Everyone should update their wallets even if it is not mandatory update. It gets better and better with every version, it is faster and supports more options.
Just do a backup first, just in case if anything goes wrong. It will probably not, but you know how they say, devil never sleeps.

Yes that is true, this bear-dumping trend has been now lasting for a while and i am afraid it is not over yet. Its not the price that what worries me, it the buy ask volume that is keep getting lower and lower. It's surely does not bring confidence among investors. People are riding the BTC wave prior to the split by getting out of whatever alts they were holding. 13-14 days till the split, then alts should bounce back  I have heard the split is actually projected on or around October 24th, so it might not be that much longer. The alt markets should recover quite a bit after that. Good time to gather some Onions. |

What is the best to backup your likecoin wallet? I want to be sure that I would not lose my coins if some untoward things will happen to my computer. Also what if I want to transfer my likecoin to another computer?
Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Likecoin\ and save the wallet.dat file in a safe place. If anything happens to your computer, you can reinstall Likecoin wallet and replace the new wallet.dat file with old one and your coins will be there. Is the same thing as using the "backup wallet" link from within the wallet itself? I'm assuming it is, but just want to confirm. |

We thank you for your continuous support of the DeepOnion.  Isn't that plain English? lol While it's plain English the problem with that message goes a long way. The message is to vague. It doesn't tell users anything specific that they would need to do in order to fix it themselves (key word.) So lets say I got a reply that I was rejected due to low quality of posts. I know what I must work on without any further assistance. If I got a rejection due to not having 10 posts in a week. Same thing. What happens right now is all these people do what? Open up a ticket to find out why there were rejected so they can try fixing whatever it is. This unnecessarily creates more tickets and longer responses time on top of Moderators spending more time answering something that could have been automated vs. spending more time doing productive things like creating content promoting the Onion and everything associated with it. In any support industry its essential to let user fix as much of the issues as they can before contacting you for help. It cost time and money to personally deal with each user that contacts you. It's a standard business practice. I agree, it would be much more efficient if there was more of an explanation, that way the rejectee wouldn't bother the mod team with more questions. |

a lot people want to buy. so we need a working exchange as opposed to nova style.
I'm sure the devs are looking at getting on a new exchange, if not now then very soon. They had said a few weeks ago that once they were done with DeepVault and DeepSend(?) they would be concentrating on getting new exchange, hopefully that's where they're at now. Regardless of HODLing and the 10% rule, it would do us a world of good for people to buy in independent of the airdrop, and for us to have multiple exchanges we can point at when people inevitably ask what exchanges we are on. Yes i think so... obviously they want others exchanges too but i think we just need patient because i see them do all what they say their roadmap is very good and punctual, but patience will be rewarded guys Exactly, as long as the dev team meets their roadmap goals, we will be fine, more than fine, once we do list on additional exchanges. We are just starting to roll! |
