Hey guys the only computer I have access to now and likely in the foreseeable future will be a mac. Sorry to bring this up a couple diff times but I have my wallet.dat on a USB. Will there be a Mac wallet before the swap period is over so I am able to convert my silk to the new silk? If not are there any recommendations? Thought I'd have access to a PC but I will not. Thank you!
Best thing to do will be to install a virtual machine on the Mac to run Ubuntu 14.04 and then build and run a Silkcoin wallet on Linux within the virtual machine. The consolation however is that there will be Mac wallets for the new Silk. Nice. Would anyone mind writing a little how to on this? I know SlievensDRKSLK is super busy. Not the most tech savy out there. Thanks!

Solid support polo trex and craptsy @40 lets push this thing up! Could create a solid long term "W" bottom here on daily. Or let it fall and we all accumulate more, either way ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

OH Dear Jared is getting slated in the troll box on Poloinex...dont read it Jared ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Not good at all its being called a scam as well...maybe time to jump ship...dont want to be involved if the hate starts to set in yep, you're right. May be it's time for you to leave the boat... And dont worry, you wont be involved in anything. I've been on polo a lot today, I haven't seen any negative comments.. Most ppl just questioning where the dumps are coming from!?!?! Also, is there news tomorrow? or is it scheduled for next week? There isnt any news that was just bull crap to keep the dream alive...only news so far is the new fork messed up & all the suckers that bought DGB at 40-45 got done once again......If you were on polo most of the day then you would have seen username Victoria letting Rip, poor girl believed in DGB & lost 10BTC by selling lower than she paid for it......yet another DGB investor that lost confidence in this coin. You can call me a troll all you like all i am doing is pointing out the FACTS..NOT trolling at all, i am not telling anyone to dump or pump..is that not what troll are meant to do Sell me ALL your DGB at 42 sats right now?? No? Ok, have some patience or get away from crypto for a few weeks.

We aim to have the fully functioning reworked version of digistats.info with a fully working node map and some other new unannounced features within the next few days (hopefully by Sunday evening GMT). Expect to hear more soon ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) !

Just curious, why is the top left of the black box cut off with the phoenix but not the scorpion or camel?
|
|
|
Just looks like a mass exodus for DGB at this moment in time something has gone very wrong...sell orders are staking up on Poloniex & its only set to get worse...shorter block times & half rewards may not be the best way forward at this time well at least a lot of so called investors seem to think so...lets hope the NEW gift for DGB is going to be something worth singing about this Sunday
You still hold DGB? Thought you'd have sold by now. Have some faith in Jared or get out already.

The leaching continues. Good luck convincing anyone here...in the DGB community...to dump their DGB and buy Myriad. Comical but applaud your effort.

Can someone point me to where I can find the .dat file on my mac? sorry for the number of posts, thanks!
It's in the Digibyte folder in Application Support. Technically the path is something like this: Macintosh HD/Users/(whatever your user login is)/Library/Application Support/DigiByte/wallet.dat There's one trick here. The "Library" folder is hidden by default in the "User" directory. Therefore, in order to see it, you'll have to show hidden files. It's easy to show hidden files if you don't know how. Open the "terminal" application. (Go to "Applications" ... then scroll down to the "utilities" subfolder ... "Terminal" is in there). If you've never used Terminal before, basically it's a command line interface for mac. Once you have the terminal window open you'll see something that looks like this [computer:~] user% That'ts the standard interface prompt where you'll type the command. Type the following: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles Yes Hit return and it will take a second or 2 to make the change. Before you can see the hidden files in a typical finder window, you have to relaunch Finder. (just in case ... relaunch finder from the "force quit" menu available in the apple menu (top left) or by pressing "command-option-escape" Once you relaunch finder, you'll be able to open a normal finder window and see the hidden "Library" folder with the Application support files for DigiByte. By the way, to turn off the "Show All Files" and return everything to the way it was ... Use terminal with the following command: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles No And - again - relaunch finder. Hope this all helps. Got it THANK YOU!!

Perfect thanks, I have a Mac as well.

Ok so you don't have to manually place the .dat file back into the new wallet? Backing it up is just in case something goes wrong updating wallet? Will still send .dat to usb as you did but wasn't sure on the process regarding update.

Anyone wanna quick explain the process of updating to the new wallet? I will manually back up the .dat file to a USB. Just want to be 10000% sure so I don't screw myself and lose my coins. Thanks!

If you sell in the 40's you deserve to lose your DGB stash people. Look where support was before the big pump...40-50 was huge support I don't see it going low than this. Long term holder and am scooping more so I don't mind but try to have a long term view. Keep a clear head, don't PANIC.
Wait for the 30 sat prices again, it's going to happen. Really worth trying to sell in the 40's to get lucky and catch a spike in the 30's if on the off chance it happens? Just not smart imo when we've already seen how fast it can move. That type of greed will lose you coins.

They only way they are successful is if people sell into their (P&Ders) orders, period. Eventually the coins will end up in stronger hands and the market price will be reflective of DGB's actual value. Let them play their pump and dump games. Obviously it wasn't working so well for "MrPump" if he had to keep reminding people the pump was over so they could empty their bags. I see this as a good sign.

Heavy support / thinning asks with volume looking ready to start moving, hopefully this means we're ready to move up soon: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FGR1jvSL.png&t=663&c=iVXmlVjS0rAHdw)

Ok mods time to give this guy the boot IMO. Have reported him countless times as have many others to no avail. MrTroll needs to go. He's giving newcomers the wrong idea and is clearly promoting illegal activity by partaking in/promoting market manipulation. Some may actually be tempted to take up his offer and find themselves in a mess down the road. So I say it's best to ban anyone constantly promoting this type of illegal activity.
