I can give a better estimate as it gets closer, but I'm currently working on:

Build the primary Seed Node
Create a fresh genesis block
Make sure it mines and builds on the seed node
Nurse the chain with a few blocks to keep it alive, and give a decent heads up to miners.
Upload the code to pool ops / wallets
Prep for swap requests
Open up swap form

So tldr; We have to wait for a bunch of stuff to compile and it can take a little while.

If any pool ops want a chance at getting linked as the primary pool in the ANN, let me know that you are planning to host Swing so I can get you the code asap. I'll link whichever pool gets the most consistant miners as the primary, and the rest below.

It's not very well documented, but from what I've gathered the only difference between HiPos and POS is that in HiPos your weight does not stop building after it hits your coin count. So if you have 10 coins and keep them offline for months, when you come back you will have 10 weight in POS coins, and more weight in HiPos that allows you to help get your fair share that you missed. HiPos also allows for some strategic locking and unlocking that was more relevant in Greed and GE than Swing.

I've been trying to reach out to supernova as they insta added both Greed and GE but have not heard back yet. I get the feeling he will show up on launch and plan to pre-add him as a DNS seed, but if not there is a tendency for a half dozen pools or so to add new coins so we should get a few at least.

Q: How can I figure out what reward to expect?
So basically, POS rewards = 1% of the last 3 digits of the block count.
POW is the same, only there is a multiplier. It's factored by taking the number in the thousandth place and multiplying it by 10, and the result is the percentage of POS miners get.
I need to come up with a way to explain it better but the chart should help.
So for example, on block 8532:
POS reward = 5.32
POW reward = 80% of 5.32 = 4.256
The only deviation is when the thousandth place is 0. Rather than have miners earn nothing they earn 100%.

You need to learn how to solo mine as a dev man. You can't test otherwise.. And if you ever add a premine in your coins it will get stolen unless you know how to move the chain along and checkpoint it.

Oh I'm only interested in bringing attention to that twitter scammer. Not the coin / his other projects. I was in this thread by happenstance (someone in crypto community spoke of it) and that grabbed my attention.

If he didn't give BTC to the exchange spoofer I'm happy about that. Fuck that guy.

I've seen this guy before. He spoofs major exchanges and scams devs.

EDIT* reading though your posts looks like you didn't pay him? That's good. Still not sure why you have Bittrex and others listed in the ANN already though.

Because if you look in their feeds they all talk about the same cryptos when they do post. They RT tweets for the coins they mentioned in their own tweets. And they RT giveaway tweets all replying with different addresses for claim. Usually 100 - 200 RT's per giveaway post.

It's just one guy shilling for hundreds of claims on giveaway posts and bombing inboxes with "buy my followers!".

It's not that huge of a deal. It's just annoying when he blows up your phone with the same DM over and over, and can be good to have a list of shills to check from when running twitter giveaways.

Yeah.. he likes to pretend to be exchange owners on IRC too. Pretty messed up. Remember to check for the moderator flags in IRC.

Something to note, Bittrex only does business over their email listed on their site. They do it that way so there are records.

So I'm consistently getting spam messages from a network of crypto shills trying to get me to buy followers. They appear to be shilling coins and spamming giveaways so I thought I'd post them here so people can block / mute / report as they feel necessary.

All of these are shills from http://followback.info/. I would STRONGLY suggest avoiding even visiting the site as google shows warnings. They basically trick people into giving them full permission then use it to spam and shill. I know he has control over a ton more, but these are just the ones that have DM'd me. I'm pretty sure this one guy has 200+ accounts to work with.
