301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Next Coin sale until 20.12.14 on: December 08, 2014, 07:42:10 PM
I will say this again CryptoNext.  You have a golden opportunity to choose a better symbol for your IOU and do a better job establishing it ... CNX or CNXT
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Next Coin sale until 20.12.14 on: December 08, 2014, 07:40:13 PM
Cryptonext is a legit company.

CryptoNext is only launching this thread now to stake a claim on the name.

I contacted the company and warned them to change their currency to CNX.

They did NOT do due diligence to establish this ticker for their IOU and they really have no business to be on Bitcointalk as this is just an IOU not a coin.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CXC] The CASH-REGISTER for Crypto-Currency! -ICO ENDING TODAY!! on: December 08, 2014, 07:34:36 PM
I contacted CryptoNext and their representative said they used Mastercoin network to issue the "coin".  As far as I can tell, CryptoNextCoin is a proprietary IOU issued by CryptoNext and is not a coin or a traded commodity on established cryptocurrency exchanges.

Therefore, they are two completely different cryptocurrency applications and it appears these two markets will never overlap.

I believe we should as a community rename the CryptoNext coin to CNX

Cheesy

Back to the CXC Payment Platform...

Congratulations to 3angle and the CXC team on a successful crowd-fund and launch!

Anyone else notice that the CXC Crowdsale and the Sapience AIFX Crowdfund page are pretty much identical in wording.

Can you explain this dev?

For example:

http://crowdsale.cxc.bid/

Quote
DELIVERY
Your CheckoutCoins will be delivered at the end of the crowdsale period to your payment address after the network has launched. The amount of CheckoutCoins allocation due to each deposit address will be calculated as a percentage of your contribution to the total BTC received in the crowdsale, calculated as ((Your BTC Received / Total BTC Received) * Initial CheckoutCoin Supply). CheckoutCoins will be distributed between 24 to 72 hours after the end of the crowdsale.

Delivery

Your Sapience AIFX coins will be delivered at the end of the crowd fund period to your payment address after the network has launched. The amount of Sapience AIFX coins allocation due to each deposit address will be calculated as your contribution to the total BTC received in the crowdfund divided by the bid price, calculated as (Your BTC Received / Bid Price). Sapience AIFX coins will be distributed between 24 to 72 hours after the end of the crowdfunding.

They are using the same template for crowd-sale.

Here's something that's not a secret... the teams are well acquainted with each other...

Yes, they bought a version of the script from me, its similar but there were a few changes they had me do to the code for them.

306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cannacoin (CCN) | PoW->PoSV | No premine | No IPO - [MANDATORY UPDATE!] on: December 07, 2014, 01:02:07 AM
Crazy, never had probs with CCN-Wallet, but now my scanner here (Avast) detect the .exe as malware? WTF  Roll Eyes

So far I've seen Avast and Avira flag it, but Malwarebytes Premium and Windows Defender don't flag it. You are probably getting a warning something like this:

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/9f4418be05ea22f552b12e4cdb98efcde96b975d61f1e8124f808bb87e2ab86d/analysis/

We definitely will be releasing a future wallet that won't have this issue, but it could take some time and hopefully coincide with some graphical updates as well. Sorry bout that, but there's no virus we are confident and the source code is open-source.

There should be an Exception List in Avast where you can add cannacoin-qt.exe and it will not flag your AV

I find it worrying that you're already on a new coin, while you just fully dropped the support on a ICO coin you just released:

What more is there to be done with LKNX?  3angle already stated they are waiting for Greene Concepts Inc. to move forward with the coin.  Did you try getting in contact with the company?  I am genuinely curious if the company will make good on the promises.

As far as I can tell, CXC is a different project and a different application of cryptocurrency
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CCN] - Cannacoin - PoW to Proof-of-Stake Velocity - [MANDATORY UPDATE!] on: December 05, 2014, 07:40:59 PM

Just confirming that would be 12pm EST, not 10.  Correct?

Wow, I was way off.  Actually 3pm PST would be 6pm EST.   Tongue

I'm working in the translation. Do you want that I send you the translation file to post it by yourself?

Muchas gracias Zarton!  Smiley

We have decided to schedule a community/investor/developer meeting to bring everyone together to discuss future projects and why we need everyone's help to accomplish some big goals.  This will be an exciting meeting and we have it tentatively planned for Sunday December 7th at 3pm Pacific US. (10pm Eastern US)

Sounds good. Will this be on IRC? I'd like to be involved but will be in the office at that time, so restricted to using IRC or similar.

Very interesting indeed! I'd also like to know where the meeting is to be held. =D

The meeting will be held as a "conference call" using Mumble.  People will also be welcome to use TokeTalk.Net at the same time for video streaming but it's not required.

I will have more info about this later today.

Thx

Posible hay una persona aqui que puede hacerlo?

Cannacoin has shown steady price increase and volume growth since inception.  Here's some charts for us to look back on as we look towards the future.  We have decided to schedule a community/investor/developer meeting to bring everyone together to discuss future projects and why we need everyone's help to accomplish some big goals.  This will be an exciting meeting and we have it tentatively planned for Sunday December 7th at 3pm Pacific US. 314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SLR] SolarCoin | PoW to PoS v. 2.0 | Solar Proof of Generation (§1 = 1MWh) on: December 04, 2014, 06:25:13 AM
What's up guys?  I'm listening to the Bitcoins & Gravy podcast right now...

Thanks again for your patience everyone with the PoSV wallet updates.  Indeed this transition took much longer than we anticipated but nonetheless Solarcoin will be securing it's network and it's future with this transition.

Cheers,
Patrick

*edit* Also your team might consider getting a CryptoID block explorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/

It is a full-featured block explorer and provides lots of valuable information for investors and users.

I just saw that Cannacoin is listed on the vote list for new coins on cryptsy.

How often do they add new coins from the list? Pretty cool Cheesy

probably best to get to the top of the list, and they usually will add the coin within a month

Could you provide a PoD ?

Just some pictures of yourself would suffice.  I don't trust CryptoAsian or CoinSource to vet developers after MidasCoin and Equinox

I've noticed that KryptoLyding is very good at market analysis.  I am very curious to watch Gaia coin.  I don't usually invest in coin pumps but I might throw some BTC in if there is a correction.  If not, I still might throw some BTC in. Cheesy

I'll bet thats from when I predicted the CCN market 5 times or something like that in my investment thread (since your a CCN dev). You should have followed the thread, I recommended to buy Gaia a week ago Smiley
Investment thread here, if anyone wants to follow and read my tips.

I would highly suggest to invest tokyo, its still a really good price Smiley

Yes, I should have followed your thread Cheesy
