Launch of test net - begin of July
Testing of Channels (beta) on test net - end of July
Launch of main net - end of August

but im understand thst after i reading your statement about the delay and i hope the testnet will open to the public that want to test it. the exscudo team is delaying everything! they should not tell people some dates that says it will launch by this date, bla bla bla! they are just making people to expect! especially those investors! If people buy Stratis, they should actually know and understand that they bought into a long-term project. Anyone complaining about the low price at a certain point in time should refrain from investing in this type of projects.
I know that Stratis is a long-term project but marketing is important i think... the best thing in the world is useless when no one knows about it That's of course true but there is still plenty of time to really increase the marketing efforts. Consider it a great buying opportunity. Just wait for the first ever side chain that Stratis will host , that itself is marketing. My tentative approximation would be it will still take around 4 to 7 months before we feel the real potentials of Stratis. But is it guaranteed that Stratis will be the first to host a side chain? Isn't that an open race? To be honest I really don't care if Lisk , NEO or any would be the first. Functionality and adaptation are the factors that matter most. The killer app that would be a necessity to use on daily lives. |

The rest of komodo pluses, which are huge, will be in the spotlight! interesting theory but is that realistic? in my opinion the price will go down once the ico site is updated because all the people swap from btcd to kmd and will sell their kmd. So where is my fallacy? Only 10% or less of the BTCD/Komodo swap remains. That is not enough to bring us down if all users happened to dump after they swapped. Also, it would make no sense for investors to swap, then dump. The whole point is to get your KMD so you can accrue 5% interest and your Jumblr snapshot. So only 10% left of those who still waiting. Why is it they are so noisy around the thread and keep on whining. The fact that KMD is an excellent crypto product . Like ptytrader mentioned, 5% annual interest and jumblr . Jumblr could be very valuable if you try to calculate derive it from the snapshot conversion and it may cost around $500 per Jumbr token. |

Needless to say, devs from stratis has yet to unleash its ace. Qtum and Neo (formerly antshares) are just another applications for P&D that people from China are using it as leverages to keep up with the next wave of crypto currencies IMO. They have previously done it with bitcoin that started the skyrocket price. With the recent emerging of BCH guess who are its adamant supporters? People in China. It want to make it look profitable in the eyes of a newbie. But in real sense both of it had no match for Stratis or Komodo or even IOTA.

All the idiots bitching about the ico site being down currently seem to forget they had months to make a claim previously like the other 90% of people that did and just didn't bother.
I think that's a lame argument. Look, I fully support kmd, I've held btcd for years, but the instructions for the swap were very confusing. I didn't feel comfortable swapping until I understood that I didn't even have to swap TO a wallet managed address. Considering the reliability issues with agama etc, I'm sure you can understand my hesitation. I eventually realized after asking many questions, that the swap could be done right on the website directly to a kmd address without the need to use agama. So look what happens, I finally swap (like I could have done 6 months prior) and this happens. In retrospect waiting to swap would have at least let me collect btcd interest. Supernet owns this problem, they admit it's a problem and they're working hard to fix it. I trust that, respect it and live with it. But to blame people for not swapping earlier is misdirected criticism. Well, I guess you are a late comer for KMD. From its ICO days, the BTCD swapped are being done on the ICO website, Agama doesn't existed yet . So in the first place the website was the primary swapping section for BTCD. I was just as surprised with what you have gone through that finally realized that it was not Agama wallet that do the swapping. |
