302  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: April 10, 2015, 07:12:10 AM
If you could get some active refferals it would have a sense.
303  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: April 10, 2015, 07:00:10 AM
I'm just going to negate this without calculating anything. You can earn a lot (more) cash if you spend the same time doing an actual job!
You don't need to have some special skills. Jobs that include something simple as a shovel or lawn mower will earn you more than faucets (as a free bonus they burn calories too!).

Yes. Something about free money makes us lose focus on what's actually going on. We all want a get rich quick scheme but they are usually too good to be true. When you do the calculations and convert to USD you will see how little you are actually making with faucets. But still we do it - probably has something to do with human psychology and maybe related to gambling.

Some people hope, that one day satoshi would be worth a buck - so if it's that easy to get some now, why not?  Wink
Holding and investing (or gambling  Grin) your satoshis are the only reasonable way to use faucets - trying to cash out that pennies is definitely not worth effort.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Cryptocurrency? on: April 10, 2015, 06:54:57 AM
There are more than 740 crypto currencies in total but only 10 of them have market capitalizations over $10 million. That must say something about their appeal to the general public.

1. DarkCoin has a built in mixing system, which is fun.  Grin

AFAIK it's not exactly built-in (like in XMR), but yes - there is mixing service involved in sending coins.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: April 10, 2015, 06:47:45 AM
Bitcoin is in specific (still early) stage of its development - all bitcoins are now in hands of few people compared to the world's population and it has some value already. This two factors combined IMO can lead to high volatility and temporary devaluations.

BTC is not much more complicated to use than for example fiat online wire transfers. You don't have to understand how exactly blockchain works to send or receive some coins. But any cryptocurrency needs some kind of cheap and secure hardware wallet access,  something like credit card - just to take out of your pocket, make an tx and forget. Then, people would more likely use this kind of tender if they don't have to involve their smartphone all the time.
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 million Bitcoin on: April 07, 2015, 06:24:10 PM
already is 14 million bitcoin and coming soon will become 21 million .

Consider block reward halvings, that would make last bitcoin to be mined in about 2140.

I wonder if anybody would more likely flight pilotless plane after the Lufthansa Airbus story.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin shut down for 8 hours? on: April 04, 2015, 11:06:39 AM
Is this even possible to shut down whole system by anybody?
309  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Count down to Iran invasion on: March 31, 2015, 01:48:36 PM
Don't forget about ISIS, as they surely would engage in establishing new order in such important region.
310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hitler vs. Stalin on: March 31, 2015, 01:02:31 PM
Hitler triggered the WW2, which caused some 80 million deaths in total.

Stalin participated in WW2 start also, he just had been standing behind the scene. If you agree, that WW2 started when 3rd Reich invaded Poland, what about this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov%E2%80%93Ribbentrop_Pact#The_secret_protocol

He was a silent beneficient of all that mess.

Soviet's main goal was to create classless world, so they have to conquer all countries first. For the first time they tried in 1920, but had to make a retreat on the foregrounds of Warsaw.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The story of a law enforcement agent who became a true bitcoiner! on: March 31, 2015, 12:33:34 PM
It seems that he have always been a retard, just now became a BTC-one  Cheesy
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with my BTC? on: March 31, 2015, 12:26:47 PM
I would invest in some PoS coins. No mining diff there.

Instead of classical PoW difficulty, you have prices that are even stronger related with coins supply.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you prefer bitcoin, FIAT money or other? on: March 31, 2015, 12:24:06 PM
For general purposes I prefer fiat money at the moment, because of high bitcoin volatility. I can't be sure if I should spend BTC now or in 1, 2, 7 days...
Also, there are not so many goods available online that I can buy with BTC, that would be shipped at reasonable cost.

314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I mine with my y510p Lenovo Laptop? Specs given in post on: March 29, 2015, 10:58:06 PM
Nice machine, don't let it fry up for some nano-scale profits.
315  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it worth me buying mining hardware right now? on: March 29, 2015, 10:53:49 PM
Even if mining could be a bit profitable in some circumstances now (e.g. cheap energy, miners bought at low prices), there are some factors that can suddenly turn that business unprofitable - BTC price, difficulty, mining gear failure and so on. You have to be prepared for possible mining on loss for some time (not specified of course) - ask yourself if you are able to manage that.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easy, Plug & Play Bitcoin Nodes (Bitcoin Core 0.10) on: March 29, 2015, 10:51:26 AM
Is running bitcoin node a voluntary contributing to the network, or there are some profits (of any kind) from this?
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: storing wallet backup in the cloud? on: March 29, 2015, 09:12:06 AM
Nice idea if diversifying storage places.
318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 70 years after the Victory: Lest We Forget (despite every effort to do so) on: March 28, 2015, 02:11:02 PM

Here are your Soviet  liberators giving nazis high fives in 1939 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German%E2%80%93Soviet_military_parade_in_Brest-Litovsk)  after they together tore Poland apart.

There are many interesting (and inconvinient for USSR fanboys) facts about Hitler's and Stalin's cooperation before 1941.
