301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SCALA (XLA) price went 250% up according to coinmarketcap. HOW?! on: May 11, 2020, 07:36:27 AM
That is a ploy to lure people to buy the token and once they do, they are a gunner. What is the essence of having a pumped token without liquidity to Carter for the corresponding increase? Avoid such project.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Just a remark about Bitcoin, Gold and Water... on: May 09, 2020, 03:12:26 PM
So if bitcoin is liken to water in the sky, it means water is much more in great demand here on earth and without which we our society can certianly do nothing. This implies bitcoin is much more important than gold. Well bitcoin and gold are both good form of investment but bitcoin has a better ROI and it's easier to start trading than a regulated market like gold.
303  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 will pave the way for CBDCs on: May 09, 2020, 03:02:01 PM
For some time now, I have been making almost all my payment through electronics transfer, resolve all my banking issues online except I need to sign off a mandate or pick an ATM card from the bank. I honestly see no much reason printing money and storing them inside the bank vault with policemen and security forces on guard,  and making cashiers to keep counting cash with the hazard that comes with it. Many banks in my city have shut their doors because of Covid-19, and they said people must think digital to safeguard our health. We must move away from paper money at lest with 90%.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Firm Claims Inverse Correlation Between USDT and Bitcoin Price on: May 09, 2020, 02:44:54 PM
This basically mean the more USDT we have in exchange, the more likely bitcoin is going to dump and the reverse should be true supposedly. Nevertheless, this can actually not be 100% accurate as it's just some pattern observation and they drew their possible conclusion. What if we have huge USDT in the market and no seller of btc is ready to short for fear of market uncertainty. Their study is correct to some degree because the market is heavily manipulated.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Net worths if Bitcoin reaches $100,000 on: May 09, 2020, 02:35:26 PM
I didn't see Craig Wright name, so he's not even among top BTC holders and yet he goes about claiming he's Satoshi and deceiving people. I know someday that bitcoin holders and cryptocurrency traders will financially rule the world.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: Money History - Introduction to Ancient Exchanges on: May 08, 2020, 03:36:58 AM
Money has been in a steady dynamic change over the years. When some friends tell me bitcoin is a pyramid scheme or is going to crash, I remind them on the evolution of money, many wonder how can these wonderful banks be someday be taken over by another form of money other than the current paper money. Well I just let them know robots are taking over humans, and smartphones have shutdown cybercafe and the list is endless.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: Layoffs Start Turning From Temporary to Permanent Across America on: May 08, 2020, 03:20:26 AM
I certainly would have preferred companies come up with pay cuts than laying off large numbers of staff. These ones will have to rely on government monthly package for a developed and rich nations while developing and underdeveloped poor nations whom are affected will just be dehumanized when they can't figure out what to do sustain livelihood. I hope people don't start taking to suicide.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebooting the World after the COVID-19 Shutdown on: May 08, 2020, 03:13:52 AM
I couldn't find the article, was too long and became boring a Philosophy. I wish it was a new discovery on science on how to tackle global recession by staying home and making money with a scientific code. Lols.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wonder how much is the $1200 stimulus package worth now if invested on BTC? on: May 07, 2020, 05:07:22 AM
Nice tracking, it could have gone either way. So it will be safer to long it for the persons who necessarily don't have immediate need for the money. But how many of them understand bitcoin?
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was mentioned in the TV Show Billions on: May 07, 2020, 04:58:02 AM
Don't be naive to think billionaires who never speak of bitcoin in the public are not secretly investing in bitcoin. Currently, I have a multimillionaire in my country who sneaks to my office and house, and we occasionally meet at a joint to lecture him about bitcoin and help him buy for the future. He doesn't want his friends to know what he's into neither does he tweet or post about bitcoin.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig wright found to have plagiarized his PhD-not really a doctor of anything on: May 07, 2020, 04:43:38 AM
Lets hope the University does it’s job - they take plagiarism very seriously  Smiley

And I hope there will never be any cover up of some sort. When the findings are out and found to be truth, what then will be the faith of BSV and Wright followers? I hope just will be served.
312  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages of crypto on: May 06, 2020, 01:24:03 PM
@lizzy you are right. But that of cryptocurrency business happens more often. In fact, 90% of icos will turn out fake and few more remaining percentage can distribute to investors and hunters but very low volume, meaning it will be useless. In crypto business, just very minimal coins succeed. To succeed though, it is better to buy existing and top coins.

We can learn to avoid scamming projects, we also know IEO/ICO has made us richer than IPO (initial public offer) of companies and banks, I loss hugely in my bank shares till date they are useless, Crypto comes with high risk and great risk. A old timer just chatted me up she wants to buy bitcoin worth $2,800. She knows nothing about Cryptocurrency, telling her to buy IEO or new projects is senseless, we should avoid new projects if we are not strong enough to wait and make proper reviews.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee says he received call from Satoshi Nakamoto asking not to be reveal on: May 06, 2020, 12:46:41 PM
John McAfee is one of the comic crypto currency trader and influencer we have in this space, when he talks like this, it's just to joke off his many ordeals from the government and not to be taken serious. There was a time he was to review he Satsohi was last year, but he made a U-turn, he neither know Satoshi nor has he ever receive call from him.
314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages of crypto on: May 06, 2020, 12:42:43 PM
There are so many advantages in crypto that are not available in so many other aspects of money

cons :
unregulated
bad reputation
many scams

What do you mean by bad reputation and many scams? You may not have heard or seen wonder banks that promise high interest rate and even open physical offices and get registered by the cooperate affairs commission and will be paying tax only to wake up one day and find out they are gone to the air without trace. I was expecting to see irreversible transaction as one of the cons, this con is also a pro since we may be dealing peer-peer un-trusted person.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GEOMA Dao ICO Discussion on: May 06, 2020, 04:50:10 AM
GEO has for long sent the bounty rewards except for some part of the campaign. Maybe they want to control price of the project reason they are sending in batches. Some of my friends who participated in the campaign got theirs at various campaign level. Wait was the ICO sold at 0.0074ETH or $0.0074?
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HIVE - THE STEEMIT FORK on: May 06, 2020, 04:45:18 AM
I think the community of Hives are been enthusiastic about freedom and wanted to let Justin understand that community matters and with a strong and dedicated community, a lot can be achieved. This is the power of an open source decentralized system, you try to act against the will of the community, they just move ahead by way of fork.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: May 05, 2020, 02:07:26 AM
The exchange is suspicious because of OP style of promotion, OP is seems like a bad actor  who wants to lure community to a new un-trusted exchange his account should be flagged for biased and egocentric high rating for this new exchange. Please, avoid this exchange for now. I just made a post on their telegram for them to make a proper announcement on this forum. Hopefully I see how they respond. Telegram link here to my post: https://t.me/propersix1/13138

This my message for them to come here and make a proper announcement for possible scrutiny has been deleted. No one should use this exchange it should be a scam. They are even conducting KyC
318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: He Lost His Investment. See what Happened! on: May 05, 2020, 02:04:09 AM
What has just happened to your friend is some shit borne out of lack of financial intelligence. These type of investment was what I loss my fund to, not by giving my money to a known friend but some scamming companies in 2017 in a big quest to double my bitcoin I went all out in all manner of crypto investment. The most damaging of all was USI-TECH, I loss big but that didn't end my world, it only affected my marriage. Never again will I return to Egypt, Amen.
319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading. Where to start? on: May 05, 2020, 01:48:36 AM
Because of the fear of one losing more fund than one is trading by plummeting into payment of debt in an unregulated market like cryptocurrency wherein TA can be rendered useless by some manipulations makes me stick with spot trading. I have seen good technical guys have their trades reverse because of news from some corner that may even be a FUD.

Coingecko is far much better than CMC know. The worst part about CMC is that it takes long time to load because of the advertisment s. I personally have been using Coingecko now.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this coinmarketcap madness of delay in loading page and searching for coin, it use to be faster than we have today, had to stop using my Iphone for android because it never loads there but keeps hanging. Coingecko is standing out. I hope Binance looks into this CMC slowness.
