302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: December 19, 2017, 06:26:58 AM
I do.  Myetherwallet is ERC20 wallet.  I like how I can check my token transactions in etherscan.io or explorer.io.  It is widely accepted in a wider network and secure by linking it with metamask.  It has a simple design that makes it user friendly.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens on EtherScan are accessible on EtherDelta on: December 17, 2017, 01:43:46 PM
Accessibility of tokens on Etherscan is only possible if you link your etherwallet account to EtherDelta. Make a deposit at EtherDelta by linking your account at myetherwallet using your Private Address and Wallet Address thus allowing EtherDelta to access your tokens on Etherscan.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: December 16, 2017, 02:20:53 PM
Bounty Money helps us in our family finances and boost our income.  Just set a certain time in doing simple tasks and earnings comes in.  Dedication and patience is the key to Bounty Money.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS PRICE on: December 16, 2017, 02:05:36 PM
When you send tokens, interact with a contract, send ETH, or do anything else on the blockchain, you must pay for that computation called gas. You are paying for the computation, regardless of whether your transaction succeeds or fails. Even if it fails, the miners must validate and execute your transaction (compute) and therefore you must pay for that computation just like you would pay for a successful transaction. If you want to spend less on a transaction, you can do so by lowering the amount you pay per unit of gas. The price you pay for each unit increases or decreases how quickly your transaction will be mined.

My EtherWallet Behind the Scene shared that during normal times:

40 GWEI Gas Price will almost always get you into the next block.
20 GWEI will usually get you within the next few blocks.
2 GWEI will usually get you within the next few minutes.
During Token Creation Periods, these costs go crazy due to supply / demand:

50 GWEI is the max gas price most new Token Creation Period contracts will accept. Anything above that and your TX will fail. Most is the keyword here—check with the Token Creation Period you wish to invest in before said Token Creation Period begins.

50 GWEI would be the amount you should send in that case.

If you are trying to send during an Token Creation Period (but not to the Token Creation) you have 2 choices: wait a bit until the Token Creation Period is over, or increase the gas price over 50 GWEI.

You can adjust the gas price on MyEtherWallet in the footer via the slider. It is capped at 50 GWEI in order to prevent people tying to send to Token Creation Periods from having all their transactions fail because they don't read anything.

I hope this could help.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta my favourite on: December 16, 2017, 12:39:57 PM
I like etherdelta...the twitter account gives you first hand information of new tokens listed in the exchange.  The etherdelta site is simple yet secure. I was able to learn how to deposit, sell token and deposit the eth back to my etherwallet because they provide tutorial for beginners.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine today?? on: December 15, 2017, 03:27:30 PM
It is safer to mine bitcoin and eth.  This two has a value that is widely accepted.  Mining entails expenses like electrcity, wear and tear of equipment, and internet fees.  Mining other digital currency entails risk value that could deplete one's resources.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA is the next big thing on: December 15, 2017, 03:19:46 PM
It is really refreshing to note that IOTA has made a milestone in removing scaling limitations for processing more transactions and making the network faster.  It is truly different in offering zero fee transactions irregardless of the bulk of the transaction.  I hope that with this innovation, IOTA will make the necessary security and preventive measures that could prevent traffic in the system because of the possibility to transfer value without fees.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: December 13, 2017, 05:40:58 AM
I think BTC can never be a national currency although it is a widely accepted digital currency.  National currency has a reserve of physical gold in the national treasury of a certain country or single administrator while BTC works without a central Bank or single administrator.  On the other hand, national currency transactions are physical and known while BTC transactions are anonymous.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King and Ethereum is Queen , Do you agree ? on: December 13, 2017, 05:21:43 AM
For now maybe.  Bitcoin is a digital currency that rules the world because of its wide acceptance in the digital network while Ethereum compliments the Bitcoin because it is a convenient digital currency exchange for other alt coins to be converted to Bitcoin.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TNG][AIRDROP][ICO] TangleCoin - Smart Construction Technology on: December 12, 2017, 06:27:56 AM
This is a project to watch for.  Crypto built on solid ground can be progressive in the future.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC $100000 this 2018? on: December 11, 2017, 03:09:50 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will reach $100000 this 2018.  It is very unstable although it has been accepted in a wide range of network.  The rapid change or growth that it has today can go down too if it could not protect itself from unrecognized transactions that could harm the bitcoin fungibility .  The history of the past has a lesson too.  There are always a possibility for its demeanor while other crypt  are getting a stronghold to be recognize as a digital exchange in the banking institution.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptokitty on: December 10, 2017, 11:45:14 AM
Cryptokitty is a new fad in the cryptoworld.  I love to join the new fad but hesitant because I have to install metamask as an extension of my chrome browser.  I am new to this application and since I am a bit conservative, I have to learn first the advantages and disadvantages that it could provide me.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: December 10, 2017, 11:33:22 AM
I love to have a miner on my phone but it is too risky.  There are apps that access the root system of the phone and could trigger a resetting of the device.  It also slows down your phone cpu and affects other phone apps.

Looking forward for this project and thank you for the generosity.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Transaction with MyEtherWallet is Pending on: December 09, 2017, 12:45:24 PM
There are many reasons for a pending transactions. Maybe you lack gas or gwei or not enough ETH in your wallet to buy gas. Lastly, too much traffic in the network.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most promising cryptocurrency on: December 09, 2017, 12:27:14 PM
BTC still comes first since it is marketable in almost any country.  Ethereum is also needed to get BTC and usually needed as gas to trade ERC20 coins.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have lost hope in ETHEREUM - Pending transaction won't complete on: December 09, 2017, 12:15:51 PM
I know that their are other alternatives to solve the problem.  Slowing down of the system nowadays has affected transactions but this is natural since it is now year end and a time for folding transactions.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: December 08, 2017, 03:03:16 AM
Just dedicate a portion of your time in reading on current issues of cryptocurrencies and answer forum questions.  Never forget to read the bitcointalk rules.  From a newbie, you can increase your rank and you will have a lot of crypto doors open for you.  Join airdrops too.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: December 08, 2017, 02:39:35 AM
Yes. I needed ethereum for my etherwallet.  I needed Gwei when I made a transaction to send, sell or swap my tokens.  Without an ethereum, I cannot buy a gwei or gas.
