Stable are the top 20 coins, they are there for a reason, i.e they have shown real progress on their roadmaps and have the support of large communities.

Ok so for me, I am a writer, and I read whitepapers in detail and produce articles from them, I then have various arrangements to publish. After doing it for quite a while you learn to see the crap from the substance. A whitepaper outlines the mission of a project, and if you feel it is well articulated and has substance, then chances are the project will have a good chance at succeeding. But saying that you also need to research outside the white paper to be sure, as you can't rely on the work of the team, you need to look at the team base don other work, search their reputation etc and check their claim and qualifications. can be a lot of work, but the only way to be sure about an investment. My rule is, it's my money so I'm going to make sure it going somewhere where it will make me more money.

I have a huge amount of ERC-20 tokens as I went through a phase partaking in airdrops and the likes, every day I have an ever-increasing useless erc-20 token listing, so I am not going to list them here. But main ones are ICX (Yes i need to do the swap), BBN and of course the king which is ETH

It will be interesting to see how many do well or fail by the end of 2018, I think we could be in a position where the men are separated from the boys by the end of this year. only the truly great ICOs are going to do well.

I am beginning to think that we are a few years off mass adoption. I hope we do well over the next 6 months and the market grows naturally. We need bull runs for people to talk about crypto, then the word spreads

Guys some advice I want to give. I spent months investing in "speculative" projects with low market caps, seeking the large rewards, what I have noticed is that, no matter how high the speculation is, most never do well. Yes down to the bear market but also that because most don't have much substance. My question is then should we all just stick to top 20 coins which have proven themselves in the yes f their investors. I am beginning to think so.

Etherium and Neo are the projects which will explode. These top coins are the safest bets. I also am very bullish on ADA going forward.

I really dont know, I tried taking positions outside the top 100 to my dismay, way too risky, most wont be around in a few months let alone a few years. my advice stick to real projects in the top 20

Can never go wrong with ETH, BTC, NEO, ADA, XLM, and XRP, so if your in any of these you should be safe. These will be the projects still around in 5 years

Dude, generally I would only advise cashing out when you see a project has truly failed or if there is a tiny community around it. So if you feel the project will not deliver and not go up then yes take a loss and move positions into something better.

Yes ETH will get to these levels and Beyond I believe, I even see 3k as a possibility. I believe once the bulls come in mass we will see these levels

don't believe everything you are told, this is how this market works, institutions want people to by so they can make money. general rule, if it looks like a trap and smells like a rap it is a trap

I believe it is possible, but not within this year, Maybe by the end of 2019. 2018 has been one big correction and this correction will continue into the new year I think. BTC will hit 50k someday and maybe even 100k

Just wondering what your opinion on EOS is now? This deep into the bear market and the FUD that has hit the project? I never invested but do see EOS as one of the top projects into the next 5 years.

For me personally, I need to read the whitepaper as a first move, then i need to see if there is a large enough community around the project, then If both are good I will invest

Market corrections are needed for the natural growth of a market, for people who see these drops as panic and the end of the world, zoom out and compare charts to this time last year.

My advice, start writing articles on steemit, this will force you to do research into projects, and will make investing easy, it is so easy to pick bad projects and loose money due to the huge amount of them. Check out media protocol first, one of the best new projects out there

I am heavily invested in ripple, simply because I think their team is amazing and they are a working product
