Aaand I'm back. Had to focus a bit on shit I've been neglecting lately, including but not limited to my actual job and sleep Say bye to (most of) the lag on Windows if you're willing to take a slight hit in performance. Basically I'm now splitting the heaviest part of the Cryptonight core into smaller batches with a little sleep between launching the batches. The default is still no splitting and no sleeping on Linux, on Windows it gets split into 64 batches with 100 microseconds sleep between the batches. Both values can be set on the command line per-device. I'm running it as I type this and while there is still noticeable lag, it's not too bad. The performance hit is pretty negligible on the defaults, something like 5 H/s. Well, on my system anyway. Latest win32 binary at https://github.com/tsiv/ccminer-cryptonight/releases/tag/v0.14 and source at https://github.com/tsiv/ccminer-cryptonight as you might expect. this commit broke mining under linux giving lot of: GPU #0: result for nonce $00000069 does not validate on CPU! reversing the commit and building again fixed it. Make sure to do a clean build, I had a lot of that when I was just rebuilding parts while working on it. Just did a clean build and confirmed it works. ok, it works with a clean build, thank you.

maybe a dumb question, but could somebody tell me if having all coin on one address instead of distributed on many (but the same wallet) makes any difference for the stake mining?

And for the cudaminer, I got way better results with the 32bit. For every user I helped here, and everywhere else like IRC, the 32bit seems to work better. And BECAUSE there was a 64bit version, everyone was stuck with this one and was wondering why I got 20-40kh more than their cards...
i missed this part... is it just a windoz/cudaminer oddity or should i rebuild a 32bit ccminer on linux too? thank you.

Christian - do you have a suggestion on making something like this for linux? Would it be as simple as building a bash script using replacement system variables or is it more complicated?
Look at the batch file, it shouldnt be too hard to convert it to linux. But I dont have a linux rig for testing here and i dont know how to change gpu overclockings within linux too. But maybe someone else can do it for you. i can help in my spare time, the nicehash one? the other? both?

Investing is a gamble and we should be aware of it. That's it!
again, gambling or investing is not like being scammed! you don't notice the subtle difference?

If you are unsure about $20, you should not be in Bitcoin at all....
i mine just for fun and with just ONE gtx660, so $20 for me is a lot of money... i've already lost .044 on mtgox and .05 btc on btc-arbs, it was not funny! i've no problem donating but i don't tolerate scams, period

I just plugged my monopoly money from BTC-Arbs into http://remitrade.com/?partner=sev09. Feel free to use my referral or not. I've only been in a few days, but it's paying out. You can't withdraw your money until the end of the "investment period", though. Enter at your own risk. RemiTrade had good reviews from InstantScamAlert.com, though, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's play money, after all. hmmm... daily profit over 1%, little suspicious... however i'm into bitcoin-trader.biz since the beginning of april (just with one $20 share) never had problems cashing out every ~10 days, but i'm unsure about renewing after the 120 days period....

could you please build it for linux too? i need a working wallet! thank you.

I would also like to remind everyone that I might send coins randomly if I see a JPC address in your signature. here it is!!! take into account i always had bad luck with jackpots because low block share ratio

Hey everyone!
I'm thinking about mining for cinni thru cinni pool using a rented rig for a short time, maybe a day. Was wondering if this is smart considering the current state the coin is at. So I'm wondering what kind of opinions you all might have. I'm very interested in mining but can only rent. Been looking for a good profitability calc too, so if anyone could link me to it, that would be awesome.
I'm just trying to refocus my investments a but, but def into a coin that has greater potential and a strong dev and community behind it.
Thanks!
i've rented for 3 hours a scrypt rig for 0.004 btc/mh/day (total price: 0.0006 btc) from miningrigrentals.com and got only 3 cinni, so it was not profitable with current price...
