Thank you rbonestell for a great looking easy to use App.

Setup took less than a minute.

We have been approached by several developers to create different types of Apps to integrate with our platform and we do believe that a good trading app is needed and we are working towards that goal.

In the meantime thank you once again rbonestell for taking the time and developing this great App, we know we will use it.

Havelock Investments

OK, you've redeemed yourselves quite a bit in my eyes. But take note - outward public appearance is very important for a company of your size. I know you probably didn't expect to be worth so much so soon, but now you've got people counting on you to secure all our futures!

Does anyone know the relationship between shares held in lmb-holdings and those in Havelock's NEOBEE offering?

This is great. I just can't believe Havelock (a US$40,000,000 company given all the value they're holding) can't spend 3-4 BTC to get this coded up themselves…

Havelock are kinda triggering my 'scam' alarm a bit...

Has anyone considered legal action? Just because it's 'bitcoin', doesn't mean usual laws about contracts don't apply.

Pankakke - show me an escrow with 20 BTC in it and I'll code it up myself.

I'd really expect a better website from a US$6,000,000 company aiming to be the next global revolution in banking. What would it cost them - like 10-20BTC out of the 7500 they've raised so far on Havelock?

I REALLY like this idea. Have you considered speaking with some business people (maybe a local meet up group or MBA students at a local university/college) and writing up a business plan for submission to Havelock? The reason I ask is that I don't like the idea of sending funds direct to people, no matter how good their idea.

If it's good enough for public funds, it's good enough to list on a BTC stock exchange.

I'm sure you'd get the investment you need to make this huge in just a short time!
308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies! When did you get involved with Bitcoin? How'd you hear about it? on: January 12, 2014, 11:04:49 PM
I first heard about bitcoins around January last year but did nothing about them. The next time it hit my radar was back in April when they exceeded US$100 each for the first time. Nearly took the leap then and bought 50 of the things, but unfortunately buying them is insanely difficult.

I signed up with Mt. GOX - no reply after a week. I looked for a UK exchange - found nothing. Didn't know about localbitcoins. And then I just gave up.

Next thing I know they've hit US$1000 each. Over a few beers a friend tells me he bought 3 during the previous bubble at £80 each using localbitcoins. So that's where I went, and stupidly bought at about £700 each just over the other side of the peak when it was climbing again.

Then China hit. If I'd waited 2 weeks, I'd have bought up twice as many. Have checked the bitcoin news nearly daily since and am very taken by it.

So, just waiting to see what happens. I doubt it'll completely crash, but also I don't expect US$10,000 each like some people. It's just something I want to be part of and follow the excitement. Gambler's mentality maybe, but so far so good. I've even stuck a bit into some companies on Havelock.

Hi, I also really like bitcoin and have convinced my parents to buy 1 just to see what happens. I'm hoping to contribute something to the community myself in future.
