301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy 100 Walton (WTC) or 100 CLOAK? on: October 17, 2017, 07:38:54 AM
Definitely WTC (walton), cloak has been around for a long time and has never proved itself i think if it was going to it would have by now. In comparison Walton is a fairly new kid on the block and has a lot of dedicated supporters already. Remember hype = demand = price
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Russia beat every country at creating their first national cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2017, 07:30:12 AM
Estonia are considering their own national cryptocurrency too. They might get there before Russia; as a country they are quite forward-looking and not averse to crypto.

That's right, i was about to post that up also. Estonia was planning this two months ago with there own government-backed cryptocurrency called estcoin. If i remember correctly Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin was helping them prepare an ICO for it also.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: A list of masternode supported cryptocurrencies on: October 17, 2017, 07:19:52 AM
Hey criticoflife,

the coinhive script has been replaced with a few coinzilla ads (Link to the advertising network: https://coinzilla.io/).
Neither cpu power nor other ressources are being used in the backround anymore.

Best regards,

Vox

Good to hear Vox. I will now proceed to take a look, i dislike coinhive using my CPU at all haha. Thanks for the reply!
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: A list of masternode supported cryptocurrencies on: October 16, 2017, 06:47:04 AM
Hey guys,

i would like to appologise for using some of your ressources without asking for permission by running the coinhive script in the backround of the website.
I was searching for an ad free alternative to cover hosting expenses, coinhive wasn't really profitable tho, thus i have removed it from the site.

Furthermore the masternodelist has partially been updated. Further updates will come in the next few days.

My apologies & best regards,

Vox

Now that you have replaced coinhive may i ask what you have replaced it with? I don't want to visit your site if you are using my CPU to mine for you. please be transparent with us so we can decide before we visit. Thanks.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WORST LOSS? on: October 16, 2017, 06:35:31 AM
Neo, i bought it right before china cracked down on ICO's and the value plummeted causing me huge losses at the time. Still attempting to recover back to the levels i was at previously now. It's a slow climb just to get back to where i was originally at. Hopefully i can get there in the end. Has taught me to spread/diversify my portfolio more these days ( which is a good thing i guess ) instead of putting all my eggs into one basket.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: anyone else have ICO fatigue on: October 16, 2017, 06:22:51 AM
Just like in real life you have to look for the diamonds in the rough. 99% of ICO's are total rubbish and will never go anywhere but i still get excited when i see a great coin with fantastic future potential. It can be tiring scrolling through pages of fake airdrops and pump n dump ICO's but i still believe it is a fantastic way to find a truly valuable coin/token if you look hard enough. Don't lose hope guys the x100 is somewhere out there. Right now i'm looking into Jetcoin which has been around for a long time but is re-inventing itself with some new strategies/ideas.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia making it's own Crypto currency - CryptoRuble on: October 16, 2017, 06:08:59 AM
It looks to me like russia is trying to control the crypto currency market in there county which i think is a bad thing. The thing that is good about crypto currencies is that they are decentrilized so what is the point of this coin if it is no different to the current ruble that is in circulation? It is just like the current currencies run by bankers.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any up and coming ICOs that are worth to invest? on: October 15, 2017, 09:29:10 AM
Quite a few good ones going around at the moment. here is a list i am monitoring right now : IQT (iquantchain), hipe, utrust, hero and comsa. But like all ICO's do your due re-search and make sure you think it is a great idea with a solid team behind it before you part with your hard earned cash. GL finding the x100!

310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will omg price $50 end of 2017? on: October 12, 2017, 09:01:26 PM
No way! Would be hard to even reach $30 tbh. 2 and a half months till the end of the year isn't long enough for that kind of growth on OMG just yet. Maybe by the end of next year would be a more realistic goal of $50. Great things coming for OMG in the future though, they are one of the coins i check the progress of every day.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam on: October 12, 2017, 08:42:43 PM
Well i think if there is huge hype around the token/coin that they are promoting and if you make sure it is already listed/going to be listed at exchanges plus you get a good size bonus for buying it than you can't really go wrong. If there is demand for the token, regardless of whether the ICO is a good idea or not than the token/coin has value. That's the things i look for in them.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sell or no?? on: October 12, 2017, 12:43:07 AM
How do you think the future of LISK.
I am holding it but now I am thinking that it is a risk.

Lisk did drop a lot but all coins dropped during that dip, it's already on the way back up on bittrex now. I held my lisk too and will continue doing so. I think LISK has  a high volume being traded so even if it dips a bit it means it still has a lot of ppl interested in this coin. So hold them!
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] JETCOIN signature campaign launch on: October 12, 2017, 12:16:45 AM
Hi, i just tried to add the Jr Member signature to my account but it has been made too long and Bitcointalk automatically cuts half of it off. the official signature will need to be shortened for users to be able to wear it unfortunately. Look at my signature for example, i will leave it like this so you can see what i mean.
Btw i would like to join the bounty for Jr member if possible once the signature is fixed , here are my details :
Bitcointalk username
 : CriticOfLife
Rank : Jr Member

Current post count : 40

JET or MEW Address : 0x7f06e75148c5E64185f23cB1b63C1526eF1fd1aE

thanks.

Try again. Patched.
Done, looking good. I'm Jetcoin promotional ready! Just looking through your website right now, i'm liking what i see. I had heard a little about this coin in a few different social media sites already.

315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Chainlink (LINK) - middleware that connects smart contracts to external world on: October 11, 2017, 11:43:13 PM
I have seen some hype surrounding Chainlink. It does seem rather good from what iv'e read. Still trading at a low price so plenty of room for movement. Here's some information about it from binance that i was reading earlier : https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001798172-ChainLink-LINK- Gotta say i'm tempted to throw a little bit of BTC at this just to see where it will take me.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: AIRDROP 🔷 | 🔷 Ethereum Cash 🔷 | 🔷 AIRDROP THREAD 🔷 ROUND 2 of 4 🔷 on: October 11, 2017, 08:44:05 AM
Applied. Just saw about this on another thread. I missed the 1st round already unfortunately. Oh well at least i got in on the second round it seems. i like the thread layout on the 1st post. Always has more promise if the thread is well written/designed i find. Lets take this coin to the moon people!
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin before the hardfork? on: October 10, 2017, 06:48:09 AM
Bitcoin Gold does sound quite good from what i was reading about it.  It's here to help bitcoin not work against it and as more of a competitor against Bitcoin cash and ethereum. Basically it just makes it possible to mine with GPUs (Graphic Processing Units)  to allow more participants to mine, taking away some of the hash power from the bigger miners who have largely cornered the Bitcoin market. If i hadn't spent all my cash on ICO's recently i would go with some bitcoin right now.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: October 10, 2017, 06:36:14 AM
I just scour the bitcointalk announcement and bounty threads looking for newly released ones than investigate there website/reddit/slack/twitter and facebook and see if they have much community or hype behind them. Than if i think it's a real world application or has huge community support i go for it. Gl finding the right one my friend!
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming ICOs on: October 10, 2017, 06:24:51 AM
Gotta be careful that the tokens will be of use to you after the ICO my friend. Untradeable tokens are no good to anyone. What i look for is that they already have exchanges lined up to list on and if they have a big community behind them. For gaming ones i think HEROcoin is probably the best one to go for at the moment. there is only One week left on there ICO but here is a link there website if you want to investigate it more anyways : https://www.herocoin.io/ Gl finding the X20 prize!
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What percent of ICO have been profitable for you? on: October 10, 2017, 06:14:30 AM
It's about 60% on numbers and 90% amount of profit.
Some crashed faster than I could dump while some never made it to the exchanges.

Yeah, it's important to get ones that are at LEAST going to be listed on an exchange. Untradeable tokens are no good to anyone. I got some of the red pulse other day. they are not on any exchange yet so i hope they do go on one or i just blew a few k on nothing. I think they got promise though, lot of people interested in them.
