CLEARING THE FUD
That was the most epic display of FUD I have ever seen. Let me clear this up for people who are panicking and asking questions still:
#1. Libertycoins.co - Yes, one of the devs (social media) seems to have old associations with the LibertyCoin community takeover. He used his webhosting to test the new Librex site. Keep in mind that the URL IS NOT the official LibertyCoin page. It looks like the good devs from Libertycoin left to help create Librexcoin. Very noble if you ask me.
#2. Twitter - Yes, the dev accidentally wrote "LibertyCoin" instead of "LibrexCoin" when updating their twitter feed. Once again, this is because their social media dev previously worked on LibertyCoin and is probably used to typing "LibertyCoin" 50x a day. "Librex" and "Liberty" are very similar, it was a mistake. Ever been thinking one thing and type out something different? This was human error and bad timing, that's all.
#3. Shadowcoin post - The replied to the FUD first in the Shadowcoin before his own thread. Why? Because he is tired and trying to clear the FUD. He thought he was on his own page when posting on btcTalk. Upon realizing he was on the wrong page, he posted the update on his own thread which was his original intention.
This guys are really great devs and have been hard at work on their planned new features + promotion. They are overworked and made a few typos and mistakes, this is no reason to bail from the coin! If anything it shows these devs are legit and ready to do something meaningful.
Also, if it was a scam.. why support the coin? why continue to dev? why release the first mobile PoS wallet? That's because there is no scam here, just an extreme case of FUD and panic. This coin should be 10k+ and will be as soon as people regain confidence in the dev.
Good post. Bottom line is people need to look at the evidence and decide for themselves. I for one am enjoying the great buying opportunity as I missed the train the first time.

A good opportunity? You are delusional. This is a very risky opportunity where the risk far outweighs any possible worthwhile reward. I was going to invest @ 5k until I found this out. Then I try to get asnwers from dev only to have my posts deleted. Yeah no thanks, I've seen this scenario all too many times and it never ends well.
keep your pants on. devs removing FUD from their threads is VERY COMMON. this was epic fud. you recall seeing this at the top of the page? This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic.

we can get 100K sat with POD when you know the dev cant run off or even if he does run off he cant make another shit coin i feel more comfortable putting money in
agree it is being discussed on irc come an chat to dev Yea dev is talking about doing some proof of development. Then we can finally move on from this epic fud.

Listen up all IDIOTS that cannot understand english or comprehend anything that has been said.
libertycoins.co was the site the libertycoin community built when we tried the community takeover from TEMPLAR77 (libertycoin.co)
Librexcoin Dev was spearheading the Libertycoin community takeover to try and save our investments in Libertycoin (XLB)
Thats all...the guy is damn hero in my book. He mistype one fucking word on twitter. Thats all.
guys.....my phone auto corrects librex to liberty. dev could have posted from a phone. even skype pc client auto corrects it to liberty. Try it for yourself
holy crap what a shake down! sorry for those that sold.....
So why did Dev post this tweet? He is the dev that was trying to save Libertycoin. And obviously just got confused. To be fair, Skype and my phone both auto correct librex to liberty....
Do you ever think this is just to make you guys dump your coins into the hands of someone else? Looks like they got you.....

isn't it a little bit low 0.001? most likely whales at work. Buy some up cheap while you can because its going to be going up a bit after this.
Thats why I dont get this. I decided to go in with a tiny amount, around 0.5 BTC, only because of the new dev news. I was expecting the price to rise, and it did the opposite. This goes against all logic...
Oh well. Its the game I guess... will have to wait it out.
Thanks guys!
mbs
We just went from 200K to 120K and back to 200K in like a 24 hour period. You should expect some sell off from people that bought at the bottom to make some quick profit. Dont worry. We should see 300K in the next few days. Bob says so.

Sit tight and hold your cloaks people. The whales are at play and they arent done. I predict cloak will go to a new high in a few days.
I'm so glad I picked up some more Cloak on the dip! I feel bad those that sold at 120K. EEEK! Price already up 20K since the news!

The "IF" block does not exist today. Did Cloakcoin implement that? This may be troublesome, as you need to write a temporary block into the formal chain and at some point (say 10 blocks later) rewrite it in permanent form.
Moreover, if the "IF" block exist, how to do you the sender (or whoever created it) write it in good condition? If the sender is a cheater, he can write a false condition that will fail, and Node#1 will stupidly send the coins to Joe, and sender will get his coins back. How can you prevent that? Remember this is an automatic process, no one is going to inspect the blockchain by hand.
Same for Joe, since the 1st coin already in his hand (#1 _POSA address is his, so basically he already got the coin, he can write a fraudulent IF block and get double amount easily).
Conclusion: this will not work as there's nothing force the sender/receiver to behave correctly.
Yes I agree, these are the issues. There's nothing forcing they write good "IF" in the block they post to the network. So this can easily be fraud. Since sender is the one who write IF. So his IF can be to check an address he created, instead of the receiver created address. He is the one who post the "IF" tx to the network, he can do anything he wants. Good observations. As I said before, a trustless system needs to have mechanism that forces all parties behave correctly, otherwise it will not work... This is all speculation. You don't know if there are measures in place. Once PoSA is released, the facts and flaws(if any) will make themselves known.

***The XC Daily Update***
Hello all It's been confirmed by the developers that XChat will include voice calling in post-Rev 3 editions, and video calling further into the future. So basically we have a decentralised, private, Skype. Here's to the future! That sounds amazing, really looking forward to this! Any more details on how it might work? Thats pretty sweet. Will it be free to use, or cost like a transaction fee? Is it a direct client to client connection?
