Almost impossible without investing something. Either money, shitloads of time in faucets or skills.

what is this faucet you are talking about? Grin

I posted a website with a list on the previous page, http://free-btc.net.tf, there you can find many faucets and other sites for earning free BTC.

You won't get 1 BTC from it, but I've personally earned about 0.1 BTC with the following methods:

  • Faucets and PTC sites - Funded by ads, these sites will pay you a small amount of Bitcoins for either filling a captcha or visiting a website. There are many websites for this, you can find them by either checking out this website or by simply googling.
  • Casino giveaways - Many casinos give you about 1 mBTC (0.001 BTC) for registering at their website. Do not gamble these Bitcoins away, it's better to simply withdraw it directly. Sites providing giveaways can be found here.
  • Sell signature space - Once you have enough activity, you can sell your signature space and earn Bitcoins for every post made on this forum. Personally I'm using this service to do that (and it works good, I received 0.06 BTC for doing it last month), but there are many more if you search around a bit.
  • Earn Bitcoin from traffic - By using services like CoinURL or Coin-Ads you can earn Bitcoin when people click your links. There is also BitBin, which works like PasteBin but shares it's ad revenue with the users. There is also some ad providers in case you run a website, like A-Ads, BitAds, CoinURL and Operation Fabulous.
  • Earn Bitcoin by working - There are also people paying you to do different kinds of work. I haven't personally done this so I can't talk more about it.

What exactly do you want to bet on?
If a simple dice game is enough, there are many sites like PrimeDice, Just Dice etc. There are also many more types of betting sites out there, but since I don't gamble myself I don't know too much about them. I suggest you check out the gambling section, though: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

OK.  Fair enough.  So here's the big question.  I want to make sure that my wallets are working before I start going mining crazy and all my money goes into a blackhole.  What is the best way to test it out?

Try Bitvisitor. It goes pretty fast to get the 60 uBTC required to cashout.

Using dailbitcoins.org is not the same thing as sending bitcoins?

No, I think you have to use it around 100 times to get enough bitcoins to pay out.
315  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where Can I Buy Bitcoin Related Ad Space? on: January 13, 2014, 01:29:48 AM
Try CoinURL, BitAds or Operation Fabulous. You can also put your ad on Dailybitcoins.org. There are also Several PTC sites like Bitvisitor, CoinAd, BTCClicks, ClickBitco.in and VisitBit.

317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinBuilder - Make your own altcoin! on: January 13, 2014, 12:22:55 AM
We don't exactly need more mere copies. If people don't understand enough to change the source itself, then I'd say they don't shouldn't create an altcoin.

I deposited 3 mBTC there less than a week ago, went good. How many confirmations have your deposit gotten?
