301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: July 09, 2018, 04:56:50 PM
BCH has a long way to fall yet. It still trades on hype ATM. Floor should be somewehre around 0.06btc IMO.

I disagree... 0.055 was the initial sell off bottom at the start of August 2017.... Then next time BCH got sold off support took over at 0.06.... This April support came in on 0.09 and now we are not falling below 0.1 it seems.... next threshold will be a pump above 0.2 which will be the new bottom going forward imo...

Game theory suggests that the market will push BCH towards (a degree of) parity with BTC soon enough... Not even because of a flippening but merely because the market can do this and there are insane amounts of profit to trade of such a swing...

Unless you borrow your ideas and opinions from talking heads in the eco system, any critical analysis tends to show what is written on the wall... BCH trades on fractal patterns, like BTC from 2009-2014... every fractal dwarfs the previous one...a $10k BCH per coin will happen sooner than later

That's not game theory, that's wishful thinking. Unlucky for you, people aren't interested in centralized currencies especially when confirmed scammers/liars/fraudsters are the main promoters of them.

Bcash (BCC) is no different than Bitconnect (BCC) and will also share the same fate.

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen a legendary member say. This just goes to show why Bitcointalk is headed nowhere.

Ah here now.You dont really believe that do you?

Faketoshi is dumping all his stack to pay for that lambo and all those yachts and planes he charters so he can take selfies of his lard ass while giving you all the fat finger  Grin Grin

And to pay his employees at nchain? Craig Wright is heavily invested into Bitcoin Cash development. Why would someone doing so dump their share?

I think you’ve got Craig Wright and FluffyPony mixed up. Craig Wright is the good looking Australian Dude  (no homo)

Keep in mind Craig Wright tried to start the first ever Bitcoin Bank in 2014. Satoshi or not (which is unconfirmed either way)  he’s got serious capital. Given he’s actually a cryptographer/mathematician, I’m sure he knows how to manage his capital.

My Story of Being Tortured in Prison. Roger Ver, CEO of Bitcoin.com
This is a brief story of what happened while I was in prison. I have more stories to share, if you enjoy this type of content.
Shocking.
Can't a few hundred millions afford a place (or hotel or whatever) with less horrible curtains? Really shocking.
P.S.: Interesting story though.
I will admit that Roger is a decent story teller; however, he does not really seem to understand the concept of "torture."
On the other hand, even if he can show that he has various human characteristics and he is empathetic, a lot of this can end up being a distraction (and an appeal to emotion) that takes us away from considering the narcissism that seems to motivate his ongoing involvement in bcash and using bcash as an ongoing attack on bitcoin and deceiving other people (especially dumb people and newbies.. and probably even traps some smarter people into such deceptions in their hopes that bcash will pump relative to bitcoin if they realize the difference) into believing that bcash is some kind of "bitcoin"
Starts off "I am roger ver CEO of bitcoin.com"  do websites have CEO's?  or is he pretending to be important in bitcoin.
Lost my sympathy closed window minutes later, f off loser liar

I feel sorry for roger, been a lot of pressure on him, unsure if it is self inflicted though.
All I got out of that was
Blah, Federal, Blah, Federal, Federal, Blah Blaaaaahhhhh I was brainwashed its not my fault.

Please stay away from the door knob

In reality,  I ran for California state assembly in 2000 as a Libertarian / Voluntarist.
I said enough to upset the feds so much that I became the only person in the USA to be prosecuted for selling a legal product
that was also being sold by hundreds of other companies across the USA including http://www.cabelas.com/
http://www.justice.gov/criminal/cybercrime/press-releases/2002/verPlea.htm
There is no freedom of speech.
This is why the world needs Bitcoin, and this is why I support bitcoinfoundation.org

Here is why I think BCH is Bitcoin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vufeM92bfJw

I gave clear and consise reasons why I think that is the case.  Feel free to refute them with logic and evidence.

Yeah Ok

Not that the most decentralized blockchain is the real bitcoin

The one that holds all the illegal transactions from Silk Road

the one that can incriminate some very very big people

Leave the real blockchain alone, gotta catch the criminals (do not protect them)

He wants to hide the truth, the real blockchain
watch the market move see if this news hits home

crims around the world keep putting their foot in it
so many arrests, resignations, suicides, they are panicking, something big coming for them all

so weird a world we live in now, the good winning

Roger just made a raw video about traumatic experiences and you cannot construct a half decent sentence with respect to any counter argument? Are you prepared to publish that on the blockchain or just here on shitcointalk?

Having said this,

Does anyone want to publish this spectific thread on a blockchain related BCH forum such as yours, memo or blockpress?

This might encourage posters to publish beyond their first beer and airdrop incentives.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: July 06, 2018, 12:45:25 AM
If the average fees of BCH is 0.20$. And if it is use for everydaytransaction.
Knowing that an average person might have 100 transactions per month for every day usage
It would mean that somebody would pay 20 $ every months for using BCH ?
Who would accept to pay 20 $ per month of payment fees ?
Knowing that in the december 2017 peek, the average transaction fees was 0.80 $.
If widely used and accepted , it might even cost 80 to 100 $ every month just for transaction fees ! Its seems ludicrous to think BCH or even Litcion would be used widely for every day usage.
IMO.

But they are not. That’s not even close. Fees are less than a cent and block size has been significantly increased since December 2017. Go to Bitcoin.com and download the BCH wallet and receive a free ~$0.10 transaction if you want proof. You have 2 posts and you are 0/2 on validity of content. Stick to your other account.

Miners still mining BTC when BCH is 2 -4x more profitable to mine What could be the possible explanation for this?

I can´t find anything near to your stats. BTC is still more profitable to mine. Especially if you keep in mind the terms of future safety and media awareness. BCH is not more than a regular P&D altcoin right now

I’d say you’re punching pretty high with those accusations ‘Zetochain.’

You’d think the presale would at least be enough to fund the website. Looks like the pyramid has already collapsed.

Unless you believe Bitcoin Cash is the original Bitcoin, then Bitcoin Cash is still less than 1 year old, and as the 4th highest behind 3 coins much older then Bitcoin Cash, this makes Bitcoin Cash the most successful cryptocurrency this year by its marketcap.

People don't like bitcoin cash because no one likes backstabbers. If bitcoin cash was run by a decent person with high morals and stability it would have already done the flippening, and we would be talking about real virtual currency.
The thing is everyone of us loved bitcoin. We used it and show in it a future currency. This probably won't happen as devs wanted the easy way of making money, lost vision and started talking about "store of value" bs.
Still there is a correct way to respond and there is a wrong way. And what happened in November was totally the wrong way and this will affect bitcoin cash for decades.

Fully agree with you, at the end of the day, it's not all about money.

No, we are talking about ‘Cryptocurrency’ here, it is in fact, ALL about money.

Feel free to find out how e.g. memo or blockpress are using the new op codes.

More is coming for SBI exchange or colored coins on BCH and their atomic swaps...

We are at there very start of crating more usability / programmability to the only scalable distributed non-security coin on the planet with true on-chain safety.

i feel like bcash just tries to rehash old btc features no one will ever use for anything in the real world =) ha

Yeah, like significantly lower fees and faster transactions.

doge is better for this * Wink lol

You’re a 0/10

i bet doge is faster and lower fees Wink ~thats the best you got?

I’ll take that bet. I think you’re confused with the typical argument that ‘Bitcoin Cash’ has less daily transactions then Dogecoin. (Measured on 1 day sometime recently). But despite 4 different ‘news sources’ publishing such news, this argument fails to acknowledge the value transferred relative to fiat value. It’s really just headlnes for those who are easily mislead. Also, there are many Doge faucets that spit out doge instantly for anyone to suck on along with an endless supply that keeps pumping out daily. Hence the high amount of Dogecoin transactions per day. You’re trust rating is a -4 so 0/10 isn’t that bad. I’ll stop going after the bait.

Bitcoin Cash also looks weak, but the technical indicator MACD is above the 0 axis, and behind 883 dollars, investors can buy it without breaking it.

Please feel free to share your TA with us via chart/drawings.

No other coin has come close to what bch has achieved in a very short period of time. I still believe it will be another btc. Used by many industries. Infrastructures are being made everywhere, as what btc did in the last 10 years. Give bch another 2 years and it is ready to compete with btc head on. Like today, even bear season, bch holds on to its value close to $1k. Very solid indeed.

But how many people are actually USING Bitcoin cash for buying products? Is BCH's user adoption REAL or is it just a mega speculation? There are the real questions to be answered.

This is a good point, I’ve been booking flights with Cheapair.com but I’m feel like many are quite hypnotical with using Crypto for the exchange of goods and services. This ‘HODL’ idea has to be the most sociopathetic movement ‘lets all hold because none of us will sell, even once we hit the moon.’ Sure, it’s been working well so far but as we are seeing it’s not sustainable and it’s the the complete opposite to encouraging the use of Crypto in the everyday exchange for goods, services and remittance.

The Bitcoin Cash coin project itself is good, the environment for encrypting the money market is not ideal, BCH is the leader in the payment field market, and the next market market value of the bull market is beyond the BTC

The entire crypto-currency market depends on the movement of the BTC, while bitcoin will fall, we will not see a rise in BCH

Unless more exchanges use trading pairs with BCH  Wink
