302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Back To Promoting Doge as a Payment Method for New Cologne on: October 14, 2022, 08:53:59 PM
Looks like Elon Musk is really back in the cryptocurrency market, because starting today he has been tweeting about Bitcoin and Doge,
this reminds me of when Elon Musk tweeted in 2021 and made the market bull,
if indeed the bull market started then of course this is a great opportunity to buy Shiba, Bitcoin and also Doge because Elon Musk supports these three coins.
Elon musk has been a strong influence in the dogecoin market journey and as a whale, his tweet has caused a lot of market changes in the dogecoin market but lately, a lot of things have changed and his tweet is no longer as influential to the market as it uses to be.

But if all things are equal, and there is an update in the dogecoin software even though that does not equal success in the dogecoin market but some good traction can be picked from that place.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 14, 2022, 08:33:33 PM
This weekend match between Tottenham Vs Everton will be very interesting to see how things turn out, because I don't see it as an easy match for Tottenham Hotspur to win because Everton has improved massively from where they were when the season starts, they have conceded the less goals so for this season and their defence have improved greatly, when you consider that Tottenham don't score lot goals, you will know how difficult it will be for them against the Toffees but I still see Tottenham winning this one with an odd goal difference because they are playing at home.
I even laugh a little to myself when you say about "Everton has improved massively from where they were when the season started". If indeed Everton has improved massively this season, Everton should not only be able to win two of the nine games they have played this season. Now look at Tottenham Hotspur who have won six of the nine matches they have played this season, so it is very clear that Tottenham Hotspur still has a greater potential to win the game that will take place at their own home against Everton.
I think the discussion has gone beyond how many matches both Everton and Tottenham hotspur discussion have now shifted to the possibility of any of the two clubs walking away as the winner of the weekend game, even though Everton has managed to win just two out of the nine games this season, there is still the possibility of Everton winning Tottenham who has performed better this season than Everton.

Football is a game of luck, so we can expect whatever outcome without much reality to our speculation.

Just saw this on Chat.

Advisory

ETH transactions cannot be processed for the time being.(Zodiac is on it, according to Promo)

delays can take up to 20hrs**
A lot of things are wrong with this site at the moment and the operators have not been active on this thread lately, so since you are given a cool-off period of 20 hours than you have no choice than to wait for the ethereum withdrawal to be reactivated within the next 20 hours as stated by the support.

305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: October 14, 2022, 07:44:14 PM
I don't see how and why a government would allow cryptocurrencies to overtake its own currency as the medium for exchange for goods and services within the global economy.  There are many reasons for this. However the idea of allowing the Government Currency to hedge against BTC is an interesting idea.  We would be going back to the days before the FED was created.
The fact is the topic title is misleading and the information in the post has a different view and statements that do not collide with the topic title.

The thread is about United regulation on the energy consumption of Bitcoin proof of work algorithm while the topic title point to a direction of the digital dollar being a threat to bitcoin and other decentralized currencies.

But then we are talking of regulations again where we seek to demystify what will become of proof of work algorithm if it is regulated, but we should also know that there is already an alternative source of energy which is the less expensive and self-generated source as solar power and other clean energy.
306  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: October 14, 2022, 04:42:27 PM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑
The reason is that most people see cryptocurrency as a get-rich-quick scheme just like they are another Ponzi scheme that promises a 100× return in 24 hours.

Cryptocurrency needs a lot of knowledge and skills to benefit from it, and if that is not in place, one can easily lose money to many of those scam projects that come as cryptocurrency investment most especially since the altcoin market is full of this shit situation.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good that the Bitcoin community acts like a cult? (Podcast) on: October 14, 2022, 04:37:52 PM
Nobody should be engaging in media without proof that the media in question is honest.  =>

Talking points such as these are why smart people don't engage you.
The media have become a channel point for much misinformation lately, and I don't listen to them anymore nor do I engage anyone with the argument of Bitcoin members being cult-like. And I don't want to also believe without any fact that points to the activities of members of the bitcoin communities engaging in any cult activities and even the original Bitcoin idea is privacy and decentralization this is something that can not be an attribute of a cult group, cult don't operate privately.
308  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the Bitcoin casinos with first deposit bonuses? on: October 13, 2022, 09:24:28 PM
Ops how do you intend to be comfortable with this move, since you will not be able to meet up with some casino's requirements while others will make you go through some tough process before meeting up with their requirements and that will get you born out of motivation to continue.

But if I should advise you, it is better to look for a single casino that offers you good bonuses over time and as you play along on the casino. I think that will be better than jumping from one casino to the other all in search of bonuses.
309  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: October 13, 2022, 02:13:04 PM
I'm still watching their country and what Nayib Bukele is doing with his plan, really we shouldn't be too hasty in declaring them failed. They like us are in bear season, so the price drop is inevitable. As long as we don't sell bitcoin that means we have nothing to lose and neither does El Salvador. They have never sold any of their bitcoins so there is no way they fail or lose their bitcoin investment.
One of his latest statements about his country's bitcoin situation, everything is still under his control.
Quote
We haven’t lost $50 million worth of #Bitcoin because we haven’t sold any.
"Stop drinking the elites' Kool-Aid and look at the facts"

I don't know why there have being so much speculation on the outcome of El Salvador's Bitcoin adoption when the country just adopted bitcoin there is no way we can say El Salvador's Bitcoin adoption is a failed experiment when El Salvador has a long-term goal for Bitcoin.

If we must know something which is, El Salvador does not have a currency and this is not the first time El Salvador is adopting a currency it has to happen before, and seeing that Bitcoin is adopted as an alternative currency makes it more suitable for El Salvador for long-term developmental goals.
310  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoincleanup.com is a recommended site to gain Bitcoin knowledge on: October 13, 2022, 02:00:50 PM
I don't want to believe that this topic is not fit for this board but since the moderators have moved it here, it becomes appropriate to go along with the moderator's decision and continue the discussion here, but the advantage of this is that.

This thread may not receive the right audience and at that become dormant, but this discussion is so important and we can't let it discussion to just died down, this topic also requires an up-to-date on the development of bitcoin clean energy and the improvement in the development of alternative energy for Bitcoin proof of work network.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take bitcoin as the virtual currency, that perform better than physical currency on: October 11, 2022, 09:44:23 AM
Bitcoin to fait transaction and holding comes with it diverse ups and downs that may hamper the total process as whatever time even 9both Bitcoin network and bank network rely on the internet to make transaction possible one still need to understand the peculiarity of both currencies.

While one serves as a primary currency that is accepted by all within a system,  the other which is Bitcoin serves as a better alternative to banks and without regional restrictions.

So both serve a very important purpose in the economy and for personal use.
312  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE.WIN: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] on: October 11, 2022, 08:03:59 AM
We do encourage you to read the bonuses before trying any of them. The bonuses intend to benefit the players more than the casinos but there are measures put in place like wagering requirements and min deposit amounts to prevent any abuse. TrustDice also tries its best to highlight any NEED TO KNOW INFO before activation of bonuses so be sure to check it out.

The bonuses are beneficial for the players as long as the don't have tough wagering requirements to withdraw. Once gambling houses add restrictions the beneficiary changes to the gambling sites as gamblers are unable to meet the requirements while gambling sites are able to attract more people through these bonuses.  Smiley

I am not complaining here but this is the fact and gamblers are used to it. Anyways i always encourage and like bones even with requirements, as they give us at least to try our luck.

Good to now that trust dice offer a lot of bonuses and free money to play with. Of course once people play freely and like the site, they will deposit too.
I have not try playing or creating an account on trutdice before and with what is happening right now and seeing that there is a lot of good feedbacks and review about this casino I will be making my account on trust dice so that I can also benefit from.the hige bonuses.

I will be dropping my personal review on this casino in a week time when I have finished playing and testing this site.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 11, 2022, 07:33:00 AM
Gambling is fun as long as you don't ruin your life with debt and damage to your family
And as well as ruining the others life, you shouldn't do that as you gamble because that makes gambling have a bad reputation because of things like that.

Be responsible enough and bring your own like how you're doing it with other things aside from gambling.

Days could be better sometimes and worse but make sure that you're not harming yours and any others.
This is what really harms gambling reputation, gambling is for the most part harmless and most people can gamble responsibly without any kind of negative long term effect on their lives.

But there is a very small minority of people which cannot gamble responsibly and lose a great deal of money, and this affects the reputation of casinos but also of gamblers around the world, as there is still many people that think that if you like to gamble then you are irresponsible with your money or that you have some sort of gambling addiction problem when that is not the case.
Alot of things contributes to how a person view things in life most especially at the early age if one does not build good financial discipline and also being able to have self-control it will effect the way one act a see risk, in ops explanation he mentioned how he use his school fees to gamble and lost everything.

To some this is a bad move, but what if he won the bets and made good profits from risking his school fees, but it is advisable to risk what you can afford to lose.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why speculate when you can be at peace with Bitcoin on: October 11, 2022, 04:33:55 AM
Having your own analysis can be considered as speculation so I think it’s very normal for a trader and investor to speculate on the price no matter how good the coin is.
You are right, there is no way we can do away with speculation no matter the terms we choose to use for it because making a decision on what coin to hold and the ones to leave out of the bag is a speculating process, so it doesn't mean speculation is only limited to the market analysis from other players or experts in the market.

So speculation is a part of our crypto currency life we must speculate at whatever point to come up with a better decision,  but for long-term holders that can look away from the day-to-day Bitcoin market discussion, they may have some peace of mind that doesn't mean they don't speculate, they do.
315  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 11, 2022, 04:15:16 AM
I'm just answering this because of the way is being discussed and titled because i believe in the gamblling projects can be regulated to people who is directly into gambling because i believe that gambling platforms, the people who knows better of gambling are the people can equally regulates gambling from what I understand
You may need to share more details of what you mean by, (the people who know gambling that will regulate gambling).
U don't want to assume that I understand the point you are trying to make, but I can build an understanding around your statement, what you mean is government regulators and policymakers that are involved in gambling will be the ones to regulate gambling.

I don't think that is the truth, because I.one will want to regulate what he/she is heavily involved in and no gamblers can make struck laws on gambling than those who truly use the casinos.

But even at that, gambling generates a lot of revenues for the government even though it seems to be that gambling terms illegal in some places the government still benefits from it massive
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: October 11, 2022, 03:58:53 AM
The question should be, how many early Bitcoin adopters are still holding their Bitcoin, and how many are still stuck in Bitcoin when the price is reduced?
The answer is not all Bitcoin adopters have faith in the Bitcoin network and are ready to hold for a long time till this day, some have sold their Bitcoin when the price reached $10 thinking Bitcoin will not go beyond that price.

But for those who are still holding a good percentage of their early Bitcoin holdings, by now they run and can retire comfortably with Bitcoin.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 10, 2022, 09:36:27 PM

Posting this screenshot to make us know the game lineup for tomorrow, and PSG has nothing to worry about even if truly messy did not make it in the next game due to injury, but we should also know that means the wing already has a replacement so the club has what it takes to perform. Excellently without any player no matter how skillfully the player may have become over time.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Namibia Now Accepts Bitcoin As Payment on: October 10, 2022, 09:23:14 PM
I think this is part of an accomplishment of a great milestone but let's anticipate further for the big catch ahead in seeing the next country to third the adoption of bitcoin as a legal tender, i believe since it's a thing of long term decision by many countries to consider a number if factors to back it up, i also believe taking a decision like this may not be as quick as expected since it's something that goes with protocols but despite all, i still got encouraged by El-Savador and the Central African Republic for their decision and prompt response in acting toward the adoption.
yeah, It will take some more time but as they say, "better late than never". We slowly move towards the adoption thought the whole world. As this is gaining more popularity, I think another country can't help but also acknowledge this, and they also move towards the adoption to Accept BTC as a legal tender. No one, if they are smart enough, can't accept staying behind as others move forward.  So this will be interesting to see what happens next.
The impact of Bitcoin adoption is lasting, and in some cases, it takes up to 4 to 5 years before thos impact can be felt, but the good thing is that Namibia Central bank may have taken the right step by adopting virtual assets but if you look at the article closely you will discover that the statement doesn't cover bitcoin and other decentralized currencies.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: October 10, 2022, 09:01:57 PM
You can as well tell your bro to. save the date and make a bet with him about what will cost a fortune in the future, many have said such disgusting and derogatory statements about Bitcoin severally, but many of them always fall back to take back their negative perception of Bitcoin.

So I will say Bitcoin will be just fine in the future no matter what happens and the truth is, bitcoin will survive many decades too. come and end up becoming a widely used alternative currency.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take bitcoin as the virtual currency, that perform better than physical currency on: October 10, 2022, 07:59:11 PM
What I love most about Bitcoin is that Bitcoin is the best alternative to centralized currency and the government financial system, and also Bitcoin can be held as an asset. So even though Bitcoin does not have a physical value its digital value is still a.high against other assets in the exchange market.

That is why, Bitcoin is referred to as digital gold since Bitcoin have increased in market capitalization in recent time, and also the rate of Bitcoin adoption is also on the increase, bitcoin serves as the best alternative in both currency and assets.
