Thank you! I have already registered for the community. I just stored the coins in my wallet and didn't do anything. The wallet is not always open, but it is only synchronized once in a while.
You need to have your wallet open and to have it unlocked with the option "for staking only" checked so you can stake. Staking takes time, though, initially you have to let your coins mature for about 24 hours and then your wallet starts staking. However, the 100 coins you've mentioned are not that many when you want to stake, I've been hitting stakes in blocks that are 250 Onions and above and sometimes I have to wait a lot to hit stakes. It would be a good time to buy some more Onions right now, DeepOnion is way undervalued still. |

DO has come a long way, while i don't agree with how the team behaved in the past, the most important thing is that they are still highly active and that their high involvement has not stifled.
DeepOnion is one of the truest representations of what it means to be a cryptocurrency, outside of their moderation efforts (which i've come to an understanding personally).
Moving forward with all their development plans, while sustaining one of the largest communities in crypto is a major accomplishment, and i want to commend the team for their diligent work. It will pay off in the end. Stay vigilant and keep progressing DO community and team.
P.S. they have the leverage to get listed to a high-profile exchange, especially once v.2.0 launches, and I suspect an exchange like Bittrex is inevitable.
A high profile exchange seems possible but I'm not one of the people who would like for such a thing to happen if it costs DeepOnion an arm and a leg. Some exchanges need to get off their high horse and realize that pretty soon no one will be paying these ridiculous amounts of money for a listing that practically promises nothing aside from some temporary advertisement. Exchanges are already feeling the pressure, they're gonna have to lower their listing fees substantially. |

Some members were so nervious about them suspending trading, they thought it's related to Cryptopia and KuCoin when it was just an update. I didn't flinch, there are many more exchanges that listed ONION and many more on the way, while the core team said multiple times that they are in it for the long term. I mean, these are all unrelated. Cryptopia was hacked, Kucoin put DeepOnion “under close monitoring” but didn’t take action to remove it as I saw, and Crex merely wanted to make an update. If people get panicky over actions like these, when a coin like DeepOnion has many more exchanges, then maybe this isn’t the place for them to be. Every minor action would cause them unnecessary stress. |
