301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Influence of Bounty Participants on: December 27, 2018, 10:32:09 AM
Lately there have been many who argue about bounty participants, some argue that the more bounty participants the better the new project will be. and there are also those who argue that bounty participants must be limited so they can avoid the number of dumper when a project is completed.

I have questions
1. How influential is this bounty participant for a new project?
2. If the bounty participant is restricted what will affect the success of a new project?

There are a few things that have been misunderstood about dumping of coins by the bounty hunters. Not all bounty hunters dump coins. And the coins that have been given to the bounty hunter is very small compared to the coins that are really available for the users. So I think it should be understood that no matter how many bounty hunters are present, they are still limited by the amount to be given and thus dumping should not be blamed more on the hunters themselves because they can never dump what they don't have except when they are investors as well but this is another side of the story.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Money vs Barter on: December 27, 2018, 09:15:30 AM
This is for the same reason why we do have money as a standard to use. Without money how can a person use barter sysyem effectively. The concept of money is still the same concept of the barter system. You give the persin money and in exchange the person gives you what your money is worth. The only difference with the real barter system is that anything can be priceless or low valued depending on how one might feel about the exchange of things.

mass adoptions in crypto is on its way  Wink

This could potentially create a new era of using digital coins for online transactions. The first question that comes to my mind is what could possibly happen to other coins if this will create another competition among digital coins. Specifically we know how popular bitcoin is, but facebook is a place where almost all people from all walks of life stays more often, could it potentially be a threat to bitcoin? Certainly this question are hard to answer not unless if we will know more about this facebook coin in the future.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 is it the new beginning will come to crypto currencies? on: December 21, 2018, 08:07:38 AM
Maybe or maybe not for now. We don't know yet what could happen. Predictions cannot be trusted and many failed to predict outcomes which drives people to believe what was more like a false hope. We can only aim at something that is planned and not on what others believed. So for this 2019 we should plan on investments to avoid loses.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing value is nothing surprising, will continue on: December 21, 2018, 07:29:57 AM
Bitcoins losing meaning and value is natural, its not capable to manage the worlds economy, you freaks dont understand that because you dont want to face and consider the complexity of the worlds socioeconomic structure, thinking you could replace all currencies with a currency that is based on a race about installed computation power without imense social, cultural, and economic consequences was a ridiculous idea in the first place, that drove the ponzi scheme hype and was nothing but a naive illusion, wich you used to collect followers.

nevertheless some good thing remain, of bitcoins shortlived existance

an online kapital market, and a more decentral kapital market where the influence of the national banking cartel is reduced,

exactly what satoshi wanted.

i doubt satoshi was so stupid to actually think that he would replace all currencies with bitcoin like all his followers did.

satoshi was seeking to reduce the influence of the banking cartels, and i think he achieved what he wanted.

I think bitcoin will survived and to say short lived might not be really true. The system used by bitcoin was really good except for people who have turned everything upside down. I think satoshi had forseen this and the possible hype that people had about earning money the easy way which was the case when people are not mindful about the real scenario of prices moving up or down. I believe Bitcoin will continue to exist and will be used not for anybody to just hold but for somebody to use on a good purpose.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: December 20, 2018, 05:16:05 PM
What are your opinions?

For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!

I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.

It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!)  It can be scary.

It was a sudden change not everyone expected. The bottom we thought wasn't the actual bottom at all. As the market was not really favorable at the moment. The only way perhaps is to create more usage for bitcoin to stabilize or push it back above. The only question that remains is how or what type of usage can be more effecient to do this? An online shop? A money transfer service for bitcoin or establishing more stores using bitcoin as payment? It is a lot to discuss..
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next month early January 2019. on: December 20, 2018, 03:08:41 PM
I think one good basis for investing on coins would be the global economy. While many are still suffering from economic crisis, I do believe this time may not be the best time yet to invest on any coin. I did not say though that we should not do so, but should you be not so afraid to risk then just choose the known coins this time. I am as well holding coins but I cannot guarantee that I might gain by early january 2019.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: current situation of cryptocurrency for 2018 on: December 20, 2018, 01:51:52 PM
Too many projects have really gone out as if bubbles that pops. We cannot blame them for such events. The global economy is not really well and because cryptocurrency is not an exemption things like these are expected. The thing we might do next is to look ahead in advance and plan possible actions do, so that loses will be minimized should it happen to us. Things are really unexpectable so we must be one step ahead.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best investment strategies on: December 19, 2018, 02:05:05 PM
I think the best investment method would be to choose the best coin that shows progress even during this bad market condition and probably hold different coins to avoid loses or atleast get a advantage over sudden changes in value. Diversifying coins may atleast help a bit though this might not be a guaranteed solution.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you promote Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2018, 08:13:15 AM
There is no better way in promoting bitcoin other than using it in a store or shop as a payment system. I think if people would start using it daily as if a real currency to pay for something then there is no need for too much advertisement and it will naturally become a need to have.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best investment strategies ? on: December 18, 2018, 02:47:43 PM
Invest in a crypto market situation accordingly. There should be a framework for him to invest in which time to invest. And at what time to sell.

Since we are talking about money here in digital form, why not make or create an online shop where you would sell products and get paid in cryptocurrency. I think this is way better than just playing with cryptocurrency's volatile nature to gain profit. In this manner maybe you can help create a favorable market for cryptocurrency and stabilize the current condition especially if many will be participating like you might do.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: December 18, 2018, 09:00:03 AM
Loses are part of being in a business. You wouldn't be considered the best or lucky if you haven't been into a great challenge or test or sacrifices. Cryptocurrency was just another same thing. I too have suffered loses and it hurts to have entered with enough money as capital but ends with about one fourth before leaving cryptocurrency for the mean time. Yet I am still hopeful that cryptocurrency will eventually go up again. Just learn from mistakes and do a lot of research. This is the only way I think that could help us for now. So instead of saying negative things about digital coins, why not understand it better before leaving bad comments.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Stop worrying about how much energy bitcoin uses on: December 18, 2018, 03:31:24 AM
I think we should worry more about what happens to the environment in general. Bitcoin may have been using a lot of power and may created a sort of an impact on energy usage but it is not the only thing that makes our environment a bit unfavorable. We all know how good bitcoin technology is and for me there is always a solution to problems. Perhaps we only have to work more on it so that both technologies and humans could evolve without problems. There are pros and cons but always remember that this things were made to make us efficient and therefore should continue be so not unless until there is no other solutions possible to this problem concerning our environment.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open your eyes! on: December 18, 2018, 02:42:47 AM
It is possible but I don't think banks will really move to bitcoin as of now due to problems with the market. But should they use bitcoin it is more likely to happen. It only needs a little fix and some minor adjustments to make bitcoin usable to banks. Banks can have their own settings for usage of bitcoin and and maybe they might just use it for transaction purposes without much consideration for value. So it is really possible.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the time to buy ALTs? on: December 15, 2018, 09:29:18 AM
Anytime could be the right time to buy altcoins given you have the plan on what to do to avoid loses. While the market is unpredictable, nobody would know the most appropriate time for you to buy the coins but a good research may lead you to success and avoid loses. So I would suggest that you should make an indepth research of the cryptocurrency market.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: A Public Market is Turning 'Cashless' in the Philippines on: December 15, 2018, 07:00:33 AM
I have never heard about such but should this be true I think this is one of a kind and a starter to those who would like to make their first steps towards cryptocurrency development in general. This could help as a pivotal lead towards the use of digital technologies in the Philippines. I just hope that even with the unfavorable market experienced as of now they will really be still in the line to promote cryptocurrency.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: December 15, 2018, 02:31:29 AM
Well games could be a stress reliever. I haven't heard about block chain games yet but I think given that you have told that it could be addicting maybe it is worth a try. Just don't get too addicted because it will certainly create a problem. On the part of trading I would agree on you. It could cost you your physical health due to stress. I think emotionally people are also affected during times especially when you would see your self losing more than half. Just like what happened to me. But everything is like a gamble and everything like this happens.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 14, 2018, 02:01:22 PM
Miracle are not true in business. Apologies but I would disagree in such a statement. You don't rely luck on business, you need a plan. And for bitcoin to surpass all these trials it needs the actual and realistic usage that people should do more often to make everything stable. It dumps for a long time because people are just holding it. It should be used in businesses. If it does then it would be no miracle to see it go back up again.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think the market needs to get back on track?! on: December 14, 2018, 08:09:44 AM
It is true. Some project do not help that much to the current situation due to the unfavorable market that had gone a bit below what everybody was expecting to be the bottom. There was not much of a real utility for the coins which gives the reason why people aren't investing so much on the fear the they might just lose their investments. But should the project be useful and as indispensable as the basic need, certainly I would say it would create a change. So I think what ICOs need is a focus on these immediate things, like foods and clothing as an example.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crash in 2019! on: December 14, 2018, 06:53:01 AM
It would be good to hear from predictions but honestly there is no better than really trying to look at how the market is really been doing to this present. The predictions that bitcoin will hit  30K$ was very good. It was really something and everybody was very happy to hear but as time goes by the predictions came to be the opposite. It was worst and not expected. So I think who ever it is trying to make predictions and whoever it is that is considered a successful investor, I would say I'm sorry but I don't buy predictions. I'd rather see everything in its progress than dream about nothing.
