Congratulations then. That is what plan to do also. Actually I am holding a potential coin right now and only checked it once in awhile and everytime I checked the price there is an increase. So hopefully it will give me also a fortune like you soon. That is the best thing in hodling though.

Yes you are right that almost coins now are going down. I have been researched the cause and as far as I have known, it happened because there are some corrections and due to the issue in south korea. Hopefully, it will be solved as soon as possible and nothing to be scared of. Just keep on holding your coins.

In my opinion and very possible to apply it to myself, I will go for hodling less time in monitoring and can give me huge profit in the future. I may spend time to search for a very potential coins but the thing is, it is a one time bigtime and it is not bad at all.

As of the moment bitcoin has been in dip for how many weeks already and this will the chance for those bitcoiners and to the new adopters to buy, grab the opportunity while it can. And be hopefull that in coming weeks or months it will rise up again.

In trading, every seconds count because the price if crypto currency just keep on chaging every now and then. That is why you need a lot patience if you want to bea successful trader. What you did is same as panic selling. Practice how to hodl. Trade it when it multiples the price, inthat way you will be able to profit more.

What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
I will never give up and stop trading, it hurts when get huge loss but it is normal, everything must be have a risk, and loss will make me learn more so I will not experience the same thing again. Very well said sir/maan. Giving up means your a loser which is not ideal when you are into trading because if you are then you will ended up with nothing. Ofcourse I need to try again and that experienced was a lessons learned to be more careful to study a potential coins to buy to cover up the loss. |

Buy anything that you want for a long time and enjoy your life you deserve it because you have been hard for it for a long time. But make sure to leave atleast half of bitcoin for hodling just leave it like that for you will never know if someday you'll be needing it.

I think 2-3 months is not that long enough in crypto-currency world, long term investment means years but I guess it is worth to wait since that is how it goes in crypto world. But I would suggest you to invest in ethereum because in all altcoin I think eth is the most potential coin.

it's a good thing that you realized that it was a bad buy at 4600$; it should have been a short. but just be patient and don't panic.
Yeah right it is not really a nice move to buy bitcoin on that price, $4600 is too expensive. But next time I suggest everyone most especially the newbies to look and study for the price chart being buying any coins because in that way everyone will be able to analyze if the price is right to buy or to wait for a dip. |

because many of investor in crypto are inpatient specially the newbie one they thinking if they invest in some project that there money become X2 or X10 in a couple of days being inpatient people in crypto world are always lose thier money not understanding the project just thinking of the profit.
Being impatient should not be apply in crypto-currency world. PATIENCE is the key to be successful not just in trading but also it must be apply in general. Just like when we are working as an employee, definitely we need to be patient with our employer because if we're not then we'll be fired right away. |

Definitely not a good idea. You can put the majority of your funds in bitcoin for long term investment and leave the rest of your funds to yourself so that when in times of emergency or you need an important stuff to buy you have something you can pay for.

As far as know there are lots of ways to make money with crypto-currencies but I am not familiar with others on how it works. All I know are trading and investing. In trading well obviously you will buy a potential coins in its lowest price and sell it when it double or multiple times as how much you bought the coins. While in investing, again buy a coins when in dip and hold it as a long term investment.

Everything can be hacked in internet. Hackers has has a big brain and can be able to hacked everything that is why we need to be very careful in giving and confirming information in any transactions. Do not be lazy in reading before you accept confirmation. And safetiness will always be depend on how careful you are especially with your private keys.

Personally I invest in bitcoin the money left after paying all our bills, done with groceries, and ofcourse our chikdren's tuition fees guess that is the life of a responsible family man. And since me and my wife are working here in bitcointalk forum then the bitcoin that we earned as the payment for the campaign will automatically be an addition to our investment.

I agree with most of your points, but not because dumb money is pumping up the price it doesn't mean that bitcoin can't be great. Also, sure, we're definitely currently having a big scaling problem. But who's to say that this won't be fixed in the future? I'm very very upset with bitcoin's current situation, but I'm still a believer; no matter how cringey that sounds. I respect your opinion and your decision though.

Absolutely right, bitcoin price at the moment maybe a little bit scary because it's been a month in dip but I also still a believer of bitcoin and I can feel that bitcoin can cope up with whatever is happening right now. If bitcoin fail then so as all crypto currency because no one will still believe and willing to invest. |

No one can really predict coin price whether it will increase or decrease that is why others may call trading is more like gambling. But to be a good trader is you should have the skill to look and study for potential coins and also to have a lot of patience in whatbyou do.

I got your point but the thing is, you misunderstood the value of bitcoin. Bitcoin is best for investment and not for what you think it is as a payment for your daily needs. Ofcourse you still need to use fiat to pay your bill and to buy your needs since establishment who accept bitcoin is not too plenty yet.

It's still not too late to invest in BTC, even if the market price is really high at the moment. You could still spare a good amount of investment in buying them and HOLD, which I'm also currently doing. Besides, we are nearing the last month of 2017 (December), and if you are not aware, it is forecast-ed that the market price will reach $10,000 or even more. Heck, it is already $9.8k as of this typing.  You can also experiment investing with Altcoins, which I believe will survive, once after the BTC price surge is over and remain constant. Yes definitely right. Bitcoin is still the best coins among all other coins. As of the moment bitcoin price is in dip so this is the right time for the new adopters to buy bitcoin. Because we will never know that in a month or 2 the price will be rocket high again. |
