301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Reviews, trust them or NOT? on: May 21, 2018, 08:26:00 PM
I don't like ICO reviews and ratings because a lot of them are paid and we can't know which are paid and which are not.
I like the ICO aggregtor sites, because they list all the information about the project in a convenient way though.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY SHOULD YOU BOYCOTT ICOS THAT DEMAND KYC? on: May 20, 2018, 05:46:02 PM
I agree that if you are a serial investor in ICOs, having to send your personal information en masse is a risky business. Especially with all the scammy ICOs.
However, whether to boycott these ICOs or not is a personal decision, that involves some missed profits. I passed on some solely because of the KYC. But did another ones that were too lucrative to pass.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did you realise you were Crypto! on: May 20, 2018, 05:43:51 PM
I have always been anti-conformist and leaning on the edge of being a rebel. So being in crypto was not a surprise for me. I was in, the moment I heard about it and learned a bit more to know what all the guys are doing here. A no-brainer decision for me.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is this SHARDING thing ETH is coming with to keep it as king of alts on: May 20, 2018, 05:42:16 PM
Sharding will help Ethereum fascilitate more transactions. Scalability is an issue that has to be solved, because the network won't be able to handle all the traffic in the near future.
I don't agree that Ethereum is losing momentum compared to other alts. It actually has the best vision for future development IMO.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherum Casper on: May 20, 2018, 05:39:03 PM
Casper is the best consensus protocol I have read. Yes, EOS may take the lead in the short term with the DPOS for the next year or two, because decentralization is not yet what the mainstream world needs, but long-term I am very bullish on Ethereum and Casper.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins just as important as Bitcoin? on: May 20, 2018, 05:37:13 PM
Having competition is important for the development of any ecosystem. The topic is broad and can be viewed from many angles.
Firstly, we can't put all altcoins in one bucket, because most of them don't strive to compete with Bitcoin.
I can say altscoins striving to be currencies are important, because some of them are providing different functionalities than Bitcoin and features that Bitcoin doesn't have for now.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the most interesting altcoin? on: May 20, 2018, 05:22:51 PM
I think WePower have a long way to go before catching up some momentum. And there are another similar projects as well.
I am particularly interested in Skycoin and Rivetz. The first is adding a lot to the ecosystem and the second is a unique idea.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][Bounty]: Official RAcoin project bounty campaign thread on: May 19, 2018, 07:48:14 AM
Hi,
do you accept articles in non-English languages?
Bulgarian? I can guarantee 1000+ views for the article.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube Blogers - [Bounty] on: May 17, 2018, 08:08:12 PM
Cryptobud is doing great 20-25 min reviews, but he is doing a lot of them lately so I think his credibility kinda went down. But anyway, he has a good balance of respect from the crowd and professional presenting. He will definitely agree doing it.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How hard is it to write an ICO whitepaper? on: May 17, 2018, 08:02:45 PM
This is kinda silly question.
If you have an idea and a project, then explaining it should be ABC piece of cake for you. If you are really serious about your idea, you will just hire a tech person or a good writer to draft it for 300$.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Amazon going into crypto raise the value of ETH? on: May 17, 2018, 07:59:34 PM
I don't see any connection between this news and the value of ETH.
If amazon enters the space, trust me, Ethereum can't handle the volumes. And such big companies like amazon never use 3rd party services. They build their own.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time to own EOS now! on: May 17, 2018, 07:55:17 PM
I don't think it is time to get EOS now. The time was a month ago. Everybody knew that the platform is coming. Now everybody will sell the news.
I passed on EOS, because I don't like the team and their ideology, but there was a quick buck to be made.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization or total control? on: May 17, 2018, 07:53:39 PM
There are scammers, terrorist and drug dealers in fiat too. That's how they operate for decades.
So why crypto is any worse than fiat?
Didn't we had all of this before crypto? This is just a very convenient arguement for banks and governments to slow down the adoption of cryptocurrencies.

On the other discussion going on, decentralization systems are slower in governance. Total control systems are faster. Depending on anybody's needs, everyone can choose where to join.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping track of your portfolio on: May 17, 2018, 07:49:40 PM
Cryptocompare has a great functionality just for that. You can add the coins you want to follow.
Today I saw that Coinmarketcap are also adding the feature. I was missing it there.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or LTC long term? on: May 17, 2018, 07:48:20 PM
This can't be even close. LTC is a useless clone. Ethereum is driving the whole ecosystem. The real question is ETH or BTC in my opinion. I can't really decide which one has more potential.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most important rule when buying ICO? on: May 17, 2018, 07:46:49 PM
Lately, I am looking specifically for ICOs that have attracted investments from VCs and funds. If a project has passed their verification and approval, then it should be a good one.
After all, experienced professionals stand behind these VCs and they know what they are doing better than most of us.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Attention Token. on: May 17, 2018, 07:45:08 PM
I am also using the Brave browser now. The team is great, the idea is great and I think from all the influencer/marketing projects, this one has the biggest potential. It all depends whether the browser will get popular and it has all the features to do so in the future. It is in line with all the major trends in consumer habits.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC should not be asked from the Bounty Participants! on: May 17, 2018, 07:42:52 PM
Well, in a perfect world I can agree that bounty participants shouldn't be subject to KYC policy. However, we are getting tokens and from legal perspective there is not much difference if we paid fiat or crypto to acquire the tokens or whether we did some work for it.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of TRON | TRX on: May 02, 2018, 12:39:55 PM
I havent't heard anything new positive thing and all the stuff being said in the past is negative. I just received another airdrop from them. And it seems they get active every time there is a bull market, because this is when they can lure the unsophisticated investors in their project. I am not positive about TRON.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more secure platform in the future, Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: May 02, 2018, 12:37:47 PM
Ethereum are working on better consensus protocols in my opinion. Both platforms are equally secure right now. There will be some risks and uncertainties with the Ethereum's transition to Casper. We will see how it will play out. They are quite more risk-taking than Bitcoin in their approach to scaling.
