He actually needs to know how he's going to use blockchain for his company. For energy industry, there are a bunch of companies in the energy industry that uses blockchain. Check and research Terawatt (for now, the only one I know though I said bunch) for how they use blockchain to innovate their process.
Most of the times a company would fall into ERC-20 eth smart contracts because it is easier to use. Quick hint you will need so many resources and they will be hard to find. *blockchain developers

What does OP mean by rebranding? Is it changing its name? the way it is used? I don't understand.
If that's what he meant then there goes alt coins. Every single day there is a new coin that is launched for a specific usage based on customers and none of them ever get over bitcoin for a long time. Why re-brand again?

Embrace taxes. Tax is part of our everyday lives for as we live in a community that needs it. It funds almost everything you see on the streets. But sure, there is a way to minimize tax but to actually waive it!

Why not buy BTC or ETH? They are more popular than those coins and has a smaller chance of risk than those coins. If you like to risk the money then go for what they tell here, just remember that they might be FUDing. If I were you I will go to the one that get's into my common sense. The strongest one.

This is actually one of the great advancement in the usage of bitcoin! You can now use bitcoin without an internet which is great! Bitcoin is now closing to be actually used as a currency. Very excited for the future! Could this be one of the causes that bitcoin is somehow recovering?
I think can Bitcoin not use the internet? it can't even be without the internet because it's logically unable to access when there is no connectivity and I think it's very ridiculous A simple google on the topic can make you understand the topic a little bit. You don't even need to read the whole article just skim read your way out of the article and you'll surely be enlightened. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) click this link and you'll see. https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-from-space-blockstream-cso-explains-its-satellite-services

The fact that more and more countries are going positive with the blockchain technology is real great news! More and more countries nowadays wanted to be the center of the crypto investments hub. This means that crypto is a real thing. Just give bitcoin a year and I think it will bull again.

Fiat still dominates the world so all we can do is go with it and deal with it. I would suggest you buy through big name exchanges because there is a bigger chance that the exchange will most likely not do you harm without a hint. One KYC verification can move you through cryptocurrency. For me, that's one of the way investments go.

Unfortunately there is the misconception that running a google extensions is safer than running an exe, for unexperienced users. Plus people may think it's safe because it's from Google How is the situation for Firefox extensions? I'm afraid since this scam is quite easy to pull is just going to get worse the situation with these extensions.. Really sad this what I thought of in the first place. I trusted google too much. So this means that its really easy for a hacker to upload a malware through a trusted source like google. Now I don't know what to do and where to actually download trusted sources. Should we know how to crack exe and extensions and read them?

in my opinion it won't be able to invest in bitcoin without the internet. because everyone who invests in bitcoin must use the internet and must know the market or conditions. and others also have to look forward to the news. and we also buy each other through the internet.
I think you don't understand the news. It says you can use bitcoin without the internet CONNECTION but you can use it thru the rented satellite they have which broadcast bitcoin. So this means that you are still connected but NOT through the internet.

Yes they should be regulated! Since the boom of bitcoin last 2018 many scam ICOs emerged and they did really hurt investors causing the whole bitcoin ecosystem to go down.
I know that will be hard for the government to do, all they have is AML and they do not have a governing body holding the data these ICOs hoard, but maybe make ourselves be more cautious. If you somehow found out that an ICO is smelling fishy and looks like a scam. A simple post on the forum will get attention and will make us study the ICO more.
Helping one another.

I didn't even think that those from the stock market will actually put their money on bitcoin. Given the fact that there still many people who are waiting for bitcoin to recover from the big loss and get their money back.
Well, there is nothing bad regards that and I think it really can happen. But let's not remove the fact also that there are other instruments more secure than the volatile bitcoin.

but they do NOT represent everyone. it is only a small percentage that you can call "loudmouths" in crypto ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Agreed! there are only few. It just so happen that most of them are loud that it looks like the majority of the people are them. Wait now for some post regarding the markets recovery ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Your view exactly captures the state of the bitcoin of today and the challenge that it is battling with, which is that of high volatility. With its current volatile nature, it will be very hard to play its role as a store of value and establish itself as a medium of exchange. Much still needs to be done in this space if the goal of bitcoin's founder must be achieved.
It's because of the sad truth that most bitcoin users are speculators of it. I don't think it is widely used as a currency already, though there are many outlets where it is accepted. People still don't want to use it yet. They are maybe like me who prefer to hold for a larger price.

If you are comparing with the late 2017 - dead cat bouncing!
If you are an early starter - Bull run, most certainly!
haha! you're right, It depends on how you look at the charts. Better consider the history next time starters. History repeats itself.

"complete regulation" is a scary term for a lot of us.
Not actually if it's not that tight. Most crypto investors parry on regulation because of the things it wanted to them or the huge taxes squeezing them. If this country has nice regularities for crypto this will surely work. Now I am excited for 2019.

...but I do hope that developments and cool projects continue to rise on the cryptocurrency sphere even if the price continues to stall. There's more to bitcoin and crypto than price alone, and we already witnessed several great projects come to fruition due to their inspiration from the said tech.
Same here! been waiting for a cool project where we can really use bitcoin. Been seeing this VRChat gameplays on youtube and just watched ready player one movie. I hope they combined! I wanted to buy stuff with bitcoin soon thru a virtual world.

It must be hard to say because in the first place bitcoin is decentralized. We will not know how many hold bitcoin honestly.. oh wait, how about the current number of addresses created? Can it be extracted from the ledger?
