I think both of them are very profitable nowadays, but gold is considered as an asset and good and not really a currency. Also it have the price growing up slowly compared to Bitcoin and crypto currencies. I prefer investing in BTC because it is more promising than gold and because it is needed for trading crypto currencies in general.

ICO is a good investment if (and only if) you choose the best promising projects, which have good potential. Otherwise there is a lot of ICO scams and projects without real value. You need to take some time choosing carefully the project first (reading the whitepaper, check the team, the concept..) before taking the decision of investing.

I have my clear plan about holding, and already sold some crypto currencies when the price reach my expected level. I don't think that holders are fools to hold their crypto until dying , without making plans. Everyone is waiting some level, and also they sell whenever they need cash or fiat money.
