominating since they have less transaction fee, fast and reliable.
Bnb has always been a good coin despite last week dump but going high now to $306, BNB is having a token burn when need arise, just that lets you know BNB would be greater in price in the future, the best time to buy BNB is always now, and it's going do wonders too.

Binance does not need to do IDO I think they realized that with their Binance Launchpad in the past, they suffered from a bad reputation when the IEOs launched and did not make money (in fact lost investors a lot in the end).

Now I think they just want to help platforms like PancakeSwap to do IDOs like they are doing now,,, you can see plenty of IDOs on Pancake.

^FortuneJack ^^tokeweed

So cool to hear that your Majestic 7 is coming again,,, I have taken part in most of the Jackmates and while did not win anything in Champions League format I think what you guys did for EPL was truly awesome so cannot wait for it to be back again. Maybe you can spread it to other sports too for sure!
2993  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin HODLing on: March 31, 2021, 05:52:28 AM
I would add that the power of hodling is also nothing without the power of using. If you read the forum goods and services and see how people use BTC to pay and sell things,,, then you realize very much just how it is so important to have people actually using Bitcoin to give it value.

If everyone only hedl then who is using it and giving it value?
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: March 31, 2021, 05:20:12 AM
When viewed from a human perspective who views wealth as represented by an invisible item, surely the pile of gold will look very tantalizing than the numbers on a computer screen, but if we look at the market, the price of bitcoin is also tantalizing, both of them have their respective advantages

Tell me exactly how many gold investors these days even see their gold? I do know my own relatives in the past who used to buy actual physical gold but the rich people I know now from my generation born in the late 80s actually just even buy gold from accounts at banks. So they are buying already digital gold (just not realizing it is digital). With Bitcoin you can realize and own it for real.
2995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you want become Rich from HODL? HODL ETH! Read here for the reason!! on: March 30, 2021, 03:36:30 PM
Of course with people buying right at the time, and prices now fairly normalized, the $100-200 gain in a few days was indeed very significant.
In fact I am happy with this news even though they are adopting a more stable USDC coin than ETH we still see them under the Ethereum network so I think there is a big chance that ETH will be bigger and widely used in other important ways.

I see ETH is back up to 1800$ right now so it is only 10% from the current 2000 psychological barrier. Still a long way for ETH 2.0 to come so I guess all the outflows to Polka and BSC are hurting it but once the end of the year approaches it is very difficult to see how ETH will not climb back up above them all.
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: March 30, 2021, 03:04:27 PM
We don't need to rush to evaluate and compare these two coins just yet. It is necessary to wait for the Ethereum update or at least three more months until the problem of the high level of transaction fees on the ethereum network is resolved in July. It is not very correct to compare these coins when there are temporary difficulties in ethereum.
After the update within the framework of Ethereum 2.0, it will already be a completely different coin, with improved characteristics, and then it will be possible to compare it with others.

Even without the ETH 2.0 upgrade we all realize that it is not just about speed and fees. It has not been since 2017. Yes people will move to BSC and Polka, as they are doing now,,, but in the end the main developer talents lie at Ethereum and people still want the widest choice of options which is of course on Ethereum.
2997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: March 30, 2021, 01:46:46 PM
Yeah but that strategy only effective on some Top Altcoins like Ethereum, TRX or even Bitcoin but for some new Coin Or Token we should need to be more careful when there is some huge price movement, It can be good but also can be a bad sign and basically most of them was a bad sign, Rug Pull, Scam Team, Hacked, etc. Well, always DYOR!

No amount of DYOR can really prevent a rug pull,,, unless you know how to read code and can certify for yourself the audits mean the code is safe and cannot be drained from pools.

The problem is even the best like Certik audit and then later the projects scam.

So EITHER codes still have holes. Or projects lie about the code being on github etc.
2998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: March 30, 2021, 11:25:37 AM
EURO 2020, should have already happened. This is the first time that the qualification for a world cup happens months before the start of the final face of a European.
So, instead of friendly games, they are official games. This gives you a more realistic idea of the quality of the teams.

It will be a really interesting EURO to watch. Cool

I totally agree and I am very happy the scrapped the friendlies and just played proper matches. Then we do not see 2nd or 3rd teams who have no chance at the real stage playing.

Maybe they should consider just making this format more permanent and just take away friendlies for the sake of friendlies? Or at least make the calendars more in sync with each other.
2999  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: March 30, 2021, 09:01:18 AM
I predict those who haven't wagered very much and don't intend on wagering very much will not be too happy about this announcement.

Too bad you will not be getting any prizes for this prediction haha;)

I mean, I think wagering contests are great too and ultimately that is what the site wants to gain, more volume,,, more bets, and more house edge wins. But yes I hope April also brings contests that do not look at a person's bankroll;)
3000  Economy / Speculation / Re: China writes blockchain and digital currency into nation’s future! on: March 30, 2021, 07:46:01 AM
I doubt this had anything to do with Bitcoin price recovery yesterday. Remember, Bitcoin does mean digital currency and blockchain,,, but not necessarily the other way around. All you need to do is look at 2017 to see thousands of blockchain and digital currency projects, most of them centralized and totally wrong, to see how bad it could be for Bitcoin and crypto in general.

Still good news, but not as big as we think.
