All i see there is a bunch of hypocrits who never even showed up trying to bring ideas. The dev has been honest since the very start most of the time on irc trying to find ways to get some better prices for the coin.
the funniest part in all of this is most of the complainers never showed up a single time trying to suggest new stuff, they probably never voted or never even tryed to promote the coin via any way.
I made suggestions in the past that other people here agreed to and the way you handled those suggestions was just ridiculous, your replies were filled with hypocrisy aswell. So don't bitch now. When your community tried to respond in a proper way, you had no ears. Now that everybody rages there's more respons of the team in a few hours than usually on a whole week. And the raging people are actually being listened to, indirectly encouraging this behavior. And is it a surprise that people start to freak out ? We barely know anything of Harmony coin. We don't know what'll be special nor unique about it. Yinyang on the other hand HAD a unique concept, yet failed. Now you take out the unique concept and expect a successful coin to just appear, after all its bad history and publicity ? This clearly is incompetence from you guys, and don't be a fool blaming this on the community. I've followed this coin each day and you guys actually did some good things to the coin that surprised me. You were able to get it on the market, trading to a decent price right after it died. If only its future would have been stable the markets might have been too. You have a lot of qualities like no other coins have but there's also a lot of incompetence on certain levels and you guys should urgently work on that. Get a plan for this coin, come with a concept that's fail-proof. If you want succes, then build up a community. And don't do this by, for example distributing coins asking us to keep them so we can just watch their value turn to dust. This was a no-brainer. These things don't build a community, it feeds leechers. Get a concept that makes us want to be involved on the long run. Something we can look up to, without dramatised punchlines like, i quote: "We expecting all these changes to get Yincoin and Yangcoin to their natural floors around 10000 satoshis."Make a unique coin that you can manage this time, don't come with a coin to put your capabilities on the test. Do things within your capabilities. Make no speculations of 'high floors' if there's nothing to supports a speculation like that. And if you did something wrong: just admit it, be a man and work for a solution. You will automatically gain the trust of people and this is how a community can be born. They'll see the team can handle an obstacle, without having to relaunch every time and take a stap back from that obstacle in order to hit in again a bit later. But right now we've only see this coin struggle and people holding the coin feel like they are in a dangerously volatile investment. Relaunches instead of improvements every few weeks... And you couldn't speak much of an improvement when you look at the past relaunches. You must come up with a good idea this time and not just an interim or substitute coin that doesn't look that promising. Make us shiver to this new coin. Tell us why this coin will not fail and why it will be BIG, so people won't be anxious for changes made to the swap etc. There's no shame on admitting you failed in the past, many great men 'failed' before. Just remember that every single fail is a step closer to succes. And that's why i still have hope in you guys. |

Well, I learned you guys have no appreciation for the fact that I am one of the only devs who is not just quitting on a coin and instead I'm being active to do something to actually give you guys value back. I will just go ahead and keep it the way it's planned 25mil total with 15mil for Yin/Yang at a 1:1 swap even if that means it will probably fail. I'll do everything I can to make it succeed, but this is by far not the best way to do it in order to make a new coin that new people will want to be a part of.
Just make a plan, and bring it out when you thought it through. We might like it and understand why it's better than the one before. But i think you're on the wrong path now... if you change the swap ratio, then change the max coins in such ratio that it changes nothing or not as much as it will right now, for starters. |

Over how much time are we talking about til they can all be exchanged, and how do we decide who gets to exchange their Yinyang coins during that "time"? I have got a lot of coins and don't want it to take weeks to switch them over.
I agree, the prices are just dropping so fast because people think the swap will be too limited in time. And there's just nothing to convince us that the price of harmony coin will not crash during that time. At least some more frequent updates on the progress & future plans would be welcome... A low yin/yang price might look interesting for the swap but its price will also decide what Harmony will be sold/bought for... |

Poloniex wallet seems to be running slow, my yin address was from there and yin coins haven't arrived yet  Yang coins did arrive, those were sent to wallet on my pc. I'll wait for a few more hours, Pol is very laggy in general atm The way the distribution work is we hand out 2k yang to 500 applicants then 2000 yin 10 days after to the ones who still hold their yang from the initial distribution. This is the way to reward the holders. I see, i thought 2k of each initially and after 2k each again. my bad |

The 3 mil of each will equal 6m the dev has them in the wallet you can chek his wallets nothing has moved. Once the new transition happen he will simply exclude them with the new coin cap. Correct, if you read about the new coin, only 15mil will be reserved for yin/yang. This will remove any pre-mine I ever had, and all coins will be the hands of the community. No, all three will not exist, it will become just Harmony coin. This will take some time to happen though. Your Yin/Yang though will be exchanged for Harmony coin though. One problem is the concept of managing two coins at once, it is very difficult. One coin can more focused. I see, looks like a good solution loved the concept of 2 coins though, but you got to do best for the future. one thing i dont get: how exactly are 15 mils yin/yang going to be in the hands of the community ? even if 2 times 5k y/y would be distributed to 500 people, combined with the coins in circulation, the community couldn't even have half of 15 mil ? how will this work ? |

My wallets are not synchronizing and are 11 weeks behind, i downloaded them a couple of days ago. It says there is no source of blocks available (where it usually says "synchronizing with network"). I thought this was because of the relaunch but seeing the pics above people are only 1 hour behind. Did i forget to do something ? I thought it synchronizes automatically
Try to check and add those nodes listed on the 1st page for each coin wallet. nodes are same as on the front page, and saved in appdata/yincoin and appdata/yangcoin. and i did save them as .conf, not .conf.txt ... however it does open as a text when i click it (but it is a CONF file though, as its properties show !) maybe this is the problem ? all my .conf files do this You need the file to " save as " and check the " save as type " field to " all files" and rename the file as yincoin.conf / yangcoin.conf respectively yes i did. the files are actually CONF files (not conf.txt) its properties also say it's CONF. i think i opened them with notepad once and accidentally asked to always open CONF files as a text. can i change this ? i have windows 7 .. is there a guide on how to install the wallets on the forum ? then i don't have to bother you guys with this.. i couldn't find one |

well a solution could be: offering currently existing wallets a certain % of the yin/yang they hold, before the public distribution. Kind of like a POS reward. These coins will be given to those who invested in and kept their coins after the (second) relaunch announcements, meaning:
-no dumpers will be rewarded
-coins will be given as a reward to those who actually did something good for the coin/community (read: those who didn't dump)
-result: these coins will more likely be well-handled since they're in the right hands
-this will increase the reliance in the future for newly investors
Afterwards you could implement the public distribution to grow the community and nothing else has to change to what's planned already at this point. The two public distributions can just follow straight after.
Just an idea.

1-The coin price was below 100 satoshi, how do you expect it to go lower? I was referring to the price a few days ago 2-The distribution will be done in multiple waves, in order to participate in wave 2 you will either need to have kept your coins from wave 1 or be a new applicants. This is how holders will be rewarded more then the non holders.

It is not because you only hold a coin longer or have paid for it that you deserve to be rewarded for it contradiction ? 4-We should stop talking about the price and the investments, right now the concept of yin and yang being 2 coins is pretty unique with a total coins cap of 15M it can easily go above 4-5k sat in the markets. contradiction˛ ? when you work and help the coin grow thats when you should be rewarded imo Aiding the trade volume by selling and buying, even when the price was >300s with the knowledge it was doomed to heavily drop, is helping imo. Especially because I didn't dump but kept them instead. But nevermind, I wanted to bring up a point of my view and was hoping for some understanding. Don't want to devaluate or start criticism in a vulnerable stage of this flowering community, so i'll rest my case. I hope the best for the future and will not stop believing in this coin. |
