301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: May 26, 2019, 05:04:54 PM
And what is the point of this thread? You said ICOs are bad and old altcoins are old.
That means that you should avoid altcoins completely and invest into Bitcoin.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart-contracts in Dothraki : the marketing of PoissonCoin on: May 26, 2019, 04:55:56 PM
After I saw the last episode I do not want hear about Game of Thrones anymore  Grin.
Maybe you came so late with this marketing strategy. No one cares about GOT after the final episode.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trip from 0$ to 100k $ on: May 26, 2019, 04:48:51 PM
There is one mistake, Energi airdrop will be sent after they receive 20 000 registrations in each phase. And that is the problem, I did this airdrop few months ago and still I havenīt received the reward.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: May 25, 2019, 08:57:30 PM
Negative news appear everytime when Bitcoin is pumped. I think that whales try to manipulate media and buyers to get Bitcoin for much lower price. Because when you see that price is growing, you want to buy cheaper, is that right?  Grin
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is best for storing money? on: May 25, 2019, 08:47:30 PM
It depends on the time, how long you plan to store it. For short term speculations you can look for a promising altcoin. For long term only Bitcoin could be recommended.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today is bitcoin pizza day on: May 24, 2019, 06:43:09 PM
We celebrate it with buying pizza with our Bitcoins but from this day we learned that it isnīt good to buy a pizza with Bitcoins because there is a possibility of big growth in the future and you can loose your potentional profit by buying worthless thing - pizza  Cheesy.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: May 24, 2019, 06:37:10 PM
And the most important thing is to work together to help our project grow and not to cheat. Keep on mind that tokens earned in bounty campaign is our salary and its success depends mainly on us!
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: May 12, 2019, 05:58:21 PM
It depends on terms of the loan, if you have to pay off debt in cryptocurrencies or in fiat currencies.
Imagine that you borrow in cryptocurrencies and pay for a mobile phone, then bull market comes and you have to pay for the mobile 5 times more  Cheesy.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pick one. Cardano or EOS on: May 12, 2019, 05:26:30 PM
I do not have experience with Cardano mainnet, never used. But I am actively playing EOSBet game (casino) and I have to say that EOS smart-contract transactions are so faast!  Cool
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange and Hacks on: May 12, 2019, 05:22:33 PM
2019 is yet to experience a massive bull run, however, but it's already beginning to look like the year of the hacks for the crypto community. Hackers have proven to be no respecter of exchange size and reputation with the latest attack on the binance exchange.
Before the hack on binance which saw the hackers taking off with crypto worth 40 million dollars,  the crypto community has previously experienced hacks on coinbene and cryptopia exchange with both parties refusing to state the level of damage and value of crypto assets stolen by the hackers.
The question every crypto enthusiasts should be thinking now is that if hackers can still penetrate almighty binance with all their claims of having the best cybersecurity measures,  is any other centralized exchange safe? What if the binance team didn't have SAFU funds to cater for situations what would have been the fate of affected traders on the binance platform?.
While I leave the floor open for comments and suggestions regarding the subject matter, I would like to quickly chip in that this is a wake-up call for crypto enthusiasts and developers alike. The growing prominence of blockchain technology and crypto will make it a threat to more attacks in the future, and if measures aren't put in place,  this hackers may cause irreversible mayhem to the crypto community in the nearest future. A switch to decentralized exchange with support for multiple blockchains is the best option on my mind right now.
Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on the topic.
Only 40 mil $ were been stolen, it is nothing comparing with the historyīs attacks: Mt.Gox and Bitgrail lost around 500 mil $ few years ago.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin stole my Polymath? on: May 11, 2019, 08:47:42 PM
Of course that you can still get your coins, but I think that it would require your time.
I remember when IDEX delisted a coin and I had to call a smart contract, it was not as easy as I thought. But Kucoin is note DEX, right?  Cheesy
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening? on: May 10, 2019, 09:30:51 PM
Litecoin, for all I know, aspired to be the "fast cryptocurrency that big corporations like Amazon were going to start using". As of today... I feel like Litecoin is essentially dying  Angry I hold quite a good amount of LTC and really don't know what to do with it...

Thoughts?

Edit; I found this nice article that summarizes what LTC has been up to but idk how I feel about this...: https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/whats-happening-with-litecoin/
Are you kidding?
Litecoin is one of the most progressive cryptocurrency in top 10. Halving is coming, my prediction is  another +50-100%  growth. Halving always has a positive effect on the price.  Cool
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: May 10, 2019, 09:22:30 PM
It it something like predicting the result of hockey or football match, you can make a good research but, as always, there is a luck factor...
Also there are 3 options (win, loose or sideway  Grin).
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Binance increase again? on: May 10, 2019, 09:08:11 PM
Bough Binance Coin after a recent crash after a hack. I think that it is the last opportunity to buy cheap Binance Coin and my prediction is that Binance Coin will moon again when they will release the working margin trading.  Smiley
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin reach 6000 this month? on: May 05, 2019, 11:54:42 AM
It already reached 6000USD level on Bitfinex.
But I see that price is pretty diffrent if you would like to by Bitcoin by Tether or by other stable coins for example Paxos - the price may vary by a few percent.  Undecided
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the future on: May 05, 2019, 11:47:59 AM
In the near future people won't have choice but to embrace cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, whether you are in support or not ,whether you hate it or not ,you will be the one to stand up and embrace crypto yourselves without anyone forcing you to ,adoption is simply adoption ,love it or hate it
There are so many solutions that can easily exchange your cryptocurrencies into fiat in a time when you are paying for goods in a shop. For example an addon to a browser which allows you to pay on Amazon with cryptocurrencies. This will definetely help cryptocurrencies with an adoption.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major technical companies and Crypto on: May 05, 2019, 11:43:47 AM
Companies from classic world do not want to miss the opportunity to be at the beginning of a revolution in the financial and technical industry.  Smiley
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: May 04, 2019, 09:23:28 PM
I hope Bitcointalk will start caring about its people ,there should be new moderators that can fish out bad projects on here to avoid wasting time of bounty hunters ,and about KYC ive come to think of it as many bounty hunters don't like KYC I'm sure if Bitcointalk is the one asking for KYC so as to limit frauds and multiple accounts bounty hunters won't complain, we will follow the rules ,but first 'SAFE US FROM BAD SCAMMY PROJECTS' ,no matter how wise we investigate a project they end up been scam ,scammers are getting wiser as well.looook at desico for example Shocked Can anyone tell me if he/she knew Desico is a scam from day one? I guess not
Default trust members are doing their work. They red painted everyone who is confirmed scammer. If you provide a proof to them about someone who is cheating, they will mark them red and you will know that you should avoid him.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IEO: Where should I buy? on: May 04, 2019, 09:12:38 PM
Almost every crypto exchange started with IEO offerings. But I would stay only on Binance that provides the best blockchain projects.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full list of truly decentralized currencies. on: May 04, 2019, 09:05:15 PM
You said Dogecoin?  Cheesy I would not say about dogecoin that it is decentralized. It is centralized enough, its CEO is Elon Musk  Cheesy.
Look at his twitter if you do not believe me.
