My two cents: 1. JCE coin - a CPU only, web minable coin, replacing web ads 2. uPlexa - a CPU / (recently also a GPU) IoT minable coin with a very strong team

Online is 0.33j CPU Windows
* Increase/restore v8 speed * uPlexa fork, as --variation 19 * Updated shitcoins: Saronite forked to Haven, XFH to Swap
About the speed, i tested it good on CPU I have, but did theorical fixes on CPU i don't have. On Zen i got still +0.2% extra perf.
Fast as lightning! Thanks JCE!

It's always good to hear the coin is getting more famous ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'll ask again JCE miner if he would add it now. (He refused a month ago, because it was new born). I'm glad SRB added it.

Hello uPlexors ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Fruity Pool released a GPU miner for uPlexa. You can download it from here: https://github.com/FruityPool/FruityMiner/releasesIt works with both Nvidia and AMD GPUs. AMDs sometimes show minor errors, but mining continues. Good luck and happy hashing!

So, mining speed depends on processor speed?
Generally speaking - yes, as in most coins. Ideally you must have as much CPU threads as possible on your CPU, and each thread needs 1MB of L3 cache. Atleast that works best for AMD CPUs. I've heard for Intel it is better to use 2MB L3 per thread and use lower number of threads. Here is a link with all the hardware that was benchmarked on this coin's algo: https://www.uplexamining.com/hw-benchmarks/

There is one, but it is closed source, 5% fee and not very efficient. Link? It was posted about two weeks ago. You'll have to dig it out yourself out of the Discord server hereThat way you can also monitor the progress and participate in the bounties or even development.

GT210 is completely unusable. Save time and don't even try. The main drawback is that it does not supported by the new drivers, so it runs CUDA 5 or 6. Current CUDA used by the miner software is 10. But even if it worked, it is insanely slow. So skip.

I cannot believe how the holders of this coin (who also have the motivation to make it grow) are making fun of the team's decisions. And for some ridiculous reason Byteball still exists. How many more people have to tell you that decisions you come up with are bad? One can clearly tell It is not just hate, because they do love Byteball, but not the devs's decisions.

Exactly, things are changing with V3 to improve reliability. However even with V2 various factors were influencing payouts including bandwidth and uptime so it is not something new. To be able to compete with mainstream storage providers storage node operators need to also be reliable and in my opinion that is for the best. You shouldn't think that just because someone has a spare HD they can put it towards Storj and be able to make a profit. But don't let that discourage you, fill in the form as best as you can and see if you get an invite when the time comes.
It was advertised and promoted literary as "you have free space on your laptop's harddrive, why don't you sell it and make profit!" You can watch some of the videos of Shawn Wilkinson. This is exactly what he promotes. Now it turns out, that to compete with the storage providers, you have to either come up with a miraculous algorithm which negates all latencies combined: from network lag, time difference, dropped packets, disk performance. Or hire some retired admin with old storage servers in his basement (from the above mentioned storage providers) fill them up with drives and waste a few kW of electricity for pennies. At the same time these enterprise storage providers have gone all NVME Flash. Storj team have to very carefully reconsider their path, becase there is zero chance to compete with enterprise storage, using someone's kitchen laptop. I think that the only chance they have is to be a cheap alternative to Tape backup storage. Where you hold the data for a long time, but rarely upload-download it. That might work. Another path is to convince people that decentralized storage is much safer and more secure than traditional, but that is counterintuitive and will not be easy. And then bet on security. good luck

And... I have a question concerning the miner: I see that most of you guys set the cpu load at 80/85%, but never 100%. Why is that? Is the hashing performance lesser if you set it 100%? I choose this setting because of two reasons: first: I need my CPU for other work as well, and second: I don't want my CPU to wear down too much by overstressing the cpu with max performance. To be honest I have no clue what I am doing, so if anyone says it does not work this way and my reasoning does not make sense at all, I love to be corrected.. So far it works for me though ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Putting in 100% gave me no noticable more hashing power. First: mention your CPU model. Then what kind of software you use on it and then if you use it 24/7 or only 8-10 hours a day. There are many options - low power mining, undervolting, lowe the number of mining cores, mine only during the night, etc. If you are interested and tweaky enough, you can tailor it to match your lifestyle without affecting your performance. But also keep in mind that a single CPU is not going to make millions of UPX. You can also write an article, or create a piece of software which will bring you much more UPX via the Bounty: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5082311.20;topicseen

http://www.uplexamining.comHi Everyone! We've decided to set uPlexamining.com up to help newbies and experienced miners alike. On our site, you’ll find information about the uPlexa project, instructions on how to mine uPlexa, expected performance of CPU’s/GPU’s, and updates from our wonderful Pool Operators and uPlexa team! Check out our current list of confirmed CPU hashrates on our Hardware Benchmarks page, and help us develop a solid set of data by submitting your own figures! The site will be developed over the coming weeks, and any feedback/requests are welcome on here or via the official uPlexa Discord. Thanks! Thanks for your effort! I already provided my CPU hashrate, however the Benchmarks page is not showing anything. Can you please confirm? I only see an arrow rotating and nothing loads. I also tried opening it via free web proxy - same result. Hi whotheff, that's odd - I've just gone ahead and submitted configurations, using three different computers, via the MPLS at work, and my home broadband. I'm unable to replicate the problem. Any chance you can attach a screenshot, or maybe DM me? When exactly are you seeing the rotating symbol, when you click 'submit'? Appreciate your help with this! I can also take your configs via Discord or DM if you like, but I'd obviously rather the interface was working for everyone! Never mind, it appears that the internet at my workplace is filtered beyond webproxy, probably antivirus is sifting through websites. It worked through my phone.

reading all the details for this project give me much interested to buy a rig to start mining too..what rig do you think is profitable to start mining with this coin..and what exchange do you plan to list/or negotiate to list?
Right now, it's not possible to determine profitability as the code has only been out for 3 weeks and we're not yet listed on any Exchanges. Our official Discord group has some non-official peer-to-peer trading for prices ranging from 15-100 SATS per uPlexa. The overall pool hash rate is still under 4MH/s, which is nothing in Crypto terms. To give you an idea of what you can earn (coin-wise) right now, it's just under 1 UPX per day, per 1H/s - Average i5 laptop @ 600H/s = 540UPX per day - Ryzen 1700@ 3970 H/s = 3571UPX per day Hope this helps! Get involved! Just a quick hint, the Ryzen mentioned here is overclocked to 3.6Ghz and using 14 out of 16 cores, limited to up to 80% CPU load. With full 16 cores it would do more than4100H/s Please add a field for additional tweaks so people can destinguish one setup from another!

I have a nice suggestion for the team. Since this is an IoT mining coin, why not think of a bounty for best uPlexa mining software for a certain device type. Let's say Android phones/tablets.
Or it could be IoT fridges, TV Boxes, etc. It must be: 1. Open sorce, 2. shared for free with uPlexa users.
What do you say?

I've been mining Lethean coin yesterday for 4 hours without any balance increase. And another 4 hours of mining today with same result. Is https://pool.letheancoin.com/ working? Please check and advise!
