Is anyone else having problems with minerd crashing? It starts, binds threads to all the cores, says "Stratum detected new block" then crashes immediately. It happens every time I start it on 2 different computers, while it works perfectly fine on the third one. All have windows 8.1, all using the same .bat file. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone had any problems with the qubit wallet up not syncing, cannot seem to get it sync and just says 2 weeks behind, out of sync? Am I missing something?

I have just installed windows wallet, placed the .conf file in the correct folder of the wallet but it doesn't sync.
I only get No block source available.
I have around 15 wallets and they all work. no firewall etc

I have 5 computers here. some can mine at 1/3 of speed on p2pool and there are no payments. 2 computers with dual CPU AMD opteron 4171 HE 2.09ghz (normally hashing at 88kh * 8 cores = 700kh+ each computer) on qubit their hash is 33kh*8 cores = 260kh I dunno. I am out of this. I may try again tomorrow thanks for helping "I can mine all other coins except qubit." ))) This is how you can compare the speed of different algorithms? QBit is "qubit" algo, other cpu coin is "quark"! Start mining Bitcoin and see Your speed will go off-scale! |

I actually just figured it out. I was editing the conf as is in the folder with the wallet! And for some reason as standard the appdata folder had no conf for the wallet whatsoever!? So I just popped it in there.
I see alot of people may have made the same mistake! so hopefully people see this.
Before edit or put config file you need start wallet! After start, wallet auto create folder in appdata and create file qubitcoin.conf! This normal for all coin! After edit conf file You need restart wallet! I'm aware of that! but for some reason there literally was no conf file in my appdata at all! Happy to have a balance! 4k apparently!  Now all is well? |
