When a person gambles he thinks of  the possibility to get rich and to change his life style. And because anything might be possible in gambling that person finds no logical reason for him to stop. Plus the fact that the rewards people get from gambling are variable that motivates most people to start gambling.

Chasing losses means spending more money gambling in order to recover from a period of bad beats. Maybe you’re down $100 and find yourself headed to the ATM to draw out $100 more to win back what you lost. Bad move  Grin
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: December 06, 2017, 01:25:57 AM
To use gambling as a means of entertainment. This is the single most important factor of all. You want to have a good time; you have money; you spend it in a way that you enjoy. This is by far the most common reason for non-problem gamblers to gamble. Casinos are places of entertainment, no different from amusement parks and movie theaters. When you go to the casino primarily to enjoy yourself.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin gambling is legal? on: December 06, 2017, 01:17:53 AM
Some bitcoin casinos are legal. If a bitcoin casino is operated in the same manner as a traditional casino, it will fall under the same laws as if it is a traditional casino. There are no federal laws against online gambling. However, there are some state laws prohibiting the practice.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: December 06, 2017, 01:08:50 AM
Set limits. Its a good idea to set a daily limit to ensure you don't do anything you regret. Write it on your forehead if you have to, but no matter what, when you hit that number, then stop. Also, limit your playing time. Taking a break keeps your mind sharp.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: December 06, 2017, 12:54:42 AM
Gambling nowadays can no longer be considered as only a way of making money. More and more people are beginning to engage in gambling as a source of entertainment. We gamble because we seek the thrill and excitement of playing as well as the emotional and psychological ups and downs of gambling.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 12:44:51 AM
Untraceable financial transactions using bitcoin facilitate crime activity. Drug trafficking, money laundering, tax evasion and other illegal and subversive activity all benefit from the ability to move money in untraceable ways.

309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 12:37:25 AM
If you mistakenly pay someone by using cryptocurrency, then there is no way to get a refund of the amount paid. All you can do is to ask the person for a refund and if your request is turned down, then just forget about the money. When the network is down, your Bitcoins are gone also.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the factors that affect the rise and fall of the BTC? on: December 06, 2017, 12:25:06 AM
The price of bitcoins is largely depended on the demand and supply. This means that high demand and low supply often leads to an increase in the price.Note that bitcoins have a controlled supply whereby the total number of bitcoins in circulation must never be more than 21 million. Due to the limited supply, there are speculations that the bitcoin price will continue to rise with time.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: December 06, 2017, 12:13:50 AM
The first and foremost advantage of Bitcoin is that it can be transferred to any part of the world which makes it easy for anybody to transact in bitcoins. Your purchases are not taxed. Bitcoins are decentralized, meaning there is full freedom of payment, the network is always online and there are no borders or limits when paying. Third parties cannot freeze or block your funds and transactions cannot be reversed. The price of Bitcoin is exclusively determined by supply and demand and not by financial authorities.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: December 05, 2017, 11:03:36 PM
I would suggest Ethereum and Dash. There are a lot of apps being created on Ethereum, which will surely rise the ethereum price by end of this year.

For investment point of view, you should keep most of your investments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash and Litecoin.

Depending on the reason, you could just hold it in a wallet and let it grow. You could monitor cryptocurrency news and look for key indicators for future Bitcoin developments. Unless you plan to quit investing in cryptocurrency, Bitcoins are still significant to the crypto market.
