low inflation, limited supply, stable store of value, 3 minutes blocks, send digital gold/platin anywhere in the world within seconds, one of the lowest inflation commodities on the planet, low/almost zero gravity, perfect coin to invest and store value, protected against monetary inflation, commodity not currency, high efficiency, no bleeding from miners, perfect to hold longterm, resilient blockchain running like a clockwork, easy to use, fair initial distribution with around 1 year inflationary period with pow mining. no regrets.   Cool
welcome to uno

Bitcoin can only dream of this.  Wink

.... and no Gavincoin-forks (uno can handle 3 times the amount of users/transactions that bitcoin can thanks to 3 minute blocks)

'Bitcoin on Steroids'  Wink

(you have to preach it sometimes Wink )

You guys see uno hitting $10 this year?

I certainly do. Possibly even much higher. (no guarantee for anything though - invest at own risk, there is no such thing as a sure thing in crypto)
Depends on demand too.

Currently 15 new coins per day is minted. After may this year will be only 7.5 coins per day.
Bitcoin is 3600 coins per day until 2016 ... so you do the math.

And today UNAT's 24 hour volume at Bittrex is exactly  0.00000000 BTC

lol

I'm honored if you like my twitter. I just tweet what i think and don't care if people like it or not. Currently i'm more trolling Bitcoin than anything else (cuz it deserves it right now).  Cheesy

My twitter is certainly hard to digest sometimes for some people but that's intended. Can't please everyone all the time Wink
Like to be provocative sometimes. So follow my unorthodox twitter at your own risk.  Wink

Is there any estimate how many members UNO community has?  Huh
As far as I know, I am astonished on the number of passive wallets in UNO community.
If you browse through top 100 wallet adresses, there are more than enough wallets that have been passive for months, some even more than 1 year.
Looks like a huge part of UNOs are located in strong hands.

it's 12000 active wallets so should be at least 1000 people, maybe up to 3000
Holding Uno longterm does make sense so it's no surprise seeing people doing that.  Wink

Please put some UNO for sale to Bittrex. There is a shortage of UNOs, once again.  Angry

that's an opportunity to arbitrage Smiley

@ Gustav: spent 5 or 7 posts yesterday arguing with a guy who just couldn’t grasp that Unobtanium is at all different from Bitcoin.

‘This rarity thing (he says) is just not real/relevant!’

Supply and demand make a price - i don't know what's to argue about it. We have shown it in the numbers many times on this thread how Uno is very different from other coins. Not everyone wants or can understand it. Maybe he needs a picture drawn to get his head around it or something.  Wink

Blockrewards are real and the impact of miners on the cryptomarkets are also real. Not everyone is a pioneer or independant thinker. Most people will buy Uno when it's a much more established coin and on a higher marketcap.
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has this capitulation been so slow? on: January 31, 2015, 10:41:42 PM
This never gets discussed and no reasons immediately spring to mind

Why is capitulation slow? Well, because the sellpressure from the miners isn't so rapid. The slow death of btc might accelerate however past the 200$-mark
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: As Bitcoin crashes to the abyss altcoins will become independant in price on: January 31, 2015, 09:53:46 PM
Alts are soaring while bitcoin sells off. I think we will face a new paradigm soon. OP was right on the money.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 31, 2015, 09:52:19 PM
Alts are soaring right now.

312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 31, 2015, 08:05:50 PM
I think it is very good thing for UNO to have high price.
Higher price means there is incentive for miners to mine despite the upcoming drastic reward decreases.
We might cross 0.1 btc price this year.  Shocked

There is civil war ongoing in Bitcoin about the hardfork. Alts are on the up right now. I'm counting on 0.1 for Uno , that's much more according to the value i see.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 31, 2015, 08:04:15 PM
I just saw that Tweet. Is the side-chaining business good for UNO?

I would recommend watching first how other coins do in the wild with it. I personally don't see huge value in them. Maybe i'm wrong. Let's observe others first what it does for them. Needs to hardfork too, doesn't it? It certainly increases complexity and blockchain size, and that's not a pro for security. Let others go first and watch how they do imo.  Wink

314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite altcoin reached $500 on: January 31, 2015, 04:03:09 AM
You wake up tomorrow morning and you find out your favorite coin has reached $500/coin. What would you do?  Huh

I'm counting on it. I think it will happen. What will i do? Worry about taxes and security. Maybe travel.  (see signature)
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ENOUGH WITH THE SCAM COINS. BUY ID'D DEV COINS ONLY! on: January 31, 2015, 03:58:14 AM
Buy UNO, don't be left behind.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: There has got to be a bottom soon? on: January 30, 2015, 10:30:49 PM
too much gravity

look at uno, it doesn't give a shit  Wink

I had to stop selling because i can't get back in lower.
tbqh i stopped to care about bottoms for Bitcoin. I can't see it before the halving.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: January 30, 2015, 09:45:05 PM
blockchain security will be weakend with this a lot

(less fees for miner which is important after rewards decrease, larger chain, more central mining) = blockchain security to your anus
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: And the crash continues on: January 30, 2015, 02:07:17 PM
Well, and then there was a dreammaterial by the name 'Unobtanium' ...   Wink

I hope everyone is holding a few in their portfolio, just in case...
It deserves a close look.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTCBTC = hellatrojanepicmegagreendildotastic in 24 hours on: January 29, 2015, 11:12:13 PM
This happening would also represent a black swan event for Bitcoin which is over valued compared to alts after becoming itself an exaggerated hypecoin with broken promises and really bad technical fundamentals.

This happening would mean a lot of volatility and profit for people in altspace and hardcore butthurt for large bitcoin holders as their hype would be coming down and bitcoin would have to compete on a plain field after that with the alts. It could even potentially crash Bitcoin.

So you are saying.. buy frk? Smiley

LOL. Later maybe, thanks  Smiley
But could appreciate too of course.

But still too early to call doom.
