I wish I could advertise on Agora forums, but I loathe the thought of going on Tor  That right there should be reason for people to switch - not having to worry about exit nodes & such. Set up I2P and you're good to go, is Agora on I2P or Tor only? I didn't think, maybe it is? |

When the seller approves the purchase, the seller's client constructs the first part of the escrow lock transaction which contains their security deposit and sends this to the buyer's client. The buyer's client then adds their own Sling inputs for payment and the buyer's deposit, signs the transaction and sends it to the seller to sign and broadcast the completed transaction to the Sling network.
Neither party's funds are locked (unavailable for spending) until the transaction is submitted to the Sling network. If either party fails to complete the escrow message exchange or submit the completed escrow to the Sling network, either can cancel the escrow by sending their own Sling inputs for the transaction to another address they own. Cancellation is only possible if the completed escrow transaction has not been sent to the Sling network first.
Delivery
Once escrow lock is complete, the buyer's client prompts them for delivery details for the order. These are then sent to the seller for delivery.
Escrow Release
Upon receiving delivery of satisfactory good/service, if the buyer chooses to initiate payment, their client constructs a transaction which releases the deposits to their respective parties and sends the payment to the seller in a similar process to how the escrow was locked.
If the buyer does not receive the good/service or finds them unsatisfactory, they can request a refund from the seller. The refund request constructs a transaction which sends the deposits to their respective parties but returns the payment to the buyer. If the seller approves the refund, the transaction is completed in a similar process to how the escrow was locked.

No offense but the comments on reddit sounds like a bunch retards. They can't understand simple concepts and/or just overlook things, like that it has i2p support (for ip anon and you could probably make an i2p site with seller reviews and ratings), plus it already states in op that it has encrypted messaging.  TBH.. Reddit sucks, I wish that site would just die off, or maybe rather replaced by some sort of decentralized version! *BUT* I guess it helps getting the word out about SLING, I just don't feel like trying to inform and teach the 10 year old idiots. |

The market uses multisig as part of it's escrow feature... if somebody modified the code and the new version didn't have multisig then it wouldn't get accepted when transacting with a non modded/unsafe version.

Is it possible now that the market is opensource that someone could modify & compile their own client but with code that would be circumventing things like the escrow system or somehow cheating the escrow system?
Maybe opensource is actually a vulnerability in this case? I still would not use a closed source market though

I got so many orphaned blocks also i have only 2 active connections to sling network

Usually happens when your time is slow or not right on your computer, make sure it's sync'd correctly. I also noticed network weight has gone up over the last couple days, so might be that much more competition in staking. |

I can maybe get girls from craigslist (craigs is fairly easy to find girls that need to do stuff for money).. to do stuff on cam sites or one we create
problem is convincing them to advertise a coin that's not worth much right now (but has big potential)
but also paying them an amount they want.

Indirectly replace their tokens with direct payment to the girls, skipping out the middleman.
Be aware they might be breaking some kind of Terms of Service and could be banned if they are not using whatever "middleman" they are supposed to use there. Just saying this based on how sites like that usually work. Would be better off making a new site centered around Sling.. like SlingSluts.com or something. |
