Recovering from a big hole/dip suffered by bitcoin due to a drastic drop of its price, it is very uncertain as to when bitcoin will climb back again. And with this month's upcoming Chinese New Year, i expect bitcoin's price to drop deeper and i think after that event, bitcoin will start to climb back again.

That's probably the best thing to do is to buy bitcoin while its price is has dropped drastically. When you are hodling some of your bitcoins, it is also good to add some more (in volume) because you can now buy them at a cheaper price.

etherdelta has been too slow after the hacking incident. This is especially true for loading the volume and the order book. The order book takes forever and at least a couple of tries to load. This has been happening ever since they were hacked. Ever since they have a new CEO, they introduced new fees (take out on our tokens) and the site is way slower, and they were hacked. Time to fire the new guy and rehire the old guy  Etherdelta is actually doomed since the infamous DNS hacking of their site. I feel unsafe since then and i don't know if etherdelta will be back and the trust of people who are using it will ever return. |

If you are just new to crypto, you can actually think of quitting. If you look at the past events of cryptoworld, these situation is just normal for it is evidently clear that a correction has to be done in order to make the cryptos even stronger tha before.
So why not hodly on your bitcoins and wait for the proper time for its market price to rise.

I would disagree of banning ICO being advertised on FB because i don't think that will ever stop ICO scams. Though facebook is the social media with the largest registered users, there are also other social media to choose from like twitter, instagram, reddit, pinterest, vine, tumblr and many more.

I think it's not a good idea of getting rid of bitcoin just for etherum. For me, bitcoin is diamond as ethereum is gold so both are precious. The drastic fall of bitcoin's market cap and price can cause panic to those who don't have the heart to hodl. I believe it will just pass away and will soon rises back.

The bleeding currencies and crypto markets doesn't mean it's the end of the cryptoworld already. Perhaps it's a normal thing and it's preparing for yet another burst. Just hodl for now and have your ticket ready for the train ride.

It's a way of raising funds to fund the development and design of a certain cryptocurrency. Investors can invest on the ICO which in return, gets cryptocurrency equivalent to the money invested by the investors + bonus if they invest on an early stage of token sale.

I have bought bitcoin at 16,000$ and it goes down half of its value now and all i am doing now is HODling it. I still believe in bitcoin that it will rise again very strong like what happened last year when it reaches for 20,000$.

That is the reason why i got here because i believe in cryptocurrencies and also, i found that the blockchain technology and some other cryptos are really very promising that it can give you profit or even double your capital.

I think you're not late on the party yet. It's just getting started anyway. If you really have money, they you can invest anytime you want regardless of the price of the digital currency you like to invest to. With it's price volatility on the line, you can have a better chance of getting gaining profit very soon.

If you plan to buy altcoins, that'll be a good decision because potential altcoins can really give you a serious profit that can change your life forever. Invest on different alt coins and not only in one because the more kind of altcoins you have invested, the better chance for you to earn big profit.

We know that there are ICOs that can be found here because this forum is one of the forum being used by ICO to promote their name and product but yes, there are also certain websites that monitor Active and Upcoming list of ICOs. |

That's a big amount of money to invest and it will be nice to divide it according to what altcoins you want to invest. If i am going to invest that 1m$, i will probably spend 75% of it to bticoin while the other 25% will be invested on altcoins with very great potential.
