Yes its true that bitcoin's name can use by other people to scam those ignorant in cryptoworld because of the boom of bitcoin last year 2017.

But its not Bitcoins fault, those victims put their money without knowledge how it works and it is their own fault. Their ignorance bring them to this worst situation.

If I am the one offered by these unknown people and if Im completely ignorant on bitcoin I will never put my money to them, I will do a deep research first if those people are legit and trustworthy.

That is why we keep on telling you that dont invest more than you can lose, dont put all your money on 1 investment. Let's say you invested 1 million and that is all of your money, you invested it in 1 coin which you think a high possibility to get a big bump rate and then suddenly the price go dip and you looses all your money it will surely break your life.

For me if you are going to invest big amount its better to trust bitcoin because its value can decrease but it will surely never die.

It still best to buy bitcoin rather than ETH, bitcoin has a Established name in the whole world while other coins are still not known by many people outside crypto world and thats what bitcoin's advantage among any other coin If you want a long-term investment, but Im not telling you that investing on ETH wont be pofitable in fact for me it is more profitable for me when it come's to a short-term investment.
