From my experience of this launch:

Initial launch was a bit problematic for people, as solo mining was an orphanfest, and the pools were not given the right code to be able to launch at the start

After close to an hour, the pools started to come online, and because of the sheer volume of blocks being found, stat's were crazy (still not the best!) but they were paying out - it just showed up delayed

So, whilst the difficulty is still low, I'm continuing to mine on the pools - yes the figures are still a little screwed up, but they're 100% paying out and finding blocks

www.cryptopoolmining.com is flying along - getting very little rejects now.....

I've got 15.6k though sat in my account there, so would really like to get this sorted. I appreciate people aren't on their computers 24/7 though - will keep you posted

Anyone here mining in Pooled.cc had problems withdrawing their PIG's?

When I go to Edit Account, I have options to input my Flap, GMC, PCC, TRL and VGC accounts - but no piggy!!!

I messaged randomm (pool owner) earlier today, but never received a reply.

Anyone come up with this issue themselves? Help out a fellow miner

Just a thought, as I'm no programmer.....

This coin was meant to be designed for kids / newcomers - and everyone with a bit of power has punished this - there's no way to stop them.

So, my question is, is it possible to:

A) set up a wallet (if solo mining) that has a MAXIMUM hash rate that will be accepted (lets say 150kh/s) - the rest is essentially useless
B) any pool participating, has a similar setup, where any overflow of hash over 150kh/s, is directed to a 2nd backup coin

I know that option B could be circumvented by multi-signups, but lets face it, most people won't be bothered to set up multi-accounts, and the fact that anyone with a decent rig won't even mine this because of the restriction, give's it the credibility that the OP was looking for.

Maybe something like this already exists (although I've not seen it out there) - maybe it's not easy to co-ordinate, but I'd be interested in anyone's views on this.

Any update on the release time for this?

Also, in the ANN, you write

I take it you mean of the 1.5% of fees the pool collects, 1/3rd of this money is paid in referrals (ie the pool has 1%, the referrer has 0.5%).
What you've written reads that a referral will only earn someone next to nothing! (ie if someone mines 100 coins, the pool gets 1.4925 coins, the referrer gets 0.0075 coins)

It's just a minor point, it would be good to clear this up.

It's a shame that it was wrong to start with though - I just spent the last 20 minutes switching my rigs over to a different pool as you were showing the wrong rewards..... Sorry man.
