301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: December 26, 2017, 02:42:18 PM
Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets.
The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.

Technically speaking bitcoins cannot replaced gold because they are just artificially made while gold are not. They might be the prime in yhis moment of time but in the future when bitcoins are not popular anymore gold will still exists and people need gold because gold can also be used as fashion and a lot more not just an investment. But that is great for a long term invest be a in the future there will be an instance that we will run out of gold to mine and the gold we need is im the person who invest it.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: December 25, 2017, 02:34:22 PM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

I think bitcoins can be used internationally and as a matter of fact bitcoins are already used internationally. There are some transactions that are being done in the whole wide world and it is really accepted by a lot of people. But as an international currency i am not convinced that the bitcoins are gonna make it like that because people are volatile and being volatile is also includes falling and falling is a hard part. And people do not wanted that and the government will also not allow that so it is hard to be like that

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1081010912055662&id=163550757135020

304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Ethereum Wallet To Use? on: December 25, 2017, 12:12:20 PM
I want to buy Ethereum.  I have bitcoin and i use electrum to store my bitcoins.  i find electrum pretty simple to use as i send/receive BTC with it.  I like the fact that you can restore you btc with the 12 word phrase etc.

I would like to download a wallet to store ETH where its very similar to how electrum does with bitcoin.  Can someone name me the best wallets to use to store ETH?

From what i read online, jaxx seems to be okay?  What about myethereum.org?  However someone told me they downloaded it but it took them several days to download it.  So this is the case with everyone?  I would want to download something like electrum for ethereum.  I do not want to download anything that is very complicated as im not tech savy person etc.

If you are gonna talked about the most convenient wallet and the easiest wallet to used if you are gonna hold some ethereum you are talking about the myetherwallet.com because from the name itself ether it is obviously pertaining into ethereum so that is the best wallet that suits the ethereum holders. And not just ethereum but all those altcoins so that would be very nice to you if you use this. And it is tried and tested by yours truly and all of my friends too and i am betting that almost the half of the ethereum holders used this too.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverments to go AGAINST Bitcoin on: December 25, 2017, 11:28:34 AM
Is there any chance goverments to go against bitcoin if they see its something against them??

Yes there are as a matter of fact there are a government that banned bitcoins because they are against it. And that government js of course the Chinese governmenti do not know the exact reasons why do they banned bitcoins but of course the main reason of it is they do not want it and in order to stop it they need to banned it to prevent their prime but look what happen after that, the bitcoins still rises even if the chinese are not there it means that even if the government tries to ban it, it depends to the poeple if that would be destroyed.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: December 25, 2017, 08:24:25 AM
In trading how do you know if it is time to still hold or is it the right time to sell? Do you go buy your profit margin  or actually wait for the highest possible peak?
For example if you're earning like 10% of your investment, would you just sell or would you be interested in waiting and seeing if it goes more up so you could earn more, in doing that its possible that it may go down and you then earn like 5-8%
But what is your process in this? How do you go about hold and sell timings?

It is Christmas day so a lot of people especially bitcoins holders are gonna sell their holdings that is why the bitcoins are falling nowadays because of that phenomenon. But me i cannot sell my bitcoins even if i wanted to because i do not wanted to cut off my loss because that would be a huge money for me and selling my bitcoins is not the right thing to do. I just need a lot of patience and i took this opportunity to buy bitcoins because their value are discounted so i can but them in a lower price.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: December 25, 2017, 07:12:26 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

Ues absolutely they are the start of the new era of the currency because they are the first virtual currency that explode like this and almost all around the world there are a persons that used bitcoins and theur value makes them more popular because they are volatilw and their value is freaking expensive these days that started from just a worthless thing that came all the way to the top. That makes them the new era of the currencies but i doubt that they are gonna be an officials money if the real currencies create their own digital versions.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: December 25, 2017, 04:07:06 AM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .

Yes it is good way to invest our money because theybare volatile and the hype is still there because they are just starting to make their name in the society and the people trust are there so it is also a advantage from us. Because having the trust of the people is very important they will always go in bitcoins even if they are falling just like what are happening today. Bitcoins price are low and falling but the people are still holding and still calm because they know that bitcoins can go all the way through the top again.
309  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: December 25, 2017, 02:57:49 AM
We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

The disadvantages of bitcoins are also their advantages that everyone said them being volatile and being decentralized because look at yhe value of bitcoins now they are falling so hard after reaching $20k in the market and that is because the bitcoins are not stable. And them being decentralized means that illegal transactions are freely moving all over the world the crimes the drugs all the illegal things that can be bought on the black market can noe use bitcoins in order for them not to be track by the government.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: December 24, 2017, 06:51:19 AM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.

The advantages of bitcoins is them being decentralized and being volatile yes those were also their disadvantages but still an advantage for some reason because being decentralized means being not incline in the government and it means no tax at all so we have a freedom with our own money we can do whatever we wanted im our money without them controling us. And being volatile in a positive side means your holdings our money can grow and can be an investment because its value are no stable and can do buy and selling too.

312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: December 24, 2017, 01:15:07 AM
For those that buy bitcoin last week when the price fell and was dump to $1,785 can now take profit as from https://coinmarketcap.com is currently $2,750. Thank God for another blessing!

Yes bitcoins go to the moon last weeks but look at them now it is like they ran out of gas and tbey are falling hard this time. I am keeping myself calm because i am hoping that the value will arise again and i am looking forward to see bitcoins going to the moon again before this year ends because i have a lot of holdings and i do not want that to be wasted that easily. Bitcoins in the moon are no lt impossible just trust me the Christmas hype is just there that is why the bitcoins are losing their price after this we will be in the moon again.
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price bubbled? on: December 23, 2017, 04:34:58 PM
When can you say the price of bitcoin is already or nearly bubble?

Do you expect that the price will dump in coming years?

Edit: On this year how is the bitcoin value soaring ... What I mean is how fast....

We are already experiencing the bitcoins dump and i do not wanted to think that they are like a bubble because if that happen all  my money in bitcoins will end up into none. And that would make me craxy because i spend almost all of my 2017 in gaining a lot of bitcoins and now i am lossing money because of that fall. But i expect that before this year ends the value of the bitcoins will rise again and will go back to their top price and a lot of rumers are saying that bitcoins will go $50k and i am looking forward to that.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: December 23, 2017, 03:18:47 PM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

Bitcoins will come to an end just like any other things in this world but not this time this is yheir strongest year for me and they are just getting started to make their own name in the world and they will not come to an end yet i think that it will be decades before that thing happens. Because a lot of people especially businessmen and businessminded like thing thing they invested in these and make monwy out of it. A lot of people wants an easy money and bitcoins can provide that thing that is why they are growing.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 23, 2017, 01:44:39 PM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2017, 11:29:02 AM
Bitcoin has been around the borders of financial markets for less than a decade, but is slowly gaining importance as an alternative asset class.
Can the government of any major country step in and do the unlikely?

Yes bitcoins can be banned by the government and as a matter of fact the Chinese government already banned bitcoins in their country and i do not have an idea if it is banned till now but those banning makes the bitcoins fall. I that time bitcoins are struggling and a lot of people are panicking and selling all their bitcoins but look what happen after a month bitcoins came back with a tremendous rise and those people think that the bitcoins are that easily to destroy they are all wrong

318  Economy / Economics / Re: The legalization of bitcoin. on: December 23, 2017, 06:27:56 AM
Do you think if we create an initiative group for the legalization of bitcoin. To find uninhabited island, to announce the collection of funds for its acquisition. Everyone who contribute will receive a piece of this island. Based on the state of Bitcoin official currency of this state to make a bitcoin. Do you like this idea?

The bitcoins are purely legal in our country and as a matter of fact we have a banks that accept bitcoins in exchange into cash and that bank named security bank here in the Philippines and we can easily get our money into an atm machine and that is pretty conveniently because even if we do not have any stores that accept bitcoins as a payment we have a bank that convert bitcoins into real cash so we can buy thing that we wanted using our bitcoins and that is pretty much legal for me.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is everyone "Cashing out" on: December 23, 2017, 05:14:55 AM
Just noticed a sudden drop in all the top cryptos, is there a large cash out for fiat in progress??

Maybe a lot of people today are cashing out because the Christmas day is coming and they all need money and look at the value of those coins not just bitcoins but almost all those successful coins are getting red in the market and i am getting nervous because all of my holdings are red in the market and i already loss a lot of money that i should have but i choose to trust them because that is the best thing i can do to trust them and i hope before this year ends their value will be worth expensive again as they are last time.
320  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Bitcoin be ban? on: December 23, 2017, 02:08:50 AM
Can Bitcoin be ban?

Yes it can be banned and it is really banned in China before and i do not know if they are still banned today but yes bitcoins can be banned by the government especially when they bring the trust that bitcoins are involve in some illegal things like drusg trafficking and some illegal transactions because bitcoins are decentralized which means untraceable but when some people said it and it has a proof and it has been proven the bitcoins will be absolutely banned in that country but banning things are just not permanent it is just a temporary thing.
