301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 23, 2019, 01:21:50 AM
I would love to do this if only I am profitable in gambling, I mean, a profit that I can consistently make whenever I play.
Dominating is never a problem if we can make easy money in gambling, that's sharing coming from easy money in gambling.

Right now, I am still experimenting but I am still not so consistent so I can't say that I can donate.
When times comes that I am very lucky to win a big amount, donating 10 or 20% of my profit is fine with me.

Yes donating isn’t a problem to people like you but not all gamblers think that way, some may think that it’s rather to keep them or even spend it again in gambling rather than donating them. I would also agree that in gambling you get more losses than winning so it also made it very difficult to get profits in gambling sometimes if you win big it is not even equal to all your profits, so I guess gamblers can’t donate a portion of it, perhaps it would be the owners of the gambling sites that can donate to charities because they are surely the ones who are very profitable.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 22, 2019, 02:03:01 PM
There are a lot of ways to increase you bitcoins depending on your preference. Since you are already a member of this forum then you can participate in bounty and signature campaigns that pay bitcoins. Another way to increase bitcoin is buying them directly, if you have a decent amount of money then you can use it to buy bitcoins to increase your investments. Also, you can do trading, with the markets volatility you can take advantage of the market movement and get profits even if the price moves almost every hour.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: October 22, 2019, 01:35:27 PM

This property is too much dangerous for any entity which is holding Bitcoin. If a company sells products/services of 10000$ and receive payment in Bitcoin, and bitcoin loses 10% in one day then basically company has lost 10% worth of their products.

And what if the scenario is the opposite, then the company profited 10%.  The high volatility of Bitcoin had been known for years.  And this is not a huge problem for business establishment because they can auto convert the Bitcoin payment to cash if they are too afraid to loss some percentage value.  And from this, several third party platform thrives.  So basically, this volatility serves as an opportunity to other company to take profit of the booming market of Bitcoin while protecting merchants from Bitcoin's insane price fluctuation.

It’s actually a win win situation, yes it is true that if the company who accepted bitcoin as a payment will lose 10% worth of products if the value decreases but it is the same when the price rises and if they got lucky they can profit more than 10% depending on the price of bitcoin. Based on my observation the acceptance of bitcoin is relatively increasing which only means people are now starting to fully understand the system of bitcoin and that they are now realizing the possibility of having financial freedom through bitcoin.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem gamblers what can we do to help them help theirselves? on: October 22, 2019, 12:50:40 PM
The thing that we can do to help problematic gamblers is to provide constant reminders of what gambling is and what is the effect if they will continue what they are doing but mind you it might be hard because most of the can’t appreciate the reminder and they might think that you reminding them the pros and cons of gambling as very helpful. However, if the person involve is a close family member then better seek professional help for them.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: October 22, 2019, 12:12:48 PM
You can prevent it if you have discipline or you have strong self control. The reason most people lose everything its because they’re taken by greed and thinking that they will really win and sometimes some is very desperate to earn big or recover the lose and they gamble all their money without really thinking about the consequences. To a gambler it is very difficult to resist the thought that maybe they will win if they do just act, even gamblers who have a concrete plan but still can’t resist the temptation. IMO, it really depends on the person who he/ she can control himself.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 20, 2019, 04:54:24 PM
So far I have never won a big amount in gambling.
I remember a few years ago I was active in one game platform, and there was a member who said tha  he was build a house after decided move to village, he hard to get loan from Bank to start  agriculture, I donated but not much all is from gambling result.
This story not to tell that I'm generous but to tell people gamblers is not a bad person.

Gamblers may have opted to a bad way of earning money but it doesn't mean they are a bad person. Gamblers have different reason why they gamble, some want to have fun and play, some also are so desperate to change their life to a better one and they see gambling as the only option. For me, gamblers can still be good samaritans and donated if not all then perhaps a small percent of their winnings, we can't blame them they also have their needs thus, it is impossible that they donate all of there earnings. Anyways, it doesn't matter how big or small the donation but what's important is that not all gamblers are bad.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just type 'bitcoin' in youtube and sort the view by week and then by day :> on: October 20, 2019, 04:29:27 PM
Well, it is called prediction for a reason, if they say prediction then it is what there opinion about the price but it doesn't mean it will happen. Mate don't trust all the videos you see because it will only disappoint you, besides, vloggers can earn if they have a lot of viewers or subscribers so they will really make the video title as catchy as people to catch many viewers.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: October 20, 2019, 03:18:23 PM
Maybe bitcoin will be gone and that a new coin will become the king. As we all know that nothing lives forever and change is the only thing that's constant so it could be that something is sure to change, it could be that bitcoin will be very popular and it will be considered a mode of payment or it will vanish like other coins, we really can't tell but for now let's just enjoy what bitcoin is now.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity VS tracing transactions. on: October 18, 2019, 04:03:01 PM
One of the reasons why bitcoin is loved by many is it's anonymity, a lot want to be anonymous as to protect there personal information aside from that performing KYC is quite complicated at times and it has risk of getting hacked by hackers or scammers. If we really look at bitcoin at a larger scale, we can see that bitcoin provides more good benefits and security but the only problem is that not all people understand it and that they don't trust bitcoin enough because of all this fraud going on using bitcoin, scammers seems to have taken advantage of the anonymity of bitcoin transactions to defraud people. Anyways, IMO, I would still fo with being anonymous rather than tracing transactions.
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 18, 2019, 02:26:23 PM
Patience is the key in bitcoin so I would suggest to be patient a little more, i'm sure bitcoin will recover and it may reach more than 20k, it may happen in the coming days or perhaps months just wait a little longer. This is not the time to lost faith in bitcoin because it will surely bounce back. If incase you needed money then might as well participate in bounties and signature campaigns so that you are earning while waiting for the price to reach $20k.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Capacity to Kill Bitcoin! on: October 18, 2019, 01:46:42 PM
Bitcoin is a technology that benefited a lot of people and it is hardly killable. The government has been trying to regulate and try to destroy it by spreading only bad news or scam surrounding bitcoin and kept those good news and good benefits it caused to people but look, bitcoin still stand on it's ground and it is getting stronger as the day past.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: October 18, 2019, 01:21:58 PM
bitcoin will replace all these traditional online payment processors such as Paypal, Apple pay,... soon and it won't matter if they adopt blockchain technology themselves. for example even if Paypal turned into a token it still wouldn't change anything about its replacement by bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized and it also doesn't have the huge disadvantage of them which is charge back ability.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin has all the qualities to easily replace the traditional online payment methods available currently but the problem most people who don't really understand how bitcoin operates and its nature is the volatility of its price. Due to this, majority are scared to adapt using it for their transactions. And others invest in it rather than using it to pay for their transactions online.

It is true that there still a lot of people who don't understand how bitcoin works so it is impossible now to change traditional payment processors to bitcoin but I think it is only a matter of time for this to happen. Our technologies are advancing and people now are more open to new technology thus, it is not impossible that people will adopt bitcoin and that maybe in the future will use bitcoin as mode of payment.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: October 18, 2019, 01:02:42 PM
crime has always increased not only in cryptocurrency but also in fiat money transactions. and I don't think we can avoid this because in this world there will always be bad people who want to get money quickly without working. what we need to do is improve our security system. and always be careful in every transaction. and in my opinion news like this does not affect the price of bitcoin. because this news may not necessarily be just an issue.

Precisely the point, scam is increasing I think almost everyday, especially that crypto is being popular now so scammers are targeting those new investors who doesn't have much knowledge yet about crypto. Crimes and scams are inevitable whether we like it or not that is why it is very important that we should all be careful in choosing the projects that we want to take part too.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: October 18, 2019, 11:14:47 AM
Scam alone is already a global issue so when cryptocurrency was born then scammers shift to crypto scams knowing that they can easily scam a lot of people most especially newbies. As a piece of advice, it pays to really read and research on anything before entering into any projects. It is very important to be careful in choosing ICO as to not waste time on something not legit.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 18, 2019, 10:45:37 AM
Ironic, bitcoin is by far the most reliable thing I know and yes bitcoin is created for peer to peer transaction but it doesn't mean you can't spend. Bitcoin is a digital currency and when we say currency that means we can use it as a mode of payment. Not all may not understand and trust bitcoin and it's okay it's there lost anyway, besides we owned and earn bitcoins so we can use it in whatever way possible may it be for peer to peer transactions or spending it because that's how continue the circulation of bitcoins in the market.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: October 18, 2019, 09:38:01 AM
I believe so too, bitcoin will be with us for many many years, bitcoin has been with us through thick or thin for 10 years now and i think it will never be extinct because it provides prosperity to most people's lives. Bitcoin will have a very bright future and that the price will be higher in the future.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 18, 2019, 07:39:58 AM
I learned bitcoin way back 2015 but I didn’t put a lot of interest to it because of my friends saying it is a scam and it is just a waste of time knowing it. And then I came across bitcoin again in 2017, I saw like an ad about bitcoin the source of income of a lot of people, it looks very promising to me this, I researched about it and find ways to earn some but since I don’t know anyone who sells it so I earned my first bitcoin through mining and it was pretty amazing, I just tried it just to check if it was indeed legit and it is legit and I didn’t regret taking time researching and earning bitcoin. Now, i’m doing trading using my coins and I can say i’m pretty much successful about it, bitcoin has given me the life I though I will never have.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Gambling Doesn't Ever Exist, What Will You Be Doing Right Now? on: October 18, 2019, 02:55:21 AM
Wooh! This is quite a hard question to answer because we have not been to a path where gambling didn’t exist but I think, if gambling didn’t really exist I would be too focused with work and trying to think of ways to alleviate my lifestyle perhaps do sports for fun, I really don’t know lol.  Also, if gambling didn’t exist then no one will be addicted and no will ever be broke or stressed by it. Gambling has it’s advantages and disadvantages regardless if it exist or not, it’s just the matter of how we handle it.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 17, 2019, 11:45:29 PM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year.
The hype train was long gone after the 2017 bull run.

I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?
Since you already mentioned that you have been buying bitcoin only, maybe it's a good idea to just stick with that plan. There is a slight chance that we see altcoins pumping 3x or 4x again with the increase of bitcoin's dominance.

If you still insist on altcoins, you can follow tbct_mt2's suggestion. If you're going to ask what altcoins you should invest into, it's probably best to just look on your own because you might end up with people shilling their own bags.

The safest coins for me is bitcoin so if you will invest on cryptocurrency then better invest it on something safe & worthy. I’m not saying altcoins aren’t worthy but lets face it, no altcoin has never been so close to what bitcoin is now. We already see a lot of altcoins come and go but bitcoin is still here going stronger and stronger so might as well invest in bitcoin only or if you really want to invest in altcoins then it’ll be fine but make sure to invest on top altcoins.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is Literally Hitting the Road on: October 17, 2019, 04:17:42 PM
If there will be a lot of like this then it would really help a lot in spreading awareness about bitcoin and if taxis or malls will have this ad then those who have not encountered bitcoin will be aware and it could change the mindset of most people about bitcoin. It would then help people realize that bitcoin is a serious thing and that it is not some sort of a scam.
