Manchester City are the European Champions after beating their Italian opponent Inter Milan by a goal to nil. However, Inter Milan will go home with their head high because of their performance against Manchester City tonight. Inter were the better team of the night and had more chances to win the European title but "luck" I think wasn't on their own side to win the game.
I strongly disagree with you. Yes, Inter looked decent and even had chances to score a goal, but mostly it happened when Manchester City had already scored a goal and therefore City no longer had to rush headlong into the attack to score a goal. Although it is worthy of respect how Inter was able to pin City to their goal at the end of the match and, with luck, could transfer the game to extratime, although it seemed before that Inter already had less strength left in the last quarter of the match than City. In any case, the Inter players and Simono Inzaghi can be proud of the work done on the eve of the game and the match itself.

Let's see whether kane will take it or not. The only problem is totenham was putting non sense fees for him. His contract with totenham is not long. In my opinion if pricing him for 100 millions actually non sense price at this moment. I can't even expect him to play as good as when he was playing in totenham. Totenham never had good result in the EPL or all of european competitions. Kane will win nothing when he will be deciding to stay even longer in totenham. It's very hard to believe if kane will able to adapt in the new team easily.
Im losing hope for him. he has been too long to play in totenham. it may make him very difficult to adapt with the new club.
Spending 100m will not be worthy caused by you will be gambling on him. His performance can be so bad or better in the new club. That's why it's not any club will be willing spend a lot of money.
that's it.
I also think that Kane's bet on Tottenham looks pointless, because loyalty to his hometown club turns into a lack of titles at club level for a player. I will not say that Tottenham has a small budget, but still the main competitors have more and therefore they are playing titles among themselves, and Tottenham continues to remain on the approaches to them, even if they are very close. Therefore, Kane urgently needs to move to the grand club, which really claims titles, even in another championship, in another country. Kane has less and less time to win trophies, the age of a football player may well be interrupted by some stupid injury.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 09, 2023, 11:02:03 PM
This has really become a nightmare of big teams these days. Because they are continually losing important members of them. After Benzema's sudden departure it is normal to see people starting to talk about the probability of Lewandowski's doing the same as well this summer. However I don't feel like Barcelona will lose Lewandowski at least for now. Because I haven't seen even a single rumour about this. We are talking about Lewandowski in the end. If there was such intention by a team we would have learned about that already. But Barcelona had better create a Plan B in case of his departure. If they don't they might have big scoring problems depending on their not being able to sign a proper striker.
I also think that there is no reason for Lewandowski to leave Barcelona in search of super-profits to Saudi Arabia, following such stars of European football as Cristiano Ronaldo and now Karim Benzema. Still, I think that Lewandowski has not yet said everything he wanted in La Liga and therefore he still has to stay at least a season, especially since he seems to have a great relationship with Xavi both personally and professionally. I was much more surprised that Luka Modric decided to stay at Real Madrid, and did not leave in search of big money to the Arab sheikhs.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 09, 2023, 10:53:25 PM
Next season for PSg can be a nightmare if they don't get alternative players for any player they are going to lose, like Messi and Neymar because during this season even with see players they failed to get the results they wanted to get in French League and they failed in champions league however PSG won the French League title but the fact about PSG is they should start seeking for a new coach to gather a stronger team for the next season. However, they will need to invest even more than this season for the next season to rebuild the team.
I think that even taking into account the loss of Messi and the potential loss of Neymar in the squad, Paris Saint-Germain is obliged to take the championship title in France with a margin. And so, yes, you definitely need to strengthen if PSG still wants to win the coveted Champions League. I would not exaggerate so much for the fact of Messi's departure, because strictly speaking, the club simply served as a kind of incubator for Lionel to finally win his coveted World Cup title and also pump up his personal statistics on effective actions in European championships, but globally for what he was called into the team, the goal was not fulfilled and maybe it's even for the best that Messi has gone to the MLS and now PSG can build their game exclusively around Mbappe.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 09, 2023, 10:44:34 PM
Manchester City didn't have a good start this season because they struggled in the league to win matches at the beginning but for Arsenal and Manchester United they had a better start especially the Arsenal team who everyone gave the league at the middle of the season because they were beating any team that crosses their path except for few games which they lost but they were still seen as the favourite of the league. When Pep realize that they can still fight for the league he changed the game and took the trophy away from Manchester United and Arsenal but I believe it is a lesson given to the teams to always remain focus and consistent with good performance even though they see that the league is closer to them.
As for the fact that Pep changed the game and took the trophy because of it, I disagree a little. Nevertheless, the main reason for the next championship of Manchester City and Guardiola is that Arteta and his Arsenal failed to finish when they began to lose points en masse, where in theory they should not have done it. Which of course does not negate the fact that Manchester City had a very powerful finish in the Premier League, but still the root cause is a strong decline in Arsenal's results at the finish.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 22, 2023, 11:10:36 PM
Its going to be a very difficult night for Barcelona, not because United are exceptional but because of the injuries Barcelona are facing. I think Xavi does not rate the Europa league because why would he decide to change his working defense  against a team like United. If Kounde, Araujo, Christensen and Balde all start for Barcelona tomorrow then Man United will not have it easy. Martinez been available for United is an advantage to United. When you look at it critically you'll see it not going to be an easy game for both teams. United are at an advantage and they are suppose to win but it doesn't mean it will be a piece of cake.
A notable battle awaits us and it is very difficult for me personally to give preference to any of the teams. The teams are very close in strength at this point in time and all the nuances will decide. But still, I think that Manchester United have some advantage, because the match will be held at their home stadium and, according to the idea of MU, winning the Europa League may be more important, whereas for Barcelona I think the main priority now is to keep their advantage and separation from the rest of the teams in La Liga and take the title.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 08:56:50 PM
Even I think the probability of winning will be difficult. Maybe only 25%. Just look at how they played just now, even they are almost the same as Munchen playing in Paris. Their second leg will be in Germany, there is different pressure and Munchen will certainly be stronger. In fact, I always see the right side being used by Bayern Munchen to make passes or shots from outside the penalty area. Pavard's red card won't make much of an impact in tomorrow's second match in Germany. I am optimistic that PSG will fail to return, and Munchen will Qualify for the next phase.
In my opinion, Pavard was one of the best on the pitch and the fact that Paris Saint-Germain did not show the advantages of their attacking power is also a huge merit of this player. It is not a fact that the loss of Pavard in the second leg will be fatal for Bayern, but still it will add headaches to Nagelsmann to build the defensive actions of the team. Personally, for the situation with the second leg, this is 50-50 percent, especially since the away goal rule is no longer valid and PSG will only need to score one goal to move the match into extra time.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 08, 2023, 11:49:14 PM
I see something different here, I think it's good for the team if there are players who can play in several positions, that should be the ability of every player. But the problem is they lack players who are in that position and they seem to force it, which is not good.
I haven't seen the creativity of Carlo Ancelotti when Real Madrid is down like this.
But you can see in today's Real Madrid match against Al Ahly that they were able to win with a lot of scores, Real Madrid should have also been able to get a lot of goals against other big clubs. There is no other choice but to try to correct mistakes and form new strategies because La Liga is a very prestigious match.
With all due respect to Al Ahly, the FIFA Club World Cup is a completely different tournament and more of an exhibition and by no means indicative in terms of Real Madrid's chances of winning the title in La Liga. The European and South American teams are a priori considered favorites and enter the fight only at the semi-final stage. However, this did not help Flamengo in the other semi-final match and now we have a rather unexpected final. Therefore, if the current Real Madrid squad can win the FIFA Club World Cup, this does not automatically mean winning La Liga. Different tournaments, different number of matches and different depth of the squad is needed for success.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 01, 2023, 11:27:46 PM
It is so exciting to see Barcelona not missing the opportunity,  the best thing for them to do if they want to lead the league is for them to make sure to give real madrid good gap that will be difficult for Real Madrid to think of meeting them. This point that Barcelona has achieved will give them the strength to strive for more points. Nice performance from Barcelona,  despite the game was kind of tough at the beginning of the game but they still made their way to secure two goals.
Well, it's too early to talk about the breakaway yet and we'll watch Real Madrid play their match. There is still a full 2nd round of the championship ahead and a lot more can change, and indeed in the current conditions for Xavi and his wards, the most important thing now is to continue to win and score points. And then how the situation will develop. It seems that Real Madrid is slowly getting out of the semblance of a crisis situation in which it found itself earlier. And you don't even need to talk about the ability of Real Madrid to get out of almost hopeless situations. The only thing that is alarming is the fact of a complete lack of transfer activity in the winter.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 18, 2023, 03:34:17 PM
In my opinion, Real Madrid doesn't need new players this period as there is a mix of experienced and young players out there. They have had bad days with consecutive bad results, which can happen with any big team, but it's easy for a team like Real Madrid to recover fast. However, their next match against Athletic Bilbao won't be easy as Bilbalo used to be difficult opponent in home matches.
It depends on what tasks the club sets for itself. If the club is going to become the first after Barcelona in La Liga, then this is one thing, if it still wants to beat Barcelona in the standings, then this is another matter Grin In any case, it is not for nothing that it is said that there are no limits to perfection and strengthening the club will never hurt. If last season Barcelona failed the first part of the season and gained momentum only in the second half of the season, then this year Xavi's wards joined the fight for the title from the very beginning and the match for the Super Cup should at least make you think. Still, I think that fortune cannot be favorable to Real Madrid as it was last season, and therefore the composition of the club should be formed with some margin of maximum capacity.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 07, 2023, 11:06:11 PM
I don't understand Inter. They were pretty good against Napoli and deserved that victory as well. This victory should have increased their self-confidence and morale by a high rate. But they couldn't beat even Monza today. Monza's equalizer came in the last minutes of the game and Inter couldn't answer it unfortunately. Inter are still not able to maintain a consistent performance. They need to make these point losses as low as possible to secure themselves in top 4. I don't know if they can fight for the title. It depends on their consistency.
Well, it's a completely different matter when you need to tune in to the leader of the standings and it's much easier to do it. It's just that Inter decided at a certain point in the game to win with little blood and less effort and gave the initiative to Monza. But this is a dangerous strategy and Monza, even in extra time, was still able to equalize the score, especially since she played in front of home fans. However, Lautaro Martinez's goal, which was victorious almost until the very end of the meeting, was quite curious in itself and was not the result of a meaningful combination of Inter, but the result of a curious mistake of a delayed Monza player.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: December 30, 2022, 11:59:33 PM
A lot of people will choose to be a boss of their own but the truth is not everyone can run a business. As an employee, you have little decision making to do hence you're not liable to take risks that can make or mar the success of the organisation. That would serve as advantage for people who have problem deciding when face with the fear that whatever decision they make may bring their whole business down.
A striking example of these approaches is the fate of Ronald Wayne, who, along with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, was the third co-founder of Apple. He did not want to take risks at the beginning of the company's work and sold his share of it, missing his chance to fabulously get rich then. This path is not strewn with roses, success is achieved by a few and not always purposefulness allows you to achieve this goal. The same Jobs tried to bring Wayne back to the company again, when money was urgently needed, but Wayne was adamant. Therefore, a lot depends on the character.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: December 28, 2022, 11:54:27 PM
I think this is the real big problem, how can it become a real exchange currency if its owners hold it as if it were an asset? If you don't spend and move funds, it will inevitably take the place of any refuge property and this is not the right path.
An even more real big problem is that cryptocurrencies are no longer worth as much as they were worth some time ago, and here a really paradoxical situation turns out. Those who do not believe in the future prospects of cryptocurrencies try not to keep them for a long time, and those who believe in further prospects keep this asset at home. And yes, people use cryptocurrencies according to how convenient it is to use them at this time. And at this time, cryptocurrencies are much more convenient to use as an asset, and not as currencies, because in this situation cryptocurrencies are by no means a competitor to traditional fiat currencies and I don't see any reason yet when normal states will give preference to some other people's cryptocurrencies rather than their own banknotes.
314  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mistakes Successful People Never Make Twice on: December 27, 2022, 11:59:41 PM
These so called successful people know that it is in making mistakes that one can most times have and learn lessons from the experience. They are wise in being able to understand with right analysis, what, why and how things didn't pan out as hoped.
So when I see a successful person I know he/she is wise and have made certain mistakes that even without trying cannot be repeated.
In principle, this is what experience is for, to try not to repeat your own mistakes and the most important thing in such mistakes is when a person makes these mistakes himself, because there is nothing more effective for assimilation. Another question is, not everything is so clear and what was a mistake last time will not necessarily be a mistake next time. Therefore, there are a lot of successful people who nevertheless acted contrary to all the rules and broke the bank, unlike those who, having burned themselves last time, no longer began to take risks next time, and risk is also the basis of success.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: December 22, 2022, 11:59:26 PM
Bitcoin as the only competitor could undermine fiat in the future, no doubt so governments make regulations to control crypto but it will never succeed unless it enforces regulation for centralized exchanges and altcoin projects. There will never be any coin to replace Bitcoin, even though certain coins increase when hype their position will never reach the top 3 big coins. So everyone has experienced cases of centralized coin investment projects that have collapsed due to fraud, then the volume of bitcoins will increase higher because they switch to investing in bitcoins to recover losses in the long term.
Bitcoin cannot undermine fiat currencies in any way in the near future, because bitcoin and fiat currencies have different fields of application. Nevertheless, fiat currencies are inscribed in the economy of any capable state and serve as one of the most effective methods of economic policy, and therefore no major state will give such a tool from its arsenal, especially into the hands of other persons who have nothing to do with the state system and it is not clear what goals they pursue, even if the most benevolent.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffett rips Wall Street for turning stock market into a gambling parlor on: December 22, 2022, 11:46:52 PM
And they're right with what they're saying no matter how many times they've seen it.  The stock market has been in the longest bull market in history at this point and hell yes there are some people who are doing incredibly stupid things.  Bull markets always bring out that in individuals who are predisposed to act like idiots when there's money involved.
The main problem at this point in time is really too long a bull market period, which contradicts the basic nature of capitalism, when periods of growth should be replaced by crises, when the market is being cleared of uncompetitive participants. The governments of the countries seem to have found an effective way against crises in the form of printing an additional amount of money, but thanks to this, the market is not healing and the problems are simply driven deeper, threatening even greater problems in the future. There is a kind of decoupling of the stock market from direct production, and because of this, the stock market really begins to resemble a casino that has less and less to do with the production of goods and services, for which the stock market was originally created.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: December 20, 2022, 11:59:53 PM
The main goal is total control, with fiat money this is not so easy to do, but with digital currencies this task will be greatly simplified, so they will strive for this and achieve their goal. But we will not completely abandon fiat currencies soon, it should be comfortable and understandable for all segments of the population, otherwise they simply will not be used.
In addition, at this point in time, the existence of cash is a matter of national security, because cash is not so tied to electronic infrastructure and may well exist and operate in the absence of it.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: December 20, 2022, 11:54:50 PM
It just all depends on what you want to do, that is, just save your capital, increase your capital and at what rate you are going to increase it. Regarding stocks, that is, the stock market and the cryptocurrency market, you have more chances to increase your capital at a faster pace. But as you know, free cheese happens only in a mousetrap and in this case there is a much greater risk. As for the shares themselves, I would like to say the following, that everything depends on which block of shares you acquire, that is, in most cases, the acquisition of a large number of shares implies the acquisition of the company itself with real estate relying on this account, so I would not talk so superficially about shares, that is, real property.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: Forget a return to office: We’re living in the age of side hustles on: December 19, 2022, 11:15:01 PM
In any case, the employer wants to control his employees and the best way to do this is to work in the office. Let Covid 19 and the events that followed have made some adjustments to the ways and popularity of types of work, but still no one is going to cancel traditional types of work and many large corporations have begun to force their employees to return to their offices.  It is not for nothing that Elon Musk, after acquiring control over Twitter, has an irreconcilable struggle with the remote method of work. By the way, do not confuse freelancing and outsourcing, if many companies are willing to outsource some of their activities, but only a few are willing to give it into the hands of freelance freelancers. Nevertheless, service subordination is a great thing and allows you to achieve incredible things in business. Now, regarding freelancing in the cryptocurrency sphere, I would like to say the following: because of the history of the subject itself, the positions of freelancing are strong here, but the more the industry develops and, accordingly, the larger the size of companies, the greater the role of traditional methods of building the labor process. Therefore, it's a little premature to say that it's time to forget about returning to the offices.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 19, 2022, 10:43:08 PM
Along with the growth of capital, appetites begin to grow Wink That's human nature and there's nothing you can do about it. It seems that the most reasonable option in this situation is to invest 50 percent of the earned and deposit 50 percent of the remaining capital. Another question is that a lot depends on all sorts of accompanying details like your temperament and what degree of risk you can assume, in what phase the market is in a bullish or bearish trend, what is the share of altcoins and bitcoin itself in investments. Therefore, first of all, you need to start from yourself and listening to other people's opinions, you should still have your own strategy and first of all rely on it.
