I understand the importance of monitoring workers to ascertain there level of productivity, and to improve workers attendance and also enhance Cyber security but then, the inability of most management to go about this ethically has been of great concern to me.

What's your view about this?
So am trying to come to terms with privacy when it comes to a working environment and I think for most companies, they do a great deal in doing that. Your in a work environment and should be doing your job when your there, there isn’t anything wrong with a company have high level of control of there asset and by that I mean human and gadgets included while within the work premises. It’s important that they know what is being done with their gadgets as you could ruin them, reputation and otherwise.

Having a CCTV camera in place serves a number of purpose which includes protection of its staff and vindication of staff as well. It’s not so negative with this. Perhaps when your home you could get more privacy and not at work. The places where privacy is of vital essence in a work place, it’s often ensured possible and that be the toilet. Else, go home!

Rich gets richer and poor is getting poorer that's why you see long queue while you book a car or going to an expensive restaurant, etc. There is no way to turn this around unless you wakeup to the reality and starts making changes in your life that will lead to you make more money.
It’s an interesting circle of life that very few people tends to break from one circle to the other. While the rich might be way too luxurious and careless with their taxes to eventually go bankrupt the poor look to level up in status or eventually get crushed.
All is in an attempt for life to go on and life most go on else, what is it to living.
The society is designed by men and men do live it still. What we might experience is either more and more entrepreneurship with individuals becoming more innovative by the day or more crime rate, that’s how it is. All is in the bid to survive, it’s always been survival of the most prepared. People would enjoy what you might call expensive or lavish lifestyle and still have some to spare, it’s simply where you are in life and how prepared you are.

Will Darwin ever stop spamming shot straight to the GK? If he works on his shooting abilities he would be one of the best striker of this generation.

To be honest, Darwin was an ice-cold finisher in his Benfica days. I'm not sure why he keeps getting offsite and hitting the post so often now.

Would be a great idea to bench him next GW though (unless your username happens to be "buwaytress").

He's now playing in a more competitive league, against actual defenders and not random part-time farmers from the Portuguese league. He'll do well; he's only 24 and has only one weakness (shooting). He has the most shots on goal this season (95), but only converts 11. The next Liverpool manager might be the spark for his breakthrough.

Too many captain options to choose from this week. Halaand is not going to get more than 60mins, he's one of my problem now.
True though, Darwin has been terrible in most of his games but, you could say his improved since Salah’s absence due to the AFCON, this he has carried on till now, though his strains of weak and poorly directed shots is still visible, he’s been finding the net in most games to actually consider him for a striker on my team. His got pretty decent points if you look at it but, his hardly my concern at the moment.

Cole Palmer just trashed my hopes of getting in the top 5 with his performance yesterday. I knew he was that good but, coming up with such performance against Manchester United, even I didn’t expect that for sure. Chelsea have been terrible when they played Manchester United and so, I took Palmer out to accommodate M. Salah and he gets 20points while Salah could only get 2 points. Worst decision in recent times.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 05, 2024, 11:27:42 PM

Like wise me too, I was shock about the out come of the match yesterday I couldn't believe that Manchester united is going to lose that match to Chelsea, I was just hoping that dey will win the match or dey draw the game, because my prediction on that game was draw I even bet the match as draw game but to my greatest surprise Chelsea tock the lead, I think a huge win them.
We can’t always expect Chelsea to always be that terrible can we… Chelsea came into the game and took the lead early in the game. Sincerely, I wasn’t surprised when I found Manchester United suddenly in front, I knew Chelsea wasn’t the kind of team to hold a win and they’ve been specially bad in the second half of there games but, it was quite shocking what they did in there game yesterday. To the amazement of everyone, they came from loosing 2-3 goals to not even settle for a draw but went ahead to win the game in a 4-3 Chelsea victory, that’s the type of quality Cole Palmer brought to the team and the fans are loving it.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: April 05, 2024, 11:21:45 PM
If you are not an addict then you are good to go. But sometimes we can be in the motion of actually gambling and even forget ourselves and make a very stupid move that we might find regretful at the end sometimes. So many people actually bet crazy sometimes but that doesn't certify that they are addict, the sure thing to note is that you are well aware of the action and note to correction if possible even.
There was this one time I was chasing my gambling losses and it proved to have been some of the worst moves I did while gambling. As if I never knew better to not chase my losses but I did. I had the intent of just gambling a certain amount on this day and it was sucked up, I lost. That’s how I found myself on the path of recovery and it was such a dreaded path. I wished I had ended it with the first lose but no, I gambled even more, increasing my stakes every time and it was sucked up. Ended up with several triers and still same result until my last two stakes. I ended up recovering 70% of my total bet amount but had a gross lose. It felt terrible and that’s what it was.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: Farming and it importance to the economy on: April 03, 2024, 05:57:00 PM
Farming is an agricultural practices that involves the cultivation of crop's and plants for the consumption of man either in commercial or subsistence ways
If your definition of farming centers on just crops (plants) as I see it there in OP, then you don’t know what farming actually is. Or should I say you’re one sided in your definition and have left out a very vital part to farming and that is, rearing of animals.

Farming remains an integral part of our human existence and it’s vital for the survival of humanity. It might have been neglected or undermined but, government remains well aware of its importance and continues to allocates funds for farming in every successive administration. There are always programs about this and as much as a portion of it is been politicized with funds been looted, individual farmers as well don’t stick to budget or aren’t judicious with what is been given to them and the lack of follow up leads to failure.

It’s something that should be looked at as population continues to plummet, we don’t have to add food shortage to our problems. People should be encouraged towards farming and owning a garden or some livestock farms in there backyards.

Whatever the purpose might have been, snitching remains snitching. When you tell a secrete that wasn’t in your place to reveal, you’ve snitched and that ain’t nice. Doing something the wrong way doesn’t make it right, nope, it doesn’t. Your friend might appreciate the help that might come by this in few years but, he’s sure to be careful of the things he or she says around you because, you’re a snitch.

It’s no lies that a lot of gamblers keeps their gambling habits a secrete and private, they’ve got reasons for that and should you happen to be within the circle that is aware of these secretes, you help them to maintain there private life.

You could cheap in advices in between but, don’t go the length to revealing what isn’t in your place to reveal.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 03, 2024, 05:40:57 PM
You probably don't know that this is a semi final match so there is no chance of a draw in this match but yes if both sides score equal number of goals in the first 90 minutes of the game then it is considered a draw for betting purposes.  But as a semi-final match, there will be no draw in this match.  So if both sides are level in the first 90 minutes then extra time will be given but if there is no solution then a final result will be given by penalties. In the last match Juventus won the match and considered for the final and the team who wins from here will play the final match with Juventus. I see Atalanta as a bit of a possibility in this match but I'm not sure about it, I'm also confused enough

You probably don't know how the Coppa Italia works. First of all there are two rounds per duel, namely the first leg and the second leg. So of course this game can end in a draw. Why would it not be possible to end in a draw? And even if you didn't get this wrong, it was talked about placing bets and the game can of course end in a draw after 90 minutes. A draw is a valid outcome no matter whether the game in question is a final, is getting decided in just one round or whatever else. After 90 minutes the can be tied and that is a valid option to place a bet on. You better do some research on the subject matter next time.
What I understood from the user you happen to quote was just using the right word in a wrong context. Saying that a draw can’t result in a game is wrong. Of course a draw could be the result of just any game in whatever competition but, there could be deciders for a win and that’s where the extra time comes up and eventual penalties depending on the outcome. This is always so just to get a qualifier from each round. So yeah, I think the user understand the game but, just didn’t use the words in its best fit.

Juventus did qualify from the semi finals of yesterday against Lazio and would be joined by which ever team happens to qualify from thie fixture between Fiorentina vs Atalanta. Make no mistake Fiorentina is a very good team, they would be playing from a home side and would have the home advantage in this game. I could only think of the game ending in penalties and that’s pretty much a 50:50 chance to qualify.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 03, 2024, 05:31:28 PM
Manchester City hasn't lost a single game at home this season and I doubt that this will change now. Aston Villa's away from home stats are pretty good, but not good enough to put Manchester City at risk now. Of course a lot of things can happen in a single game, but I think that Manchester City is too strong for Aston Villa.

However, this is obviously an enormously important game for Aston Villa as they can maintain the gap between them and Tottenham Hotspurs as their main goal for this season is probably to qualify for the Champions League. A loss would give Tottenham Hotspurs the chance to take 4th position in the table.
If Arsenal didn’t loss to an inform Arsenal team, in fact they were the dominant side in that game and that was possible due to the rivalry as title contender nature of the game, I don’t see Manchester City loosing to just any team, most especially not to Aston Villa. It’s already been confirmed that Watkins wouldn’t be playing and with him out, it’s already a known fact that goal scoring would be very difficult for the team.

Manchester Cuty wouldn’t be going easy with this one, they need the point so I would be betting on a win in this one and I even think it’s going to be the same for Arsenal, a win too.
311  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Is this the beginning of crude oil by-products price dropping? on: April 03, 2024, 04:55:21 PM
I think this is just the beginning of many good things that is to come and as such, Nigerians can have a high expectancy from its government. When it comes to suffering, Nigerians have seen and endured a great deal of it.

I was speaking with a friend concerning the work that is been done at the Port Harcourt Refinery and he did a good job to school me through it. Although, it’s just one fourth of the work that’s to be done with a total remediation of the place given that, they’ve got about four phases to a total functional and producing refinery, the phase one is enough to bring about some changes should it not be politicized.

At least, they would have the pms product reduced, marketers that deal on export will cut cost as per dollar and transportation of these products to be readily available and the competition that would arise.

It’s going to take as much as the rest of the year to archive a producing face one while they kick off phase two and the rest of them as time unfolds but, it would take a period of enduring 3-4years. We need this change and it’s delightful to see these beams at the end of the tunnel.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has BTC really become more attractive than gold? on: April 02, 2024, 09:57:13 PM
Questions such as these will always be subjective. Should we look at it in terms of what forum users think, you would barely find anyone who would put gold ahead of Bitcoin. But, should you look at the world’s investing population and ask what is it they think between these two commodities; people would pick gold. That’s where you would find the majority and why? It’s because it’s government backed, gold have served for centuries and could be sued for decorative purposes as artifacts and jewelry.

Here right now, I’ll tell you both are doing okay for there spheres, no need bringing so much context to it. Even so, you wouldn’t find me buying gold for an investment, am in with Bitcoin.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 01, 2024, 11:48:18 PM
Tottenham are really likely to seal the champion's fate in the remaining weeks. They have matches to play against all the title challengers in the remaining time of the season. By the way Liverpool have captured a really good advantage by last week results. They have taken the lead. I hope Liverpool finish the season ahead of Arsenal because of having a side bet to win. Tongue
It must really be a time to feel so lucky with your bet but, I don’t wish you that luck lol… Arsenal just has to win this one, they’ve come way too far to not have this title. From being the average team we knew them to be that is always looking up to the FA cup for a trophy and Europa for an international league qualification to a title contender and a strong UCL side. Of course I’ll like to see their efforts pay off but,

It’s really up to Spurs to decide. Spurs would be crowning the league champions this season with their lose or win. Arsenal already ensured they don’t lose their advantage to Manchester City and set the pace for number of goals, playing better football at the end of the season, that’s so not their style last season and they could win this for real.

Calling the Donator section the Staff forum is the most cringe thing ever.  Most of us Donators wanted the Staff banned from that section.  Cheesy

Having a bad day ?
How should I have named this section :

I never think about the Donators section.
I posted there once in 2018 to answer a question about a... moderator. I hope you can forgive me for that.

Never a bad day for me. Quite the opposite actually. You’re forgiven. I also appreciate you not posting in the Donators section since 2018 if you aren’t a Donator.
Wanted the staff banned from that section, lol…

And the door is slammed in every one’s faces that isn’t a donator. Forearmed!

Seems the old guy @Theymos have lost it. Still coming up with it but, it ain’t leaving users shaking in our boots no more. Perhaps we got old at it and there is always just someone to let the cat out the bag before the break of dawn. Terrible people for an old time favorite. Theymos gave me a Hero feeling again, lol…

A fool’s day y’all.
315  Other / Meta / Re: Can a moderator be wrong? on: April 01, 2024, 11:29:45 PM
... are the moderators always correct?
Moderators are humans. Humans aren't always right/correct. However, their egos may be on the way of their admission of their wrong.
You captured it all in one simple sentence!

Anyone expecting moderators or assuming moderators to be always right would be fooling themselves. Still, you wouldn’t say they are wrong either.
What’s there to understand is that, there are more than one side to a story or a judgment. This has been exemplified in many cases with the number “69” and the alphabet “E” which could take different forms and meaning depending on what side you’re looking at it from.

Meanwhile, in trying to make moderators or anyone accept what you think is a flaw in their judgment, you rather approach it inquisitively before projecting your defensive ideas suggestively. Trying to put it to anyone would simply prompt in the person a need to be defensive and right!

Also, that people are already taking to a discussion wouldn’t make it off-topic. All the discussions could be in line with the OP but, off-topic plays out with regards to the board. I don’t know what topic might have prompt your having to question what judgment you received but, having a thread moved doesn’t stop the discussions that could continue there in. It might affect the exposure as, there are boards not visited by the majority or taken seriously and as much as that could hurt, a moderator would always act based on what they perceive to be most probable.

317  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Tax invasion charges: Can Nigerian government win Binance? on: March 31, 2024, 06:55:44 PM
You’ve made certain postulates that I very much agree with as to how the nation have been handled with much oversight over what is by far a very sensitive aspect to business and revenue generation in the nation. Are they going to claim not to have Ben aware or don’t have the means to go about getting the activities of exchanges in the likes of Binance registered and regulated in the nation? No, they just can’t. The issue has always been as usual for them, sharing funds rather than using due process.

I just hope Binance doesn’t bend but, follow the proceedings legally till they learn on how to handle these situations upon discovery of a new functional company in the nation. It’s a teaching moment, let them learn.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 31, 2024, 06:43:46 PM
Manchester City really tried all they could to win this game, but they were so dissappointed to be drawn by Arsenal, and at thesame time, Arsenal were dissappointed to draw the match as well making Liverpool go back top of the table.I don't blame Mancity for drawing this game because Arsenal were so prepared to win this game but that is how City were prepared as well,so while  City were gaining possession, Arsenal were defending to make an equal scoreline.Niw Liverpool care top of the table with two points,it's all good the reds that Arsenal drew City.
These are by far the deciding moments for the league as the 3 top teams have to face some position threatening opponents. Liverpool was thought to be having a light one with Crystal Palace but, records shows that, Crystal Palace haven’t been making any game easy for Liverpool, in fact, they’ve had to beat them a few times with some number of goals too. Little wonder why they got the early goal advantage but, they just couldn’t keep it. I don’t see how Klopp was going to allow that.
After managing to score the equalizer with Luis Diaz, Salah later on secured the winner for Liverpool in the second half.
While Arsenal and Manchester City couldn’t find a winner, Klopp is more than happy to have them share points and try to build from behind while, he puts his focus on being consistent.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: March 31, 2024, 06:15:15 PM
Very respectable 78 points, I think Isak was the one to get you over the line. Everyone has Palmer and Son but Isak is quite low owned in our pool.
Yeah, Isak made magic of their encounter with West Ham United, there were lots of penalties too but, what the heck, he converted them both, wasn’t short on assist and still stole a yellow card, lol… he’s touch made the difference.
We were mainly focused on M. Salah and Son for the GW. Though they didn’t really disappoint, they didn’t exactly shined either. Both teams came from a loosing side to claim the win with just a goal differential.

Manchester City and Arsenal’s null goals wasn’t what I hoped for this game but, it proved a difficult encounter as it ought to be. Haaland continues to have poor records against Arsenal, 4 encounters and only 2 goals with an assist, why he just couldn’t get my captaincy or future on my team. He was just going to average out.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: March 31, 2024, 05:55:30 PM

Yeah, I’d agree too, but it’s all or nothing right now, and my decision have everything to do with the final chip that could make or mar any chance I could still have, that’s the bench boost so, I’m taking out potentially long term injured players out for those that should get playing in a double game week, it’s still all a huge gamble, but the players I’m taking out will still be missing for those games anyways, so there is not so much to lose with the minus + I probably would not have had up to the 11 point-scoring players for the game week without taking points hit.
Oh yeah, that’s unavoidable and a plausible action in that regards. Don’t know how many injured players you had on your team but, the bench would have been able to suck them in for a couple more weeks to give you 2 transfer advantage. I sort of gambled that out this week and I don’t regret my actions now. Leaving E. Haaland on the bench and he couldn’t even get a goal or assist, yet I had to let Palmer stay in his place, playing 5 midfield and Palmer delivered 15points, no difference from Salah which I was hoping to bring in his stead but, they both equaled out in points. Would get Salah in eventually in the coming week but, at no cost of a point deduction for sure.
